The Obamas of The World ‘Don’t Want to Save Lives’: The Ted Nugent Gun Interview You’ve Been Waiting For
Not one to shy away from his support for the Second Amendment, Ted Nugent (i.e. the infamous “Motor City Madman”) during an interview on the Peter Schiff radio show Tuesday threw himself headfirst into the gun control debate.
His purpose? To argue that a loss of gun rights equals a loss of personal freedom.
“This conversation and the importance of focusing on the right to keep and bear arms really is the deciding factor in America versus the rest of the world,” Nugent said. “If the people in power — Michael Bloomberg, Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein, Eric ‘Gun-Running-Attorney-General’ Holder — are you kidding me?”
“To force American citizens into unarmed helplessness,” he added, “that’s their agenda!”
Nugent turned his attention to violent crime statistics published by the F.B.I., Scotland Yard, and the United Nations.
“Where there are more guns in citizens’ hands, not only does crime go down, not only does violent crime go down, but personal assaultive-type crimes like rape, carjacking, and home invasion — they don’t just down, Peter: They go away,” he said.
“Why would you resist that obvious opportunity for an upgrade in reduction of crime? It’s because the Pelosis and the Eric Holders and the Barack Obamas in the world: They don’t want to save lives. They don’t care about reducing crime,” he added. “They are absolutely obsessed with their hatred for firearms!”

We are propping up people as the voice for our causes that do not represent us well.
What Ted and Alex say may ring true, but there are better people to speak for us.
To keep out of Vietnam, Ted pooped himself, and did not bath prior to seeing the draft board. Alex Jones comes across as a conspiracy theory nut case.
How about we find someone who has actually served this nation, knows firearms inside and out, and can stand toe to toe with any lib, and explain why the AR is a good choice for defending the home,to hunt, and as a sporting rifle. Someone that can point out that the .308 ammo you use in a deer rifle, can also be used in an AR 10. Someone that can point out that the most common used firearm at the President’s Hundred match at camp Perry (one of the most prestigious rifle matches in America) is the AR15.
Why not find someone that has perhaps competed in the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) events, and explain why Teddy Roosevelt saw fit to start the CMP, making Americans able to train with current battle rifles, allowing a small standing Army, but keeping a stable of qualified marksman in the civilian ranks that can be called on in a time of war. This also jives with the “well regulated Militia”.
There are men and women who are NRA High Masters, CMP dual distinguished in Rifle and Pistol, who have served in our Armed forces, who speak well, and know

We do not own the AR to defend our homes, to hunt, and to compete in rifle matches. While it may be a very good choice for all three of those reasons, the real reason we own the AR, is that it is the current day military rifle, istis best suited to stopping a tyrannical government that wants to get rid of our bill of rights. Those rights are not given to us by the gov. They are ours, and it is the responsibility of the gov and the military to protect those rights.
I ask, sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people except for a few public officials. – George Mason

LAW OF THE LAND
The general misconception is that any statute passed by legislators bearing the appearance of
law constitutes the law of the land. The U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the land, and
any statute, to be valid, must be in agreement. It is impossible for a law, which violates the
Constitution to be valid. This is succinctly stated as follows:
“All laws which are repugnant to the Constitution are null and void.” Marbury vs. Madison, 5
US (2 Cranch) 137, 174, 176, (1803)
“When rights secured by the Constitution are involved, there can be no rule making or
legislation which would abrogate them.” Miranda vs. Arizona, 384 US 436 p. 491.
“An unconstitutional act is not law; it confers no rights; it imposes no duties; affords no
protection; it creates no office; it is in legal contemplation, as inoperative as though it had never
been passed.” Norton vs. Shelby County 118 US 425 p. 442
“The general rule is that an unconstitutional statute, though having the form and name of law, is
in reality no law, but is wholly void, and ineffective for any purpose; since unconstitutionality
dates from the time of its enactment, and not merely from the date of the decision so branding
it.
“No one is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it.” 16

Posted on January 10, 2013 at 10:13amThe three classes H.R. 11654 provides for are the organized militia, henceforth known as the National Guard of the State, Territory and District of Columbia, the unorganized militia and the regular army.
The militia encompasses every able-bodied male between the ages of 18 and 45. All members of the unorganized militia have the absolute personal right and 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms of any type, and as many as they can afford to buy.
The Dick Act of 1902 cannot be repealed; to do so would violate bills of attainder and ex post facto laws which would be yet another gross violation of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
The President of the United States has zero authority without violating the Constitution to call the National Guard to serve outside of their State borders.
The National Guard Militia can only be required by the National Government for limited purposes specified in the Constitution (to uphold the laws of the Union; to suppress insurrection and repel invasion).
These are the only purposes for which the General Government can call upon the National Guard.
Attorney General Wickersham advised President Taft, “the Organized Militia (the National Guard) can not be employed for offensive warfare outside the limits of the United States.”
The Honorable William Gordon, in a speech to the House on Thursday, October 4, 1917, proved that the action of President Wilson in ordering the Organized Militia (the National Guard) to fig

