(TheBlaze/AP) — The teenage actor Angus T. Jones is expected back at “Two and a Half Men” next week, with CBS publicly accepting his apology for calling the popular comedy “filth” and “very inappropriate” in a YouTube video about his Christian faith.
“We move on,” CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler said on Saturday. After a break for the holidays, actors on “Two and a Half Men” are about to begin rehearsals for new episodes.
Jones, 19, plays the “half” in the popular comedy show, portraying actor Jon Cryer’s son.
The young star, who reportedly makes $350,000 an episode, earlier said he was sorry if his remarks showed an indifference to his colleagues or a lack of appreciation for the opportunity. He did not, however, publicly change his evaluation of the comedy, which is heavy on sexual jokes and innuendo.
Tassler indicated she was giving Jones some slack for his age, saying her own 24-year-old son said some things between 19 and 24 that she wished he hadn’t.
“The bottom line is cooler heads prevailed,” she remarked. “He has been a beloved member of that cast for years and years and years and he issued a public apology. At the end of the day, they want him to come back, he wants to come back.”
Tassler also said that CBS, show creator Chuck Lorre and the production company, Warner Bros., are all interested in seeing “Two and a Half Men” continue beyond this season.
Though the actors are still not signed for another year, it was earlier speculated that Jones’ remarks may have been tied to his potential departure from the show.
But Lorre spoke with Jones after the YouTube video went viral, USA Today relates, and appears to have forgiven the young actor.
“I was concerned about him continuing with us, but he’s entitled to his journey,” Lorre explained. “He’s a sweetheart. He’s fine.”
Lorre concluded of the remarks: “He’s 19, man. Cut him some slack.”

Jan. 13, 2013 at 8:05pmThat’s why kids are they way they are, they aren’t tought that actions and words have consequences, hence the sense of entitlement. If he really feels they same way then stand by your conviction and do what’s right instead it goes to show, where the priority is money vs. conviction.

Let there be no doubt, this is history repeating itself. Nina Tassler is Jewish, and these are the cultural changing, wanna rule your life, progressives who are tearing down traditions. Keep turning your head and ignoring the cause, as the disease riddles your body.

Who is Nina Tassler? Nina Tassler is a cultural changing, Jewish progressive. You’ll find the same theme in Hollywood that you will find in New York. You people live in denial, or total ignorance.

It used to be a fun show, it’s been disgusting for a long time now, filth!

Jan. 12, 2013 at 9:01pmIf they can’t get Charley back, forget it. Kutcher sux, and so do the stories. They had so many good, existing characters to work with and, instead they’ve ruined the show. They either have a death wish, or Charley was doing all the ‘heavy lifting’.
I remember when that blond left ‘Cheers’ and it actually improved. It had good writers and good characters.

Jan. 12, 2013 at 7:58pmAngus has never apologized for the fact the show is filth, he apologized to his fellow actors.
As far as ‘slack’, it is amazing the depth of maturity he has over most older than him on this show, so the comments of others means nothing to me.
As far as his contract, I’m not sure how long he is signed, and I don’t recall it being a ‘yearly’ set up…but then again, I quit watching it years ago, after I started picturing my niece as a victim of sexual immorality, a liar and abuser of women, who slept with them, then kicked them aside. The fact I did use to laugh, made me sick enough, but then putting the value of a family, value of a father, value of parental guidance and the values of this world pushing this as normal, and to the majority of the secular world it is just that.
Angus’s eyes have been opened…so now, contract aside (which he has to take responsibility in doing before his eyes were opened), the rest of his stand will be interesting to see.
