The Obamas of The World ‘Don’t Want to Save Lives’: The Ted Nugent Gun Interview You’ve Been Waiting For

Ted Nugent & Peter Schiff Talk Gun Control

Not one to shy away from his support for the Second Amendment, Ted Nugent (i.e. the infamous “Motor City Madman”) during an interview on the Peter Schiff radio show Tuesday threw himself headfirst into the gun control debate.

His purpose? To argue that a loss of gun rights equals a loss of personal freedom.

“This conversation and the importance of focusing on the right to keep and bear arms really is the deciding factor in America versus the rest of the world,” Nugent said. “If the people in power — Michael Bloomberg, Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein, Eric ‘Gun-Running-Attorney-General’ Holder — are you kidding me?”

“To force American citizens into unarmed helplessness,” he added, “that’s their agenda!”

Nugent turned his attention to violent crime statistics published by the F.B.I., Scotland Yard, and the United Nations.

“Where there are more guns in citizens’ hands, not only does crime go down, not only does violent crime go down, but personal assaultive-type crimes like rape, carjacking, and home invasion — they don’t just down, Peter: They go away,” he said.

“Why would you resist that obvious opportunity for an upgrade in reduction of crime? It’s because the Pelosis and the Eric Holders and the Barack Obamas in the world: They don’t want to save lives. They don’t care about reducing crime,” he added. “They are absolutely obsessed with their hatred for firearms!”

when will people understand that american’s are not giving up their guns. not only is it a part of the constitution, but part of the fabric of american culture. the usa is a gun loving nation and the murder and death associated with it is the price that is paid for having all those guns. do all those guns cause all that murder? sure. is that fine? sure.

Every American home should have an AR15. Its the perfect tool for the American peoples militia that our founders had in mind when they wrote the second amendment.

Whether Democrat or Republican, if any legislator, State or Federal infringes or takes away any of our gun rights under the 2nd. Amendment, they will become unemployed. That is a promise. They have crossed the line when they place their jobs above the country and the Constitution.

The critical issue here is that for all the bravado, threat and offense of them commenting on this and other related stories, NO ONE would lift one finger if the 2nd Amendment were entirely repealed and the firearms confiscated.

Everyone would quietly submit, hoping someone else resists; not wanting to be thought of as an “anti-government nut”.

There will be no resistance and no “civil war”; albeit, Jefferson’s assertion “…it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it” is the only path remaining.

Half of the country have tried the “ballot box” for decades and the inefficacy is evident: the Constitution is mitigated weekly by executive orders and a congress that acts like royalty hiding theft among the pages of bills against which the people have no recourse.

Whether progressive or conservative, republican or democrat, anti-gun or pro-gun; no one in the U.S. will sacrifice cable television, microwave dinners, football season or the comfort of warm beds and homes to do more than whine.

Hundreds of Comments of complaint to a news article do nothing, coming together as a unified citizenry does but… I doubt that will happen.

I think many of us share your exact same sentiments. As another poster put it, we’re just a bunch of virtual personas banging on the keyboard. Like many of you, I’m ready, willing, and able to follow that next “George Washington”, that great American Patriot, who will lead us back to restoring the Constitution and our inalienable rights given to us by God. Unfortunately, I know I’m not that leader, just as you do. So we’re still waiting…. Until them, we do what we can. We contribute to our cause in our own small way.

We surrendered our parental responcibilities to the Schools and Government. We stand in fear of Government punishment for failure to comply. Now we stand arround looking like we don’t know what went wrong. We have to wake up and take back control of our lives from The Government and put the Government in it’s place. If we don’t; we might as well bend over and spread our you know whats.

people who favor gun control do not object to guns in the hands of the military. They do not object to guns in the hands of police. They do not object to guns in the hands of law abiding citizens… Oh, yeah, they do. Do they? People usually do not fear inanimate objects. What they fear is not guns, but how guns are used by some people.

Guns are not what they fear, but what they link to fear. They fear guns being used to assault and murder people. Hey! Aren’t those actions illegal? If their real fear is guns being used in crimes, they fear guns in the hands of criminals, right? So, why not focus on that? Answer: Guns ARE inanimate objects and thus easier to control than human beings who have already shown that they are willing to break any laws they pass. This falls under the grouping : “I must do SOMETHING” rather than a reasoned approach involving actual crime statistics and a targeted approach to the real problem.

