Photos From New ‘Bullet to the Head of the NRA’ Computer Game Are Graphic and Horrifying
After the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary last month, NRA executive vice president Wayne LaPierre said that “guns don’t kill people,” but that “there exists in this country…a callous, corrupt and corrupting shadow industry that sells and stows violence against its own people” in the form of “vicious, violent” video games.
Yet another example appears to have emerged, this time targeting the NRA itself, but it appears to have been largely drowned out by outrage over the NRA releasing its own video game.Β
A concerned father drew attention to “Bullet to the Head of the NRA” in a Free Republic post:
I saw something today that upset and deeply disturbed me. I was walking past my son’s bedroom, where he spends all his time on his computer playing those damn games of his. I stopped when I heard the sound of Wayne LaPierre’s voice as he gave his speech about the Newtown massacre. I was surprised my son, who is just 14, was getting involved in anything political, but I was glad he was exposing himself to the right people. I opened the door, intending to tell him how proud I was, when the image on the screen stopped me cold. It was not, as I suspected, a video of Wayne LaPierre’s speech, but was in fact a virtual recreation of the event, a video game. And in the game was a virtual Wayne LaPierre, standing at his podium, giving his speech… with a crosshair over his head. Before I could even utter a word to scold my child, he clicked his mouse. And the virtual Wayne LaPierre’s face disappeared in a spray of blood.
The game is available for download on the internet, and as Katie Pavlich at Townhall notes, its creator hopes to see it all over the web.
“Share this everywhere, especially gun-nut and anti-game websites,” the creator writes with the usernameΒ gizmo01942. “Also see if you can’t send it in to the NRA somehow, like through the feedback on their website or something.”
TheBlaze’s Meredith Jessup has more info on the creator’s intentions:
βI really want to shoot Wayne LaPiere in the head in a video game because Iβm pissed about how he and others on his side have blamed violence on video games,β the gameβs creatorΒ wrote. Β βThisβll ultimately be a bonus level in the final game, but I want to get it done and released ahead as quickly as possible, in part because I wanna see the man wet his pants on television and bi**h about being victimized in a video game.β
The game itself appears to be a recreation of the tragedy at Sandy Hook.Β
Here are some of the still shots he posted to “show off” (content warning):

The video game released by the NRA allows gamers to shoot objects outdoors with the goal of β[instilling] safe and responsible ownership through fun challenges and realistic simulations.β

Can you imagine the response if that had been an image of a standing president?

Posted on January 15, 2013 at 8:18pmFunny how it is the liberals who are almost always violent against their fellow human beings, that the violent and outspoken amongst them is the type of personality they seek to coddle and protect. Yet, what they can’t understand is how obama is the greatest gun salesman EVER! I thought it just made sense.

It keeps us from committing real crimes. Games like these prevent terrible massacres, like the one that happened at Sandy Hook.

I actually support games like this. They allow me to slaughter children and public persons without having to do it in real life. In most cases, games like these allow sadists(like me) to blow off steam and mitigate my intense hatred of people. It keeps us from committing real crimes. Games like these prevent terrible massacres, like the one that happened at Sandy Hook. Adam Lanza was an isolated case, due to his unique(well not so unique in this day and age) condition β autism. It is a well known fact that people with autism are, for the lack of a better term, ticking time-bombs. We should keep guns out of THEIR hands and lock them up in cages, before they can do the public harm.

Posted on January 15, 2013 at 5:55pmWith the liberal Hollywood and their movie violence. With the liberal video game makers and their violence. Can you tell me again where the violence is CONDITIONED/LEARNED from??
There’s a reason why the targets in basic training are in the shape of enemy Soldiers…and it’s very simple really. It’s to TEACH/CONDITION humans to shoot other humans. Now go back and read my first three sentences.

Posted on January 15, 2013 at 5:18pmSo this peace loving punk wants to kill NRA leaders does he? On the one hand we’re all told about how valuable advertising of all kinds is, which are just tv programming. On the other hand we’re told that tv programs and videos have no affect on people. Can’t have it both ways you progresso-commie punks.
The little pansy who cranked this pile of trash out would likely have a fit if anyone threatened him/her/it with nothing but the slap of the female canine.

Posted on January 15, 2013 at 5:05pmCan you imagine if the person targeted was the president ? And, is he any more special than any other citizen ? The dumbing and the debasing of America . This NEVER would have been tolerated 60 years ago when the adults were running the show . Proof that all “change,” Chicago radicals , is NOT good despite your promotional rhetoric…

Posted on January 15, 2013 at 8:30pmyeah he would be sent to jail because it would be seen as a threat of violence against the president. did you know that it is a crime to threaten the president? also yes, he is different in case you haven’t noticed at least for now he is the PRESIDENT, a hard concept to understand with that title i guess.
a person could get 20 years if they made a game threatening the president. oh and i have a feeling 60 years ago people would be wringing their hands just as much as they are now. every generation says the one after them is depraved and worse than them.

Posted on January 15, 2013 at 4:57pmI wonder what the newspaper husband who hate guns but who has a hired gun for protection thinks about this. I hate Guns he said but he hired 1 to protect his family. and will not put a gun free sign in his yard. Maybe the creator of this game also should put a gun free zone on his property and then he can feel better to by hating guns and violence. ?????? We the people have rights to the constitution of America. They were sworn in to up hold it. And they should lose there positions if they don’t want to abide by it. Liberty and freedom Men And women through out history fought for the constitution.

Posted on January 15, 2013 at 3:48pmTime and time again the liberals hypocrisy is on display for all to see. So how do they control the narrative on every issue? I’ve been saying for years that the popularity of these violent games is what is turning American children into killers with no conscience. Even our military uses these types of games to train our nations soldiers to kill efficiently. I have played video games since the first console systems where released. The rise in popularity of these violent shooter games has been hand in hand with the rise of violence among American children. Whoever developed this should have their name and address printed in the newspapers. I hope his gun has a port for his game controller.

Posted on January 15, 2013 at 8:48pmi like the way you think, publicize his name so he can get violently murdered by an unstable gun-owner for creating a video game that has yet to harm a single person!
that is exactly what we need to do, violently meet this head on! lest we start thinking violence is caused by human nature, instead of video games, movies and tv!

Posted on January 15, 2013 at 3:23pmI was disappointed to see such a relatively small percentage of respondents to the gun survey posted here are NRA members. The best response to this type of vile hatred is to join the NRA. I have been a member for awhile. The simple fact is that if not for the NRA the most anyone would be allowed to own is a single barrel break action shotgun and a bolt action .22 with no internal feed mechanism. There has been a war on the second amendment for at least 50 years. The NRA is the only reason it isn’t long gone. Yesterday I sent off my check to become a Life Member of the NRA. THAT is what makes a difference folks. As far as I’m concerned unless you are a current NRA member shooting ranges should not allow you entrance.

Posted on January 15, 2013 at 3:23pmThis charade could only happen in America.
A leader responsible for the sale of over 2,200 high caliber weapons calls for school kids to surround him for the graphics?
How about the $500 million that he gave Planned Parenthood in 2012. How many babies did they slaughter last year?
Didn’t this Obama fella vote for a bill that promoted the concept of “set aside to die?” This legal voodoo allows medical personnel to set a poor little bugger who survives an abortiopn attempt in a closet until the baby stops breathing.
Now that what I call “focused like a laser” on child safety!