He was young, dumb and ignorant as he admits. I entered the Marines at 19 and even as a Marine, I did some really dumb things when I was young as well. Ted has more than made up for his lack of service and spends alot of time propping up the military and military causes, charities. I retired from the Marines in 2001 and would much rather have him out there speaking on our behalf than some of those with whom I served! So I am not misunderstood, just because you served does not mean you served well or honorably, those are whom I am speaking about !

Posted on January 10, 2013 at 12:37pmI really enjoyed hearing fascinating insights provided by Lt. Col Grossman, West Point Psychology Professor, Professor of Military Science. The Army Ranger is considered one of the nation’s foremost experts on PTSD and is a scholar in the field of human aggression and the roots of violent crime.were both scientifically founded and informative. For instance, the Lt. Col Dave Grossman observed that in 5,000 years of trained combat, there has never been “one recorded time in the history of the world” where a juvenile has committed crimes such as those at Sandy Hook. He noted that what today’s video games do is provide a reward for killing each target until there is none remaining that it has conditioned human beings to derive “pleasure from human death and suffering.” It’s “stimulus/response” repeatedly until automatic. It’s how soldiers are trained to overcome adversion to kill another person. Even the end wher players kill hem selves may echo the game re-start. Spooky.

Americans get upset and emotional about the issues and after the hoopla is finished, Americans find out they have lost many of their rights, money, higher taxes,etc.. Then, surprised,Americans look at each other and say,”What happened”? The 530 lawmakers in Washington are not doing good things for the USA. AND TO GO ALONG WITH ALL OF THIS, I’LL SHARE TWO QUOTES, ONE PITIFUL AND ONE GREAT!

In 2006, an interviewer from the British newspaper The Independent questioned Nugent about a 1977 interview in High Times magazine[65] in which Nugent admitted taking elaborate steps to avoid the Vietnam draft.[57] In the interview Nugent says, contrary to the story in High Times, that “I had a 1Y [student deferment]. I enrolled at Oakland Community College.”. However, the Selective Service classification for student deferment is actually 2-S, and medical deferment is 1-Y. A copy of Nugent’s Selective Service record shows that he had at separate times both a 1-Y medical deferment and 2-S student deferment. His last examination in 1972 designated him 4-F, lending credence to the evasion story. .[66] “… if I would have gone over there, I’d have been killed, or I’d have killed, or I’d kill all the hippies in the foxholes … I would have killed everybody,” he told the Detroit Free Press in an interview published July 15, 1990.

We can just leave out the part about what he did to stay out of Nam. A LOT of people did that since it was NOT a war to protect this country OR OUR CONSTITUTION. Ted IS a Patriot and knows more about firearms than a lot of the firearms instructors out there. Ted does not back down from the discussion as MANY of the weak kneed so called conservatives do. I personally would rather have Ted than idiots like John Boehner getting the message out there. I agree that Alex Jones is WAY out there but again, at least he forcefully gets the point across. The bottom line is that we could have Mother Theresa talking in support of the Second Amendment and the libs couldn’t figure it out since they were never taught how to discern FACTS.

Posted on January 10, 2013 at 4:46pmBanjarmon, You are correct, except it is actually 17-45.
The second amendment has nothing, nothing to do with hunting. Hunting was not even in the thoughts of our founding fathers when they wrote the second amendment. They knew that the only way to keep a government from becoming, as say, Hitler did in the late thirties, was to make sure the people were armed. In fact, in the beginning of our country, it was mandatory that all able bodied men were to have a military style rifle in case they were needed as minutemen for the militia.
10 USC 311:
(a) The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section 313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States and of female citizens of the United States who are members of the National Guard.
(b) The classes of the militia are—
(1) the organized militia, which consists of the National Guard and the Naval Militia; and
(2) the unorganized militia, which consists of the members of the militia who are not members of the National Guard or the Naval Militia.
If people do not like our Constitution the way it was intended to be, then they should, by all means, look into moving to a country that shares their values. If you do not like guns, move to Britain, which is number four on the list of most violent countries in the world.