Legal gun owners are not criminals itching to shoot kids, and have no intention of killing you…. (unless you try to kill them). Guns lawfully owned are in the hands of non-criminals, by definition. As such, gun owners are assumed to be people who respect and obey the law. Only people who obey laws can be coerced by them. They are not the problem, but it is possible that you can coerce them into obedience. Therefore you feel that you have accomplished SOMETHING.

    Ineffectiveness 101.

Speaking of mental health, I think the entire lot of Chicago radicals need some serious time in mental rehab. From the Bill Ayers mentality to Obama ( to mention but a few of this group ) all have daddy issues, power issues, and anger issues. Unfortunately, these types all gravitated to politics ( and were attracted to one another ) where they are inflicting their issues on the entire country rather than getting the mental help they need. Anger, Revenge, Power , and Control are not signs of a healthy mental condition.

Which is exactly why, after being forced to house the king’ s armed soldiers , our founders insisted on a citizenry able to bear arms. DO NOT FORGET why. The Great Deceivers, the Chicago radicals, will spin and twist this rationale. That is ” 99%” of what our Chicago radicals do .

Appreciated the incident of the rabid bobcat which wasn’t able to avoid escape and spreading its rabies due to a Smith and Wesson. Am sure the Lefty Lap Dog media will never mention these cases because it is time for the Chicago radical Democrats to stage another Trial By Media . This time Gun Ownership is their target. Big Brother/ totalitarian governments do NOT allow their “subjects” to be armed. That presents a danger to Big Brother’s power . And it is all about power and control.

The Obama radicals of the world are The Great Avengers. They, just like his angry daddy, are all about punishing Western capitalism ( and all of western culture ) for being more advanced, and thus able to rule , their less advanced peoples . A story as old as time : revenge . But the Great Avengers now call it ” social justice.” They are still dysfunctional and now filled with hate and more weaponry to fuel that resentment. Humanity might be in for another run of the Dark Ages…..

This whole episode is just so stupid but those on the left have to feel good that they are doing something. It doesn’t matter that it’s not going to work and by the governments own actions in the fast and furious debacle, it’s clear, that tryimng to control guns isn’t going to solve anything. People who use the guns are the problem and I say if Obama and all those like Biden want the guns to go away, then today, everyone of the politicans, people of wealth and their body guards, all police officers and anyone else who has a gun for personal safety, gives them up. No ifs and or buts, just take the lead and do what you want everyone else to do, if not then please be quiet.

Well, you wouldn’t answer it, so I’ll answer it for you – In 1978, Nugent began a relationship with seventeen-year-old Hawaii native Pele Massa.

Now, compare that to one of your Marxist heroes – Woody Allen, his affair with his STEP-DAUGHTER Soon-Yi who was barely out of puberty, and the way that your illustrative voices for Obammy (the media) treat the two.

Hitler took all the guns before he removed everyone from their homes and confiscated their goods then killed the majority of them with great suffering and starvation before he finally ordered them to be burned in ovens. Don’t agree? DIG DEEPER, find out, don’t be a fool. Taking guns from those who obey the law is only the governments way of removing your right to defend yourself and their need to put you into slavery, providing them with the most power over all EXCEPT of course, the criminals who will always get guns and whatsoever they need………..but it won’t be hard for them when our right to protect ourselves and our family will be gone. Hope you have some other way of protecting yourself, because the gov won’t do it and forget the police, there won’t be money left to have a police force. Maybe you can hide?

Executive Orders are orders to execute law. The president does not have the power to create laws only congress does. The only thing he can do is order someone else to do something with and EO. Congress can then de-fund whatever he is trying to do.

Since Obama and Biden and Peirs Morgan want gun control so badly why don’t we start with eliminating gun imports. There were more than 2 million firearms imported into the US in 2010.Either stop importing or TAX them so much that Americans won’t be able to afford them. This would hurt the economies of places like Brazil, Austria, Italy, Germany and Croatia themost, but it would have an effect of the UK also. Americans would also get to enjoy weapons made in America.
So I challange Piers Morgan to take up the cause of eliminating weapons imports into our country, and leave our constitution alone.
