James Yeager, CEO of Tactical Response, a firearms and tactical training company, is catching heat after he posted a fiery video about gun control. In it, he decried the Obama administration’s efforts to crack down on weapons and made a shocking proclamation about efforts to curb firearms, pledging, “If it goes one inch further, I’m going to start killing people.”

The controversial clip was purportedly published on his YouTube and Facebook pages on Jan. 9, but according to Raw Story, it was later removed and replaced with a tamed-down version.

In the original video, he started by admitting that he’s “kind of mad.” Then, he launched into a diatribe about Vice President Joe Biden’s recent claim that President Barack Obama may rely upon executive orders to tackle the issue.

“Vice President Biden is asking the president to bypass Congress and use executive privilege, executive order to ban assault rifles and to impose stricter gun control,” said Yeager. “F**k that.”

And he wasn’t done there. The Tactical Response leader said that such actions on behalf of the Obama administration would “spark a civil war” and that he would be “glad to fire the first shot.”

“I’m not putting up with it. You shouldn’t put up with it,” he continued. “And I need all you patriots to start thinking about what you’re going to do, load your damn mags, make sure your rifle’s clean, pack a backpack with some food in it and get ready to fight.”

From there, his comments only intensified. After pledging that he wouldn’t put up with increased gun control initiatives being advocated by the federal government of late, Yeager pledged — to the extreme – to defend his right to firearms.

“I’m not letting my country be ruled by a dictator. I’m not letting anybody take my guns!,” he added. “If it goes one inch further, I’m going to start killing people.”

Despite being removed and replaced with an edited version, some YouTube users are still sharing the original video file. You can watch it, below (caution: language):

In a separate clip published on Thursday, Yeager addressed the controversy caused by the initial commentary. He said that he was mad and that he probably allowed his mouth “to overrun” his “logic.” However, he, at moments, appeared somewhat unapologetic.

“I don’t retract any of my statements,” he said, doubling down on his original video.

From there, he launched into a tirade against individuals who are criticizing him, while noting that he doesn’t “condone anybody doing anything rash” at this juncture. He also demanded that those who nabbed his original clip and re-uploaded it to YouTube, remove the video, as he claims it is his property.

  I do get, though, that the liberals intentionally troll in the hopes that someone “on our side” (allegedly ;)) will lose their cool and speak out (or even act out) in temper.
  
  I dunno, it just makes me think of things like the civil war or really any historical war, where despite the utter stupidity of it ever being necessary, it happens. It horrifies me as a logician; I love to hope that humanity can grow up and use reason and love to resolve our differences. But at the same time, this is the world I live in and I have to face facts, yanno?
  
  Another thing that terrifies me is that if we all just quietly let them take away the law-abiding citizens guns or even most of them, everything he predicted here WILL happen, as it’s happened so often in history.
  
  Sigh. There’s just no good solution here other than peaceful resolve, I guess.

  If what this man is saying is a “terroristic threat”, then call me a terrorist because I have said and will continue to say that as soon as one federal or state bureaucrat comes to a private citizen’s home to confiscate their weapons, my only hope is that they send the single men first because I don’t want to make a widow or orphan. I would proudly KILL a fellow human being who is actively and unabashedly taking away the rights of myself or any other Citizen of my nation. But, then again, I’m a Marine and I did take that oath to defend the Constitution from ALL enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC.

  I agree. He’s saying what we’re all thinking. But we’re all thinking it instead of saying it because when that time comes- you shoot, you don’t talk. Perhaps it’s not prudent on his part, because he’s putting his life in jeopardy, but make no mistake- all of our lives are in jeopardy. He just chose to put his out there first. I have no problem with that, if he can deal with it- good.
  
  At this point we’re just playing semantics before the coming Civil War. The only thing I’m afraid of when the spark is lit, is what I’ll become in the process. War is destructive on all sides. But some people are colder and better at it than others. If I were the first BATFE or Contractor agents on the scene for a gun confiscation, I would crap myself. You won’t just be confiscating Joe Schmo’s guns. He gets the word out and you will be fighting a block, city, then county war.

