The 2013 SHOT show, the largest gun show in the world, kicked off in Las Vegas on Tuesday, complete with 12.5 miles of guns, ammunition and gear from nearly every manufacturer imaginable.
Fox News’ Allison Barrie has some background on the gun show:
“The annual SHOT show — short for Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade — is owned and sponsored by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), a firearms, ammunition, hunting and shooting sports industry trade association. Each year the show generates millions of dollars in revenue that NSSF uses to fund programs that help ‘promote, protect and preserve’ hunting and the shooting sports.”
In case you couldn’t make it out to Vegas, here are some of the sights from Tuesday’s festivities at the 2013 SHOT show:

Can’t wait to hear King O’s 19 new rules for us rubes today with all the little innocent children surrounding him. Wonder – will armed guards be protecting THOSE children as his are 24/7? Funny how O is against guns so much that he signed yet another EO the other day providing lifetime SS protection for him!

Jan. 16, 2013 at 4:12amUntil enough Americans turn their backs, ears and wallets away from traditional media in this country, we won’t be able to begin reversing the tide that has been rising for decades. There is another tide reversing scenario; but it will be bloody. I pray for God’s conservative wisdom to enlighten the sheeple. Take Care!

Short URL: http://wh.gov/Evek we petition the obama administration to:
Psychotropic Drug Regulation place a moratorium on Psychotropic drug dispensing and require Congress to investigate
ninety percent of all the mass shootings in the last thirty years involved the use of Psychotropic drugs.
We hereby require the President to place a moratorium on the use of these drugs and demand a review by Congress as to the effects and dangers of dispensing such medication. Whereas the prescribing of these drugs is subjective, without physical testing and not scientific in nature and the dangers listed create effects leading to Hallucinations, Agitation, Suicidal Thoughts and Increased Agitation; these drugs are a Clear Danger to the community as a whole and should be tested by Private Laboratories not connected to the producers of such drugs. In the wake of the loss of twenty children and seven adults it is imperative we seek answers for the cause of such tragic incidences,

All part of the Agenda to create an America so corrupt it stinks; use public policy to subvert America from inside, infiltrate and influence our culture to break down basic rules of morality driving us in a direction designed to destroy us. . No conspiracy – just verifiable facts! If you don’t know all this you need to find out!

Hopefully the house and senate will wake up and reverse this presidents executive orders that are coming down the pike.

Jan. 16, 2013 at 2:32amWonder what they do to get the 7 round clips for NY? Think maybe there might be a wooden duck plug like in the shot guns, that no one took out?

Jan. 16, 2013 at 9:04amThe 7 rounders will probably be crimped like the 10 rounders to limit capacity. A “plug” would be to easy to remove and that would not satisfy Gov Craphead. Sorry that you New Yorkers have Gov Commie as your leader. Heil Craphead.

Jan. 16, 2013 at 2:38pmI too live in the “armpit of America”, and Christie is adamant about not changing our gun laws. We do not (unlike PA) have any constitutional right to own or carry. Everything is administered by the State Polic – at their whim or unless told to change them by the Gov. We’re limited to 15 rounds, which makes my Marlin 61 “barely legal”.
Loved the gun show though and have attended many in PA and Virginia. Still get that tingly sensation up and down every time.

Jan. 16, 2013 at 2:27amThree things:
1) I hate seeing this pictures where people have their finger on the trigger. However, to be fair they might be testing the trigger break in some cases.
2) This show is AWESOME.
3) On gun control: I laugh when I watch TV and see the ads for the new movies coming out like “Bullet to the Head” or “Jack Reacher”. There’s at least half a dozen ultra violent movies coming out now, and Taken 2 is out on DVD.
Now, I don’t argue to restrict these movies, they’re protected by the 1′st Amendment, but it’s hilarious that liberals won’t say jack about these movies and how they might affect people because the movies are made by people they like. If they don’t like you however, John Kerry suggests taking away your 1st Amendment rights.

Jan. 16, 2013 at 11:49amLast night my young nephew called me because he wanted me to convince his parents to let him watch “The Walking Dead.” He came to me because he knows I have firearms at home and his parents don’t. Obviously, I told him that he must respect his parents wishes.
He then said: In “The Walking Dead” all the zombies are Democrates since they hate guns and all the survivors are Republicans because they had guns. I almost spewed Johnny Walker all over myself.

Jan. 16, 2013 at 1:51amWow, all those guns and no violence, no firefights breaking out. How is that possible? Guns create crime, right? I surmise that any wacko nut-job is NOT thinking of going to shoot up the SHOT Show – rather, they are thinking of hard buildings with soft chewy centers – like a school. Predators know their limitations.

Jan. 16, 2013 at 4:26amYeah I noticed that. Also no pictures of geat and accessories. You have to admit, the pictures of the semi-auto pictures are all of nice looking pistols though (Sorry, scary pistols) revolvers just bring to mind cowboys and indians. Wait, aren’t anti-second amendment folks always crying about bloodbaths and shootouts like in the “old west”? So why would they want us to have revolvers like in the old west?

Jan. 15, 2013 at 11:28pmThey should have a robot made to look like Charleton Heston there on display and challenge people to take the gun out of it’s cold dead fingers. Of course the robot will easily crush any puny humans attempt to pry loose the gun.
I see this as the next stage in gun development. Robotic guns that do all the work for you. All you have to do is sit by your computer monitor and press the kill button, somewhat like our awesome drones.