I heard that story about about Nugent many years ago and it didn’t go down that way. He still got out of it but not the Section 8 route.
I served 21+yrs. as a Marine from 1986-2007 and can tell you right now that the left will be critical of any pro-2nd Amendment voice out there. The only way to deal with the left is when they try to slap us in the face, break their freakin nose. If they kick us in the knee, kick them in the face.
They don’t realize that how much they embrace something like abortion, we that served will defend the 2nd Amendment 10,000 times more. You are talking about a bunch of glue-sniffing wastes of human cell tissues that were GIVEN their freedom by we that EARNED ours. They have no clue what it takes to maintain our way of life and only are patriotic when polls tell them to be.
You being on active duty should know first hand that the left doesn’t give two craps about active duty or veterans and would gladly take military funds and give it to the stupid and lazy that vote for them.
These jelly skulls are ******* away all of the work and blood you, myself and thousands of our fellow veteran brothers and sisters have sacrificed and they don’t care.

Posted on January 10, 2013 at 8:47amI think that those of you criticizing Beck for opposing Alex Jones have missed the point. Morgan was in no way interested in having a conversation about guns. He wanted to make 2nd amendment advocates look radical and scary. Who better to do that than someone like Jones who is constantly talking about seeing a conspiricy behind everything that moves. Beck’s criticism has to do with Jones allowing himself to be used in this manner. Politics in this country is not about truth, law, and debate, it is about winning by whatever means works. Hysteria and emotions are the governing factors these days and the liberal media use that effectively. They picked Jones to be on the show because they knew he would do what they wanted him to do, even if he did so unwittingly. If you want to know about how progressives operate and how we got here go to the Hillsdale College website and sign up for their on line course. It is entitled “Constitution 201: The progressive Rejection of the founding and the Rise of bureaucratic despotism”. Among many of the more recent shoot-em-ups, the kids had been taking at least one of the listed: Zoloft, Prozac, Ritalin, Paxil, Lexapro, Xanax, Ambien, Trazodone, which might relate to their mental illness.
Keep guns locked away from these children and let the rest of Americans be able to protect themselves from the bad guys.. Trouble is, if they can’t get guns, they will use explosives or something else that might harm more people. But what the heck, let’s outlaw everything that can potentially hurt someone: cars, bikes, bow & arrows, knives, hammers, chain saws, just name it, including a sharp stick. God Bless you Ted Nugent.

They have no clue what it means to be an American, them with their pea brains, and communist attudes tgrying to run a free country in to the ground.
The biggest problem isn’t them though, it’s the people who don’t see what’s going on or just plain don’t care, and the peoblem we all pay for the stupidity in the end.
So people do all you can to hold on to your guns, listen to the words of Teg Nugent who is a true American he’s a person who fully understands how this country works.

Posted on January 10, 2013 at 8:42amNo one ever talks about the REAL issue facing America. It’s not Guns. It’s Mental Health.
John Wayne Gacy, Jr. (March 17, 1942 – May 10, 1994) was an American serial killer and rapist who sexually assaulted and murdered at least 33 teenage boys and young men between 1972 and 1978. At the time of Gacy’s arrest he had claimed to both Des Plaines and Chicago investigators that the total number of victims he had killed could be as high as 45.
Jeffrey Dahmer was responsible for a series of gruesome murders of 17 young men from 1988 until he was caught on July 22, 1991, in Milwaukee.
These are only two Men, in a long list, who Murdered others without the use of any Guns.
If you’re going to confiscate my Guns ( just try to ), then you better confiscate all my Knives including Butter Knives out of my Kitchen, my Alcohol, my Cars, my Children’s Baseball Bats and EVERYTHING else you can think of that I could use to go on a killing spree with.
But don’t treat the root cause of Mass Shootings in Amerika and around the world…….Mental Illness.

Posted on January 10, 2013 at 10:01amWhile I agree, I think it goes even farther than that. You’re right it is not about guns in any shape or form. Mental illness is a big part, but it is also a culture that glorifies violence and brutality, video games, movies, violent music, the anonymity of the internet in gaming sites, all mix with a lack of parental involvement to tell kids “Hey, this is fantasy, this isn’t real. This is just entertainment, you are not to lose yourself in this. You need real friendships and relationships, you have chores and obligations and school you need to be involved in.”
I, myself, very much enjoy first person shooter games, role playing games, etc. So I’m not at all blaming “The evil video games”. I can also enjoy violent movies and fully understand “It’s just a movie.” Without parental involvement and reinforcement, this culture of violence we glorify has an obvious effect on children when we just plop them down in front of the TV or PC instead of raise them ourselves. TV, Internet, and XBox have replaced parenting. Parents choose to be friends instead of parents. They don’t see when their kids can’t handle it properly. Combine that with someone who is mentally ill who cannot tell the difference between right/wrong/reality/fantasy… You get what we’ve seen lately.