  It give the 4th Branch of Government; The People the ability to vote NEY.
  
  So we are going to have a Gun Ban and no term limits for the President and the other branches of government.
  
  The only one who has term limits is the Executive branch, all else can be reelected for life. The SCOTUS is in for life. If they do away with the 22 Amendment and a Gun Ban what then.

  Why can’t these people just leave us alone, again the person is the problem not the gun, the constitution gives us these protections without question, but always going after the founders papers they knew this type of thing would happen. Don’t understand what has got in the heads of our young people, maybe we should go back to 18 years old to vote? These schools that are teaching our kids that the founders did not mean what they said, teaching them they can’t use the words God in the class room, cannot have a prayer before a game or activity, we still pray and sign national anthem before every event, but this is Texas, maybe we ought to break off and be our own country with people like Obama and Biden. Do you not understand that I will get out of prison. While I would not award the left any measure of leverage by offering any comment not reflecting reason and prudence (it may make me feel better, and I keep such outbursts to myself, it never helps and the issues facing one before such an outburst are still there when one’s rant ends… so best use that energy in a more productive way…); however, I understand this man’s frustration. He is a professional in an industry devoted to teaching people the safe and responsible use of firearms to protect their own lives and the lives of others.

After decades of such work and devotion to safety and responsibility, he and all gun owners are being attacked and vilified as aggressively as small business people, professional operating private practices and firms were throughout the last four years and more – dating back to Obama’s first campaign.

Mr. Yeager is simply reflecting his deep frustration and concern about how our Constitution, Bill of Rights and the Separations of Power are being systematically destroyed by a man that appears determined to destroy our Republic and replace it with Marxist oligarchy, permanently ruled by himself.

Mr. Yeager is not alone. Millions of Americans are equally concerned and energized.

More than anything, as An Army Retiree and small business founder and owner, my heart is broken. Cowardly, I have late stage cancer and will likely not survive to see our nation’s final fall. That does nothing to ease my terrible fear for my kids and grand

  I trust Mr. Yeager far more than I trust this administration and what he said in moment of frustration is far less disturbing to me, than Obama’s on mike statement to the former Russian president to tell Vladamir (Putin) that he will have more flexibility after his election. Why doesn’t the media follow up on what he meant there? And why does the media and the president call the Ft. Hood massacre an incident of workplace violence rather that the terroristic treasonistic murder that it is? I do not understand.

Just take Obama for his own words, “we are only days away from the fundamental transformation of America”. He is going to push us till we snap, it is sad that that may happen and even more sadly is that this is exactly what he wants.

Obama was Un American from birth, childhood, young adulthood, And now as a lame duck he will show his true colors. Many of us about 48% of the people were never color blind to begin with.

Fast and Furious was a government covert plan to take away the 2 amendment and confiscate guns.
However, it was discovered and exposed. Brian Kelly and the hundreds killed from the guns sold
illegally to the drug carte to the left that was just collateral damage. The school massacre at Newtown was a god send to the left. Never let a crisis go to waste. Oh how the left feigned horror of the children’s death openly, while giving themselves high fives in private. Now is their opportunity
to take away guns from law abiding citizens by raping the 2nd amendment. For the left this isn’t

I heard Beck say it last night. We can’t shoot back. We must passively resist, not comply, when they come for our guns. Step outside, close and lock the doors, hold out your wrists, and say “I will not comply. Arrest me.” If we all do that, whether or not we own firearms, we will borrow a page from Cloward & Piven and overwhelm their “system” and then bring it down. Then again, just shoot them.   As Sheriff Joe has demonstrated, there is no limit – you simply erect tents and house the prisoners there.
  You will not overwhelm the system. The system will expand to accommodate you.

Therefore I will not cooperate in the least with any Presidential order to turn guns or ammo in. Remember, there are many more of us then there are people he under his command.
