Biden to Give Obama Gun Recommendations by Tuesday: ‘Gun Ownership and the Type of Weapons That Can Be Owned’

Vice President Joe Biden to Give Obama Gun Recommendations by Tuesday

Vice President Joe Biden makes brief remarks to the press after a meeting with Cabinet members and sportsmen’s, wildlife and gun interest groups at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building Jan. 10, 2013 in Washington, D.C. Vice President Joe Biden said Thursday he will give President Barack Obama his recommendations about how to deal with gun violence by Tuesday.

Biden was tapped to lead an administration task force after a gunman shot to death 20 children and six adults at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn.

“There’s an emerging set of recommendations, not coming from me but coming from the groups we’ve met with,” Biden said during a day meeting with sportsmen and wildlife interest groups. “And I’m going to focus on the ones that relate primarily to gun ownership and the type of weapons that can be owned. And one is…a surprising recurrence of suggestions that we have universal background checks. Not just close the gun show loophole but total, universal background checks, including private sales.”

He said it was also crucial for federal agencies to be able to gather data about gun violence, including “what kind of weapons are used most to kill people” and “what kind of weapons are trafficked weapons,” according to the White House pool report.

“There has got to be some common ground, to not solve every problem but diminish the probability” of future mass shootings, Biden said. “That’s what this is all about. There are no conclusions I have reached.”

Obama vowed last month “whatever power this office holds” to prevent future mass shootings.

After meeting with gun safety groups Wednesday, Biden said the president could take “executive action” to crack down on guns. Biden was set to meet with National Rifle Association representatives later on Thursday.

Biden described himself as a shotgun owner but said he’s “no great hunter, it’s mostly skeet shooting for me.”

Anyone who talks about taking our Rights, talks about changing the Constitution, is comitting treason. The government can’t seem to get guns away from the gangs, so they now want ours. The government can go regulate themselves. They are breaking their Oath of Office.

You can have this gun but not that one, these bullets but not those, anti depressants, sorry no gun for you. Little by little, bit by bit our 2nd amendment rights will be taken and with that gone, all the rest will soon follow, for there will be no citizens left, only subjects.

It’s probably been said, but I believe they are trying to hype up what they plan to do in order to make people furious. After Congress negotiates back and forth, they will pass some small gun control measures such as banning high capacity mags, and people will say “well, that’s not too bad, I can live with that”

Don’t fall for their tactics. Progressives have mastered the art of slowly chipping away at our rights. They’ve been doing it for nearly a century.

So this the “State of Our Nation” VP Bite Me too recommend what type of guns American can own.
This man apparently suffering from the early stages of “dementia”. Sorry, allow me to correct myself.
He has been “demented” for a long time. Putting him in a position of deciding anything, is a danger
too our country. God forbid he would be forced too replace Obama as president. That would take us from terrible to completely outrageous, on second thought to utter disaster. It’s hard too govern

Efficiency of Militia Bill H.R. 11654, of June 28, 1902 invalidates all so-called gun-control laws. It also divides the militia into three distinct and separate entities.

** SPREAD THIS TO EVERYONE **

The three classes H.R. 11654 provides for are the organized militia, henceforth known as the National Guard of the State, Territory and District of Columbia, the unorganized militia and the regular army. The militia encompasses every able-bodied male between the ages of 18 and 45. All members of the unorganized militia have the absolute personal right and 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms of any type, and as many as they can afford to buy.

Efficiency of Militia Bill H.R. 11654
of 1902 cannot be repealed; to do so would violate bills of attainder and ex post facto laws which would be yet another gross violation of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The President of the United States has zero authority without violating the Constitution to call the National Guard to serve outside of their State borders.

The National Guard Militia can only be required by the National Government for limited purposes specified in the Constitution (to uphold the laws of the Union; to suppress insurrection and repel invasion). These are the only purposes for which the General Government can call upon the National Guard.

Attorney General Wickersham advised President Taft, “the Organized Militia (the National Guard) can not be employed for offensive warfare outside th

Here’s one for Good Ole Joe

The Quest For The Ultimate Power! 1/10/2013
As Vice President Joe Biden puts on his act of looking for answers to what is needed for gun control, he is also espousing the side stepping of Congress, via Presidential Order to enact gun control bans on various part of weapons or a weapon that looks a certain way or adding additional expenses on the licensing of said weapons or ammunition.
I understand the heartfelt knee jerk reaction to the school shootings across the nation. However to null or change an Amendment to the Constitution of the United States by Presidential Order is Unconstitutional. In fact Presidential Orders themselves are Unconstitutional but have not been challenged at this time. So to accept that the President or Vice president can assume the power of the people to change a Right given by our Creator is absolutely an act of SEDITION or even HIGH TREASON. Any Congressmen allowing this Presidential Order to stand, without taking action against the said same is him/her-self guilty of Sedition and Treason by means of quietly standing by and doing nothing. This is called Nonfeasance. Which is tantamount to voting affirmative, for this Presidential Order of GUN Control or the Banning of parts or ammunition for said guns. Including the over regulation of such.

Below are the reasons for the Bill Of Rights as argued by our forefathers.

Who is this communist who pretends to be an American president but trashes the constitution. The regime does not know what it is in for. We will fight if we must. The left wing anti gun fanatics are determined to push this narrative that guns are responsible for today’s violence. Here is a guy who pointed to the pharmaceutical industry in a newspaper article and suddenly died a mysterious death. http://www.naturalnews.com/038616_John_Noveske_mysterious_death_car_crash.html Looks like Washington DC liberals are determined to grab our guns and kill anyone who might stop that process…….

Why not just pass an gun making it illegal for anyone to possess any fire arm within 5 miles of any US Soldier serving overseas. That would end our problems in the middle east and elsewhere in the world. I am sure it would work, just like L.A., Chicago, and Detroit.

Bet your **** that he is going to include that you have to sign and be checked each time you try to purchase ammo. BUT if you have any indication of “mental instability” you will be denied the sale. MEANING if you even have or have had in the past, a prescription for “Wellbutrin” used purely as an aid to stop smoking, you will be denied. It’s going to be the same thing as trying to get any quality Life Insurance after you have one mark of being prescribed antidepressants in your medical file. And ANYONE having a prescription for Xanax simply because their Boss is a slave driving **** head – you too will have the ‘big red flag’ by your name.

Yep, it’s jacked up. The mental health issue is a big deal concerning these shootings. And I agree, they will narrow it down to the point that any medication that can be construed as problematic will bar an individual from owning guns. There are safeguards in place for mental health in NICS but you can’t stop someone from stealing a gun. They are essentially accusing everyone of being a mass murderer unless you can prove otherwise. That’s impossible to do until you die without having committed murder. You can’t predict what a sane person will do or what a person with mental issues will do. Congress can’t see the future of people or determine their intentions. The focus should be on education concerning bullying, gun safety and the desensitizing of our kids to murder via movies and games. No amount of laws will prevent someone from committing a crime. It will prevent a law abiding citizen, but by definition, criminals break laws. Obviously they don’t care. My advice to the king and his court jester is to work on the desensitizing of our youth to killing, go after the gang bangers and their guns and leave law abiding citizen’s rights alone.