Posted on January 10, 2013 at 11:23am001,
I would add a couple of other things.
Kids can’t play tag, touch football, dodge ball they don’t learn to play sports in Gym class, because it may make someone feel less-than, then we wonder why our kids are fat and lazy.
We live in master planned communities where there are restrictions on children building tree forts. Playing cowboys and Indians, cops and robbers is made impossible by a postage stamp lot and the only play space is a communal park then we wonder why our kids have no creativity.
Kids come home from school to an empty house where they are told “stay in the house don’t answer the door” or a “day care” where they are told what to do and when to do it by strangers and then we wonder why they spend so much time texting, living in a virtual reality or have lost their sense of connection to the family unit.
If you want to fix violence in this country, things need to change but laws won’t do it. It starts with us, in our homes, with our kids and the way we live our lives. But liberals, especially the feminists and the bleeding hearts don’t want to hear it or see it as it destroys their whole philosophy.

Barry wants a total gun ban and like his drunken idiot said he’ll use EO’s to go around the candy@ss congress to accomplish that goal. If you study Barry’s past he couldn’t be anything other than a communist. His real father Frank Marshall Davis was a well known communist and his mentor who indoctrinated him into Marxism. I only raise this because it helps explain our rulers mindset,he simply detests this country as founded and he’s doing what he said he’d do, he’s fundamentally transforming America,I believe into a communist state and we’ve been moving in that direction for many many years.

I’m guessing about 50 rounds per gun in ammo or 1.5 billion bullets. And isn”t the the second ammendment to stop a tyranical oppressive government (PS it doesn’t matter what you think it IS!)? And 537 people, house, senate and executive branch, think they are going to disarm them with their collective big mouths! If I were an odds maker in Vegas I wouldn’t bet on it. Even Pravda the Russian propaganda organ (here it’s ABC, CBS AND NBC along with the NYT) supports our second amendment because they saw first hand the results of this type of action in their country by Stalin being proposed by the radical extremist Democrat party and its supporters the union thugs. Heck they even labeled Barack Insane Obama a Communist on the level of Stalin and believe they would know. The definition of mentally ill is the radical extremeist Democrat party and its supporters and the asyluym is Washington DC. Posted on January 10, 2013 at 10:48amJust the fact-
If you look at your history of America you will see you are incorrect in your assumptions on the police and military. You don’t even have to go back very far, just look at Katrina. The real percentage that will disobey orders is more like 25%. More police officers will violate your rights without hesitation than the military guys. In Katrina the Military and police confiscated firearms without an actual law to back them up. they gave no receipts and most of those folks still have not gotten their property back. They police are conditioned to thinking everyone else is a perp, it’s us vs them. Just look at the methods of the drug war and you will see you are wrong. Hopefully more and more become oath keepers and wake up to their duty. The military is less set I think, but most will follow orders, unless their commanders do what is right. During the LA riots they interview the marines that were sent to babysit the rioters. 95% said they would open fire on the citizens if they were told to.

But, these idiots on the left are rooting for him to sign an Executive Order to try and trump part of the Constitution. While your service to this country is certainly respected, speak for yourself.
There are plenty of individuals who did not serve for a variety of reasons who are Patriots.
Spokespersons are not “chosen”, they just happen through fate. ie. “Joe The Plumber”
We need loud aggressive people making the argument as well as the scholarly voice.
In regard to Nugent and VN, he explains it in this program as well as gun control and its
not the liberal kool-aid version you’ve apparently ingested:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjNwMOLulUQ
I take issue with individuals who have to go back 50 years in someone’s personal history
to find an item to hang them with as if anyone alive is perfect [including yourself] or they
themselves have ever made a mistake or had a lapse in judgement.
The whole “gotcha” mentality personally makes me sick. In fact, intelligent people evolve and refine their positions and thinking over time. In fact a person who thought the same at 65 years as they did at 18 years probably fits the profile of clinically retarded.

I think we can do better? Once again, who decides that Ted gets a voice?
The MSM is picking your voice for you, and they pick Ted and Alex for a reason. If you just want to tickle your own ears, and hear tough guy stuff, fine, listen to Ted. He is not helping our cause to fence sitters, or those that are just ignorant to firearms. Thus the reason I want someone that actually served our country, and did not run from it. I want someone who speaks well, and to the point. I do not want my ears tickled, I want education for the masses. Fox news can do better than Ted, so can the Blaze.
I do believe in forgiveness, but also believe there are things that brand you for life. I do not want Jane Fonda as my spokesperson for gun ownership, nor do I want Ted.
Ted’s claim to fame is not standing up for the constitution. he is a rock and roller, and that is where his fame came from.

