S.E. Cupp Goes Off on Eric Holder for Wanting to Shame Gun Owners: ‘It Makes My Blood Boil’

Attorney General Eric Holder made headlines this week after it was discovered that he once said gun owners should be “shamed” into giving up their firearms.

And TheBlaze’s S.E. Cupp was not impressed with his remarks.

“I cannot tell you how offended I am to hear Eric Holder, or anyone, talking about shaming gun owners,” Cupp said during a Thursday broadcast of “Real News” on Blaze TV. “I feel it inside. It makes my blood boil, because it so fundamentally misunderstands the Second Amendment.”

“The idea that he would paint me with the same brush as some criminal that he’s talking about is so offensive, but that is so common because most people who talk about gun control don’t distinguish,” she added.

“They are making law abiding gun owners defend their rights, which are already on the books.”

Her comments came after remarks made by The Blaze’s National Security editor Buck Sexton and conservative columnist Will Cain.

“It’s worth understanding what the other side wants here,” said Sexton. “At some point, they want to change the way people think about guns. That may take time. That may be a process. But the end of that process is not having people have guns.”

  Alex Jones may or may not be a “real conservative”, but his insane rants harm the issue no matter how much people don’t want that to be so. There are only 2 ways to win this fight: (1) take up arms and replace the government, or (2) get enough people on your side to make it known to the government that we demand to retain our rights as they were originally envisioned.
  
  Perhaps you think number 1 is a better choice, but for myself and my family, number 2 makes the most sense. Of number 2 is not obtainable, then we can go to number 1 and rightly so, but we first must exhaust all other avenues.
  
  I have stated here many times that it’s time for Constitutionalists (or whatever flavour you wish to be categorized with) to stop being so nice and polite because our collective a55e5 are getting kicked, and I stand by that. But we have to also be smart in how we pick our fights. Anyone sitting on the fence on the gun issue, anyone not 100% understanding our stance, anyone even slightly leaning left on this issue, will only be won over with common sense, facts, and non-ranting statements.
  
  With Piers Morgan, for example, Larry Pratt did a great job. The marine who wrote Feinstein a letter did a great job. And the Breitbart reporter did a great job. All three of them, fortunately, helped ‘fix’ what Alex Jones did right prior to these people.

  To understand Obama’s positon on gun ownership, Google Morio Billings (perp), and Hale DeMar (the victim, and the two votes taken by the Illinois Senate on SB2165 (3/04- 11/04).
  The first vote passed (38y-20n) to allow citizens to protect themselves in the event of a home invasion.
  
  Rod Blagojevich vetoed the bill, but on Nov. 9, 2004, the Ill. senate voted 40-18 to override Blago’s veto.
  
  Who voted “nay” to not allow citizens to protect themselves in THEIR OWN HOME on both occasions?

  We are going to have to agree to disagree. I watched the same segment with the Shapiro guy and I saw him winning, not Morgan. As to what you said above that I quoted you on, I know people sitting on the fence and on the left. I’ve spoke with some of them since the Jones segment. Not a single one of them looked into pharms, false-flags or anything else Jones ranted about. His rants made them totally disregard anything he had to say because of his actions. That is my point, brother, we need to win people to our side, not turn them away. Jones turned them away. I do not know which side Jones is truly on … he has a history of jumping to conclusions and going off on crazy rants at times. He’s not new to the scene … he’s been around for quite a few years and many people do wonder what side he’s truly on.

  Alex Jones gets a little excited sometimes, but so does Glen. We should all be thankful that Glen can express Jones’ ideas in a calmer fashion, and one that more Americans can except.   Clearly the MSM is President Obama’s pocket. Have you noticed that the MSM never questions the current administration and instead always bows down and worships him? Yeah, I have too.   It makes me sad to see so many people on here arguing over specifics when we should all be on the same side of the bigger picture. BrotherWinstonSmith, you need to seriously chill out. Guess what, not everyone agrees with you 100% and you berating them isn’t going to convince them you’re right. Same with Alex Jones. He has a lot of good points but acting belligerent puts people off. You see it as passion but those not already on his side see it as anger and insanity. No matter how solid his ideals are, he needs an audience that will listen and he can’t just stick with the one he already has. You may think Alex’s side is growing and “winning” but the only side really winning right now is the progressive left. Infighting only helps them. Besides which, nobody here is even focusing on the real issue and what would actually resolve all this “gun grabbing” nonsense and all attempts to ban or even regulate firearms. I don’t even hear Beck, Jones, or anyone else even mentioning it. Please, everyone, go look up the National Guard Act of 1903. It is the key to unraveling the government’s excessive power, putting the power back in the hands of the people, and ending every attempt to take away firearms. You’ll need to read it and study it out but this law needs to be repealed. It is of the utmost importance.   The Constitution cannot protect us against unlawful attacks on our freedom – Do not forget that less than 9 months ago our Supreme Court ruled that Obama-Tax-Care was Constitutional and it was a Republican appointed judge that forced this law into our lives and into our pocketbooks. The Constitution will be used by the Courts to expand & reinterpret the 2nd Amendment just like they did with the Obama-Tax-Care nonsense.
  
  We cannot depend on the courts or the Constitution. We must defeat the Marxist, change the narrative of the MSM and never stop the campaign for conservative policies.
  
  Time to start the next Presidential campaign right now. It is time to identify a candidate we can support and start getting our message out right now. Skip the primary – what a huge waste of time and money –

  I disagree. The criminals are not supposed to have guns period! When my guns become outlawed I will become an outlaw. This is my “line in the sand”, I will never submit to any additional background checks or fingerprinting regardless of what laws they pass. If the so called assault rifle is banned there is no second amendment period! If you think it will stop there you are wrong, this is a total confiscation of guns not just assault rifles! If we don’t stand together on this issue and fight then ask yourselves what will we stand together on?

