Mali-Based Islamists Vow Bloody War on France

After four days of air strikes by French warplanes in central Mali, the al Qaeda-linked al Shabaab Islamist group launched a counter-offensive of its own Monday, vowing to drag France into a long and bloody ground war.

France, determined to tamp down Islamists’ control over the region, intensified its air raids on Sunday while simultaneously launching hundreds of ground troops into the Mali capital of Bamako. French leaders fear northern Mali has become a breeding ground for al Qaeda and believes the region will serve as a launchpad for new attacks on the West.

MUJWA, one of the Islamist groups heading the rebellion, pledged that French citizens would suffer for Sunday’s air strikes in Gao where dozens of Islamist fighters were killed.

“They should attack on the ground if they are men. We’ll welcome them with open arms,” Oumar Ould Hamaha told Europe 1 radio. “France has opened the gates of hell for all the French. She has fallen into a trap which is much more dangerous than Iraq, Afghanistan or Somalia.”

Reuters reports that Islamists launched their counter-attack far to the southwest of recent fighting and that rebels have overrunning the insecure border region with Mauritania where al Qaeda’s North African wing AQIM is based.

Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian told BFM television. He added that French and Malian forces are actively fighting to purge the region of its insurgents. Nonetheless, residents report that Islamists insurgents shouting “Allahu akbar” are not slowing down.

For its part, France did mange to stop Shabaab and its Islamist-affiliates from seizing the capital city and has pledged to continue its air strikes, Reuters reports.

President Francois Hollande announced that his country’s goal is to support a mission by the 15-nation West African bloc ECOWAS as mandated by a U.N. Security Council resolution in December.

Aides to Hollande, however, confessed that the Islamists are far better equipped, armed and trained than they had anticipated.

“What has struck us markedly is how modern their equipment is and their ability to use it,” an official said in response to the insurgents’ attack on a French Gazelle helicopter that led to the death of its pilot, Lieutenant Damien Boiteux.

“Initially, they appeared like a rag-tag bunch travelling in their Toyotas with a few weapons,” the official added. “But they’ve shown themselves to be well-equipped, well-armed and well-trained.”

The Reuters footage below features French military jets continuing their attacks on Islamist strongholds in northern Mali, reportedly dropping 550lb of explosives on targets since Friday.

France welcomes the barbarians in. The Netherlands, the UK, Spain, Canada, and The United States of America all are just wonderful “multicultural meccas”!! Hmmm… so the Muslims invited into these nations, uhmm… they didn’t acclimate or respect the laws of their new nation? Didn’t work out??? Ahh… the days of mass deportations! It was done to innoncent Americans of Mexican descent during the Mexican Revolution in the early 20th century and innocent Japanese American families during WWII. And most were patriotic Americans!!! BUT we won’t do the same to the insidious Muslims who use and usurp this nation’s and European laws and hide behind their hateful religion.
You want us to help you get rid of them, don’t you Frenchies??
Forced Multiculturalism is just a planned culture killer and soft way of diluting the dominance of the native population racially,politically,culturally, and economically. The days of Eliis Island were a pretty ideal, but those immigrants WANTED to be Americans for the pride,love, and opportunity of greatness. Those days haven’t been seen since.

  Agreed! That’s the major diff bt ‘slims and every other type of immigrant. Others come/came to start a new life in the land of liberty. ragheads come to infiltrate, breed, and subdue. Bombing ‘slims is a red herring – it avoids the gritty social issue of confronting an ideology that will not acclimate nor compromise, and France (no a great leap downward from our own liberal, kamikaze-policy ‘leadership’) is easily the most heavily infiltrated of all the spiraling Euro states. Islamists love our political correctness! The two remaining lines of defense against Islam’s stealthy-yet-aggressive encroachment into the US will be the Church, IF its leadership might once again find strength as in the days of the First Crusade, and secondly, every patriot with a gun who will die free before living in the echo of Islamic morning prayers being broadcast down city center.

  It is the easiest way to defeat a nation, much better than armed cvonflict.
  
  By multiculturizing a society the original inhabitants, founders and builders are driven out or watered down via interbreeding without blood shed and the structures are left intact.
  
  How is that done?
  
  First of all it is necessary to neutralize the expected outrage among the people who are being replaced. They are told that “diversity is their strength,” and that oppoosing other races and cultures is hateful, racist, and evil. It is necessary to interweave these ideas into the populace via the schools, the government and especially the press and entertainment industries, until anyone in opposition to the process is considered on a par with a child rapist, a killer of children or a demon.
  
  Over and over again these ideas must be repetitiously hammered into the citizenry, until they’re terrified of complaining even about beatings, murders and tortures on the native population, like as is happening now with black on white threats, insults, beatings and murders.
  
  If you squeak out a complaint and cite DOJ data which reveals these atrocities in great numbers, then you are a racisdt, a hater, a homophobe.
  
  Because the truth must never be allowed to flourish or the entire scheme will fail.

The US needs to submit an objection to Frances illegal war in the UN and draft a resolution condemning France and implement sanction against France before this night is over. I won’t point fingers at the French however, because our handwringing “President” doesn’t have the will to face America’s enemies either. If these militants want a war we have to give them what they asked for, “A WAR.” I appreciate the fact that several people on here have commented on how we tiptoe around acts of war as to not offend anyone by being “too harsh” and what not. You cannot EVER win a war using a bunch of Liberal ideas hiding behind lawyers & people that have only read books about war written by other Liberals. Unfortunately, and I can’t stress the “unfortunately” part enough, you win wars by killing anything that is a combatant period. If you’re not willing to do that at any cost then you’ve lost before you even started to fight.

Déjà vu…….Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Korea, and so on, so on, and so on. When will we learn? A military force cannot defeat an adversary they can not see. Eliminate one of them, and 10 will step into their place. Unless a nation has the intestinal fortitude to fight these insurgents like a ‘WAR’, and not a ‘Police Action’, they will never be defeated. Al Qaeda and the like, are already back in Iraq with a vengeance. They and others, will be back as strong as ever in Afghanistan as soon as we leave. Win their hearts and minds…..LOL. Never happen!

From what I understand, Mali is the center for smuggling and infiltrating into Europe. I have a hunch that Europe has just about had their fill of Muslims from Africa. Similar to what we in USA are experiencing with our southern border. I would not put it past the Europeans, especially Germany, to collectively push back with ground troupes.

Hollande doesn’t knowwhat he’s gotten himself into. I thought he was going to wait on the U. N., but he does have some troops from other african countries. Thw windening conflict has seen Algeria allow French jets to fly over their airspace, because the jets from Chad aren’t going to be enough. Mali is 90% Muslim in a country with no sectarian spit. The French sat on their hands for over a decade while Sudan’s Al-Bashir genocide of Darfur christains. I believe Hollande’s got France into something like Indo-China circa 1950′s. They deserve everything they have coming to them.

  Gonzo, the French has so called “foreign legion” who’s basically like a mercenary soldiers but regulated by french military. They’re proven to be fearless and have a tough training. Even during ww2 when most of French surrendered, foreign legionnaires were still fighting in Africa.

I’m tired of being told that Islam is a “Religion of Peace,” when every day I
can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and
daughters for their family “honor”; of Muslims rioting over some slight
offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren’t
“believers”; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning
teenage rape victims to death for “adultery”; of Muslims mutilating the
genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Koran and
Sharia law tells them to.
I’m tired of being told that out of “tolerance for other cultures” we must let
Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries use our oil money to fund mosques
and madrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in Australia , New Zealand ,
UK, America and Canada , while no one from these countries are allowed to
fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia or any other
Arab country to teach love and tolerance.
