Chuck Hagel Defense Secretary Confirmation Hearing Set for Jan. 31

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Senate Armed Services Committee will hold a confirmation hearing on the nomination of Chuck Hagel to be the next defense secretary on Jan. 31.

The panel announced the hearing in a statement issued Wednesday.

The committee’s chairman, Sen. Carl Levin of Michigan, has expressed support for Hagel, President Barack Obama’s pick to replace Leon Panetta as Pentagon chief. The panel’s top Republican, Sen. Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma, said in a statement late Tuesday that he would oppose the nomination.

Inhofe is one of a handful of Republicans who have expressed their opposition to Hagel, a Republican who served two terms as senator from Nebraska.

I know Hagel does not like ‘the Jewish Lobby’ and so by extension the Jewish people or the Jewish state. I wonder if he shares this dislike with the same passion as Pres. Obama. But Sen. Schumer, D-NY, the author of that famous letter calling for a run on IndyMac thereby causing our financial meltdown AND a man of good standing in the state of NY and the US Senate, thinks Hagel is ok. So then Hagel will be our next new Cabinet member. The question is what does Hagel think of this country and our Constitution? Does he share his future bosses disdain? I hope all this will come out in the hearings. Will he make sure that our peacekeepers in those far away lands will not be hurt when they have to investigate happenings in some dark back-alley in Kabul?

This Israel-hating POS, whose dearest wish is to leave us disarmed and defenseless before our enemies needs to be UN-nominated with all dispatch, the same as Obama’s lying minion, Susan Rice was UN-nominated. That being said, he commonly puts somebody ABSOLUTELY vile and unacceptable to any thinking American out there for a cabinet post, so he can sneak through whatever left-wing radical POS he “really” wants in the position. So it makes you wonder what left-wing, anti-American POS he has waiting in the wings to step forward when THIS nomination is shot down–and of course if it IS shot down, he can point to that and scream about the Republicans making it impossible for him to do “what the American people want” according to him. But then, as has been clearly established by past history, Obama is a LIAR, so anything he says must be viewed with suspicion, especially since the equally lying media will NEVER question whatever lie comes out of his lying mouth.

Here’s a perfect example: I heard him say just this morning that “the majority of the American people” WANT gun control. That is a BLATANT LIE–but of course nobody in the mainstream media even questioned that statement–they just put it out on the airwaves as though it was actually reality.

Live in Nebraska.
Hagel first election here was out of the blue shocker as down by 7-9% in polls.
Then and now heavily invested in ES&S which runs 60% of voting machines in this country.

Does this nomination sound & look like a “THANK YOU” gift from BHO for ES&S help during last election?