  My Natural (God given)Right to defend myself with firearms is reaffirmed in the Constitution of the United States. As that being the case, you are expressly forbidden form asking “WHY” it just “IS!” Now if 3/4 of the States and 2/3 of Congress wish to change that, they can, but Congress or the President has no power to do it by fiat. Put bluntly, “Because it is a Right, you may not legislatively revoke it.”

I refuse to be shamed for exercising my rights. I am a responsible tax paying citizen and DEMAND respect from the government officials that the people (foolishly in this case) hired to manage the country’s administrative affairs. I may be subject to the government’s laws but I am not a subject of the government and make no mistake about it, I will never behave as if I am.

when will the people wake up..the sandyhook was just a drill and a good drill.. notice the media has stopped all contact and follow up on this story… wheres the final reports .why are there no more interviews .. the drill is over.. and the american people bought it.someone needs to get to newton and find these people.. i bet.. you cant find any of them.. it was only a drill.. sold to the people and being used to take away semi auto weapons. god help us all how stupid can you be..

  I know the ‘drill’ scenario sounds crazy but the more I read about this incident,…all does not seem to be in order. Too much fakery, too much hidden from the public,….something is not right. I think some are all of this was orchestrated. Would obama kill some kids to push his agenda. You da*n right he would.

Eric Holder is a threat to American liberty and security. He provided false testimony under oath to congress. He dismissed the New Black Panther Voter Intimidation Case (attacks were vicious…victim’s skull fractured). He corrupted voter rolls across the United States. Holder was a leftist activist attorney who went out of his way to help Islamic terrorists especially during the Bush administration. He hired 113 fully committed leftists to the ranks of DOJ Attorneys. He has a radical open borders policy and immediately moved against Arizona, South Carolina, & Alabama when they tried to deal with illegal immigration. He gave enemy combatants (terrorists) Miranda Rights. Holder forever attacks religious liberty. He totally ignores Supreme Court Precedent & the Constitution. Holder’s Fast & Furious killed over 300 Latino citizens just because he wanted to make guns in America look bad and pass anti gun legislation. Cupp is not alone. We are all sick of the Obama criminals inside Washington DC.

  A condition for negotiating a rise the debt-ceiling (which I don’t think we should do) should be the firing of Holder. He is still held in contempt. Actually … wait, Holder belongs in jail. But then so do Pelosi,Reid and Boehner.

  Not a single Democrat nor Republican has tried to get something seriously done with Holder and his (what I believe) illegal actions, let alone Obama’s power grabs that continue to this day. No one … nada, nil, zilch. Yet, many here, if not most, will once again in 2014 and 2016 vote for a Dem or a Rep … doing that insane thing of doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome.

  The government has gotten so big and powerful, the only way to get rid of people in it is for citizens to physically throw them out. For that to happen there would have to be a huge militia and it would be terribly bloody, because Obama and Holder would call in the UN. The UN would bring in the armed forces of every country that hates us. Obama and the UN want a one world government anyway, so that fits right into their plan. The Constitution and the freedom it provides is worth it though.

  Holder gave thousands of assault rifles to Mexican Drug Lord Army with the understanding that they be used to kill American. When they kill American, then Obama could blame it gun stores and assault rifles just like they are doing now. I think America is going to wake up at some point in time and get back on track. We have to get the Senate out of Democrat hands while holding the majority in the House. If the house goes to the Dems in 2014 we will have to call each other comrade and go deer hunting with rocks.

  America did not wake up over the last four years and reinstalled the dictator! What makes anyone believe this country can wake up? First of all the people are not the same people they were just some 30 short years ago. We’ve become a new and different people! A people with no beliefs in anything except self, narcissists abound everywhere, immoral behavour, murder and mayhem. Children now murdering each other over perceived slights and words they don’t want to hear. You don’t wake up from this, you must go through the cleansing fire of truth. The stark reality of life itself, everything stripped away down to the bare bones and refreshed and renewed as it always has been done.
  
  We don’t have time to wake up and see this renewal, this will be the last time because when America goes down the free world goes dark. Get ready!

I say,if you own guns,go to your local gun range//store,and gather like minded people together, who are willing to stand and fight the govt,those who are willing to die, for what is theirs,their rights.If we the people do not come together,with one supporting all, and all supporting the one,then obama wins, and America as we know//knew it, will be lost forever.A nice little “million armed man march” on DC to oust the criminals there,is a place to start…..

I am not ashame I have a gun and you shouldn’t be either. It is as American as apple-pie. The gun has protected Americans for 200 years. The gun owners of this country keep this country free. Without them (us) the federal government would have enslaved all of us by now. They would take everything you owned and given it to the underserving a lot quicker and more thoroughly than they have now. Obama is a tyrant. He is not an American. HIs “change” is called socialism. We cannot allow him to take guns or ammunition nor register our guns.

  the problem is…holder is NOT enforcing the laws we have on the books. His job is to protect our rights…not change then. How are we to sit on a jury and shame him if he won’t bring charges? as in the black panther case. How are we to charge him with anything if he lies to congress and has the potus backing him? Who is going to arest him? All law enforcement, at some point works for him. In a perfect world {like the one our founders had in mind}, you would be right. We would have recourse to end this. There is NO recourse on this, they have decided this is how it’s going to be and they will stop at nothing to get it.
  This, however, is the one sitution the founders warned everyone about in all their writings about the constitution. An out of control government, which is exactly what we have, is to be stopped at any cost. That’s why they put in the second ammendment.
