James Yeager, CEO of Tactical Response, a firearms and tactical training company, is catching heat after he posted a fiery video about gun control. In it, he decried the Obama administration’s efforts to crack down on weapons and made a shocking proclamation about efforts to curb firearms, pledging, “If it goes one inch further, I’m going to start killing people.”
The controversial clip was purportedly published on his YouTube and Facebook pages on Jan. 9, but according to Raw Story, it was later removed and replaced with a tamed-down version.
In the original video, he started by admitting that he’s “kind of mad.” Then, he launched into a diatribe about Vice President Joe Biden’s recent claim that President Barack Obama may rely upon executive orders to tackle the issue.
“Vice President Biden is asking the president to bypass Congress and use executive privilege, executive order to ban assault rifles and to impose stricter gun control,” said Yeager. “F**k that.”
And he wasn’t done there. The Tactical Response leader said that such actions on behalf of the Obama administration would “spark a civil war” and that he would be “glad to fire the first shot.”

“I’m not putting up with it. You shouldn’t put up with it,” he continued. “And I need all you patriots to start thinking about what you’re going to do, load your damn mags, make sure your rifle’s clean, pack a backpack with some food in it and get ready to fight.”
From there, his comments only intensified. After pledging that he wouldn’t put up with increased gun control initiatives being advocated by the federal government of late, Yeager pledged — to the extreme – to defend his right to firearms.
“I’m not letting my country be ruled by a dictator. I’m not letting anybody take my guns!,” he added. “If it goes one inch further, I’m going to start killing people.”
Despite being removed and replaced with an edited version, some YouTube users are still sharing the original video file. You can watch it, below (caution: language):

In a separate clip published on Thursday, Yeager addressed the controversy caused by the initial commentary. He said that he was mad and that he probably allowed his mouth “to overrun” his “logic.” However, he, at moments, appeared somewhat unapologetic.
“I don’t retract any of my statements,” he said, doubling down on his original video.
From there, he launched into a tirade against individuals who are criticizing him, while noting that he doesn’t “condone anybody doing anything rash” at this juncture. He also demanded that those who nabbed his original clip and re-uploaded it to YouTube, remove the video, as he claims it is his property.

This administration is anti-capitalist, and anti-American. They are spending the country into economic collapse, they are cutting the military while borrowing billions of dollars from our grandchildren to send tanks and submarines and weapons to the armies of Lebanon and Egypt, they have made it law that an American can be imprisoned indefinitely without trial. Now they want your guns.
I’m not saying I agree with James Yeager that it’s time to go out and start killing, but this government is a perfect example of why the founding fathers made the 2nd amendment, and thank God for people like James Yeager who are willing to die for it.
Glen Becks fluffy little idea about “overrunning the system” by peaceful arrest is not very smart. Maybe he thinks it is, as he dreams it up inside his cute little studio, but it isn’t. What if they let you go home, but when you get there, your door has been kicked in (by the same people who arrested you) and all your guns are gone. Now what are you going to do?

I wouldn’t follow anyone who can’t speak a sentence without using the “F” word, because that demonstrates a lack of self control. He might be a good soldier, but not a good leader.

Posted on January 11, 2013 at 9:54amI’m with LKETCHUM on this.. Prudence is the important thing here. The left would love to portray us as trigger happy gun weilding anti government loons. It is important to not be too reactionary. Even though we outnumber government goons more than 10 to 1 (even more when you consider that many in our military are actually patriots and realize their oath to the Constitution). But tactics with the military and government are more strategic than tactical. If their is an uprising in one area, their would undoubtedly be an overwhelming response to any attempted uprising and would demoralize patriots to some degree (piss others off). It is important to organize with other like minded patriots and think more strategically. The big picture of the machine you face is more than just OUR military. It is also the other nations and NATO who will stand with the government and NOT the American people. Thinking strategically may avoid violence, remove the crooks from government and shed light on corruption. If restoration of the constitution is the goal then I am with you. But we should also think about prosecution of the individuals who have subverted the law and committed treason. Restoration of personal and property rights should be paramount, along with an end to an immoral tax code that is Constitutionally illegal.

The government is spending the country into an absolute economic collapse, they are using money they are borrowing from your children and your grandchildren to buy tanks and military equipment to countries like Egypt and Lebanon, they are starting to have drones flying over north American skies, the NDAA authorizes the government to indefinitely detain an American citizen WITHOUT a trial or even charging them with anything, they are attacking capitalism, etc., etc., etc.
Now they are coming for your guns.
This is the government that the founding fathers made the 2nd amendment to protect against. The Obama administration has pissed on the constitution and now they want your guns. I’m not suggesting anyone do anything like “start killing people” as James Yeager said, but do you not realize that THAT was what the 2nd amendment is technically for. A gun doesn’t do any good if it’s in the safe doing nothing. If I’m being frank, the 2nd amendment exists to protect the American people’s right to start killing people if it’s necessary. Don’t you get it? That’s the whole idea of the 2nd amendment. To kill people if it’s necessary to take back the country. So even though I doubt America is at that point right now, today……..it could be there very soon.

The studies show that first person shooter type games have actually increased target accuracy in people, especially kids. He talked of a 3rd grade student, no gun in the house, stole a neighbors pistol and two clips. Practiced in a field that night, he sneaked out after the family went to sleep. He went to school the next day and fired 10 rounds at his classmates as they sat in a circle, 8 kills 5 by headshot.
Those under 25 actually are able to squeeze the trigger and are damn good at it.. the whole premise of the study was to show that those under 25 view killing as “points” and “victory” in the game, not death of people.
He said the video games teach the same practices that LEO and Military worldwide teach, automatic response. Your muscle memory takes over when you see the target, even if that target is a child. Point, shot. No thought. It is who we get our soldiers over the innate fear of killing another human being. Shot the man shaped target, over and over and over until it is just a target, not a person anymore.
I have always known that video games of any type build hand-eye coordination, but these studies took it to new levels with violent shooting games.
Makes you think, I know I get butterflies just thinking about pulling that trigger but I believe I will if it comes to it. Nobody knows till it happens.

I don’t think our military can stomach killing their own people. When the USSR’s economy collaped the military stepped in temporarily. That’s more likely, here. BHO will gone by then.

If anyone is familiar with Yeager’s youtube channel, then they know he is a hot-head who regularly tries to be controversial and somewhat inflammatory just to drive traffic to his site. It’s like he lives to make videos saying things that will get people into a tizzy, just so he can follow up the video with another flame video about how the critics and “haters” are only making him famous. He does have some solid perspectives on guns though.

The one thing that would qualify the most though is having a secret meeting and deciding it’s ok to kill an American citizen without trial, denying him his rights under the constitution, that’s the big thing.

Didn’t you ever learn about the American government in, like, middle school?

It’s about some Tea Party Hatriot deciding he was “start killing people” without a trial. And did you notice that almost every poster was cool with that?

This is about life….my life…your life…Liberty….If they are ballsy enough to come after the 2nd amendment, you know they will have no issue coming after all the other rights…I thought for sure the 1st amendment would get offed well before the 2nd…..I know the 1st has taken a big beating though.

Thank God we live in a free and mighty country where we aren’t afraid of evildoers because of the guts and bravery of our Federal, State and Local Governments that we so willingly pay our taxes to have them to protect us.
