The Obamas of The World ‘Don’t Want to Save Lives’: The Ted Nugent Gun Interview You’ve Been Waiting For

Ted Nugent & Peter Schiff Talk Gun Control

Not one to shy away from his support for the Second Amendment, Ted Nugent (i.e. the infamous “Motor City Madman”) during an interview on the Peter Schiff radio show Tuesday threw himself headfirst into the gun control debate.

His purpose? To argue that a loss of gun rights equals a loss of personal freedom.

“This conversation and the importance of focusing on the right to keep and bear arms really is the deciding factor in America versus the rest of the world,” Nugent said. “If the people in power — Michael Bloomberg, Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein, Eric ‘Gun-Running-Attorney-General’ Holder — are you kidding me?”

“To force American citizens into unarmed helplessness,” he added, “that’s their agenda!”

Nugent turned his attention to violent crime statistics published by the F.B.I., Scotland Yard, and the United Nations.

“Where there are more guns in citizens’ hands, not only does crime go down, not only does violent crime go down, but personal assaultive-type crimes like rape, carjacking, and home invasion — they don’t just down, Peter: They go away,” he said.

“Why would you resist that obvious opportunity for an upgrade in reduction of crime? It’s because the Pelosis and the Eric Holders and the Barack Obamas in the world: They don’t want to save lives. They don’t care about reducing crime,” he added. “They are absolutely obsessed with their hatred for firearms!”

I think it’s refreshing to hear someone vent who feels as I do about this mess. Mr. Nugent… he speaks for me as I would peak for myself. …And clearly, a rational argument against an un-rational cabal of Hoplophobic bureaucrats is gains nothing.

Also, Join the NAGR – National Association for Gun Rights. They are working hard to preserve our 2nd Amendment too. They have the benefit of being just under the MSM radar thus avoiding media vilification.

To Brother Winston Smith – Blaming Ted Nugent for Romney’s fail because he didn’t support Ron Paul? That’s so absurd. While there were things about Ron Paul that are sensible and likable, he is too radical for Americans to feel comfortable about making him President. There are many reasons Obama won including corruption but Ted Nugents’ support for Romney was not one of them.

Ted said, “They are absolutely obsessed with their hatred for firearms!” No, that’s not right. The LOVE firearms in the hands of tyrants like Fidel Castro. What they hate is conservative Christians, that happen to possess them. This is about hate for a group of people that disagree with their left-wing communist agenda, not a hate for firearms. For without firearms, they have no power to tyrannize the population like their buddy Fidel has done with his guns for decades. WHAT HYPOCRISY!

A young girl – she was 17. Which is over-the-hill when compared to the darling of the media – Woody Allen, and his step-daughter (STEP DAUGHTER!) Soon-Yi, who, according to Mia Farrow, was “abused” by Woody. Even the judge said his relation to Soon-Yi was disgusting.

But hey, it’s New York, land of the Don’t do as I do, do as I say politician.

Personally I refuse to try and downplay anyones defense of the 2nd Ammendment…Ted has every right to air his opinion and should deliver it however he chooses.
Ted is an American and his opinion is just as valid an anyones.
What the anti-gun left thinks is less important to me everyday…I am sick to death of these weenies and from now on, I don’t give a rats’ a** what they think. I plan to keep my guns…but they are more than welcome to come try and take them. God Bless America.

    @RangerSkippy

You are just PLAIN WRONG to want to disparage Nugent at this stage in the game. This battle is ENGAGED. We do not have the luxury of picking and choosing who our spokes-holes are when the enemy is at the door. You get as many people as you can against the door, while you coordinate your counter-attack.

As was said in our branch of the military – you either lead, follow, or get the h3ll out of the way!

I agree w/Glen on many things, not this time. The human body can go roughly 2 wks. w/out food, half that w/out water. People go en-masse to the “camps” many will die w/in weeks. Stalin, lenin, mao, starved almost 100 million in a short period of time. Also, if they know you’re unarmed, they’ll shoot you post-haste. Learned about much more about ayres than I ever knew thru Glen’s shows, he said what he’d do, if he was in a position of power, to those they couldn’t “re-educate”, 20 or more million dead, same way the chinese did it, didn’t he say.

Moscow fell, for example, not from a lack of weapons to defend it, but from the lying guile of the Reds. Ten thousand Reds took Moscow and were opposed only by some few hundreds of officer cadets and their instructors. Even then the battle was fierce and losses high. However, in the city alone, at that time, lived over 30,000 military officers (both active and retired), all with their own issued weapons and ammunition, plus tens of thousands of other citizens who were armed. The Soviets promised to leave them all alone if they did not intervene. They did not and for that were asked afterwards to come register themselves and their weapons: where they were promptly shot.

. Do not be fooled by a belief that progressives, leftists hate guns. Oh, no, they do not. What they hate is guns in the hands of those who are not marching in lock step of their ideology. They hate guns in the hands of those who think for themselves and do not obey without question. They hate guns in those whom they have slated for a barrel to the back of the ear.

So, do not fall for the false promises and do not extinguish the light that is left to allow humanity a measure of self respect.

Didn’t the russian navy’s defeat to the japanese in 1905 help to foster an anti-czarist fervor, and all of the lies the bolsheviks told to the populace, what they could for them? History’s kind of repeating.

Obama was elected by unions what are the police departments of the country doing about guns? I don’t like guns because more guns in the hands of free citizens means fewer police needed, means less money to bribe Obama and democrats each election cycle, means fewer police in America and fewer unionists! Pravda said today “Do not give up your guns, Americans!” they know what Stalin, Mao and Obama have and will do to an unarmed citizenry. They they had guns to defend against Putin.

While they have the right hand push gun control, keep an eye on the left hand. They are likely using this controversy to further destroy our republic while everyone is focused on stopping gun control. At some point we need to fight fire with fire…..

Of course 0bama isn’t interested in reducing deaths. If he was, he would do something about the extremely high murder rates in Chicago, Detroit, Chicago, Oakland, Newark, St Louis, etc. He will not even mention it. Would 1 of you 0bamabots tell me why he ignores this like you ignore an ugly woman in an elevator? He hates this so much I’m afraid he is going to pay off or kill the statistics takers.