Posted on January 10, 2013 at 8:04amGlenn Beck is losing respect quickly by attacking Alex Jones rather than supporting the fact that Alex is fighting to maintain our Constitutional rights. Glen is more focused on maintaining his millionS than fighting for the Constitution. Glenn would rather argue about Alex’s passion than the content of his remarks.
Glenn is quickly becoming a smug elitist where he concerns himself more with political decorum than the severity of the issues at hand. Glenn is like Jabba the Hut who sits their weezzing and oozing pus complianing about how the rabble rousers lack any diplomacy and political decorum as they are about to lose the greatest freedom.
Just as Nugent stated Obama and his klan are more interested in killing off babies and removing the last defense of the US populace against a complete takeover. Our founding fathers realized the power of the Constitution and thats why we have to fight for it to remain. When the 2nd goes they all go. The people should not fear their government. The government should fear the people.

If we are to win this argument we must be above reproach. I don’t want anyone coming in taking my guns, but we can’t play into their trap….

Posted on January 10, 2013 at 9:42amJodi thanks for your comments.
The armchair Patriots are demanding that we continue the political decorum that forces us to play to THEIR ( anti gunners) rules. Alex came in an swept them off the enemy their feet. He demoralized them to where they had no control over the attackl they wished to use against Alex.
I don’t care if the enemy will continue to use character attacks against me as a gunowner. Their argument is full of lies and Liberals are really Authoritarians in sheeps clothing. Genocide is their master plan. Follow history.
Glenn is now defending that we argue by their rules of decorum and discourse completly immune that we lose the information war by playing along at their pace. It’s utter NONSENSE.
The Patriots faced an overwhelming superior, better equipped and trained force. To fight the enemy at his strengths is foolish. To fight the enemy at his weakness and expose the weakness is the correct tactics.
Alex is Alex and I respect him for being passionate in defense of our liberties. I want to know where Glenn stands on the 2nd amendment. I’m unsure where he is on this important right.
We cannot be told which way we can and cannot argue our case to those who would try to enslave us. We must strive for nonviolent means at every opportunity. However did you realize that 6 big corporations own alm ost all of news and media? How can you win a fight against them by playing by the enemies rules? You cannot.

I assume you only eat meat that was hunted in the wild or not all all, right?
No fish from stocked ponds?
No chicken from Perdue or Tyson?
No milk from Dairy farms?
No beef from cattle ranches?
No bacon unless it’s from a wild boar?
All these animals are contained and slaughtered for our pleasure, and i wouldn’t have it any other way.

Posted on January 10, 2013 at 10:25am@Charley, before you shoot off at the mouth, maybe you should get your facts straight. None of the animals are caged or even fenced in and roam freely. Secondly, Ted Nugent’s Sunrize Safari’s Hunting Adventures is no different than the hundreds of other people who own, run and charge for their Hunting Adventures. Furthermore, it is apparent that you don’t hunt because here in WI, if you want to go hunting on prime hunting land that is privately owned, it usually means giving money to the owner to rent the land to hunt on it, if the owner is willing to do that.

Posted on January 10, 2013 at 8:17amBe careful who you prop up as your mouthpiece. For that same reason, do not care for Ted Nugent. During Vietnam, ted pooped his pants to prevent from getting drafted.
There are folks out there that speak well, know firearms, have used them in defense of this nation that would make a great mouthpiece. For some reason, the few conservative media outlets we do have, are not talking to these people.
I would be looking to hear from Masad Ayoob, COL Dave Grossman, retired police officers, retired military folks…..
Stop giving voice to people who make us look foolish.

Posted on January 10, 2013 at 7:40amTalk of some sort of executive order by Obama to restrict or “change” our guns laws seems to be just the up-front portion of his attempt to make us live like cows.
If you read both of the attached stories, it’s pretty clear that being a well-known weapons expert in the civilian sector is becoming very hazardous to your health. Am I reading too much into the deaths of two renowned weapons experts in just one week? Traffic accidents are one thing; but, a single bullet to the head is quite another. That death reminds me of the deaths of three openly gay members of Jeremiah Wright’s congregation between November and December 31, 2007. Oh, did I mention that the Chicago police have no leads?
As far as I’m concerned, it’s started.

This has been going on since the CFR was formed and then the Trilateral Commission and UN and NATO. Agenda 21 is happening before our eyes. Their utopia is our demise.
