Dad of Sandy Hook First Grader Responds to Conspiracy Theory That the Shooting Never Happened in Powerful Interview With Glenn Beck
In light of all the wild conspiracy theories floating around the Internet about the Newtown shooting, the father of a Sandy Hook Elementary first grader called into Glenn Beck’s radio program on Wednesday to thoroughly debunk the theory that the shooting never actually happened. In a powerful interview, the father, “Pete,” recounted the horrific events of that morning and described how it felt not being able to immediately rescue his young son.
After killing his mother, a deranged shooter opened fire at Sandy Hook Elementary, killing 20 children and six school staffers in December. For some reason, Newtown “truthers” have promoted the idea that the shooting was staged and it never really happened, an idea that the father said makes him want to throw up.
“It’s like an unimaginable way to even look at a tragedy or horrific event. I don’t even understand it,” Pete told Beck on the radio.
Pete’s son lost several friends in the tragic shooting and has attended six funerals. Additionally, two of the kids murdered in the massacre were part of Pete’s Tiger Den — his son wore his uniform to those two funerals.
The father said he felt such “terror” on that day that he later got an EKG to make sure he didn’t have a heart attack. That’s why it really gets to him when people argue the massacre was a hoax.
As a volunteer firefighter, Pete was later called to the scene to assist at Sandy Hook. However, knowing his son was inside the school, he was not allowed to go in after him.
“I’m having a hard time even asking you this question,” Glenn began. “What did it feel like as a dad to know that your son was in that build, and you could not go in and grab him?”
“It was extremely hard. I’m fortunate that the fire department is a big family,” Pete replied. “One of them, the EMS captain, her mother is the secretary in the office. She’s the one who got the intercom open. And we were both together on the truck and we were consoling each other, and making sure we were able not only get in and do our jobs and but keep each supported to make sure everything was going to be all right.”
“I was fortunate that my son’s class due to his location was about the second class out. I saw him right away within a few minutes of being on scene,” he added.
Pete told Beck that he had wanted to call into his radio show for a long time after hearing about Newtown “truthers” and the crazy theories they are promoting.
“We need to set the record straight,” he said. “I was there. I’ve been to the funerals. I know the families very closely. I know a lot of those children. It happened. It really happened.”

We understand it happened. When are you going to address the inconsistencies and out right lies/misinformation? This story stinks to high heaven and you know it… if you don’t see what the rest of us are… well, you are the one who seems to have lost his way… we’re not in “Disneyland” now…Even “American Dream Labs” isn’t going to make this go away. Are you now going to be like all the rest..? Bring on the Dad to address just this one video, and ignore all the rest?? Dragging out the parents and kids… and nothing else? This man hasn’t set the record straight… We have been lied to. No footage-no witness (we know there were survivors)- lies about the second shooter… we deserve answers. Posted on January 16, 2013 at 7:41pmAgree. I have not seen ANY proof that there was a shooting. However, I have seen news video of “parents” laughing & being interviewed after their kids were shot. I have seen video of the so called assault rifle being removed from the car trunk, in the dark (shooting happened in daylight), long AFTER the media reported an “assault” weapon. Only it wasn’t an “assault” weapon. It was a semi-auto shotgun removed from the trunk. I have seen NO proof that an AR-15 was used. I have listened to 2 hours of police radio comms several times. The POLICE mentioned 3 shooters. One “proned out”, and 2 outside in a van with shot out window “coming at me now”. I have seen police photos of a teacher’s car with 2 bullet holes. One an entry hole, the other an EXIT hole, from a different angle. All the while the police maintain there were no bullets that exited the school. Who fired a shot INSIDE the teacher’s car? There is more, much more. But you get my point.
DON’T tell me that there isn’t something fishy going on here. This DID NOT happen as they would have us believe.

Why is it so hard for you to accept that our government will go to extreme extremes (Yes that is extreme extremes) to push agendas?? I really don’t get it. I thank you for waking a bunch of people up, to what is going on in the world. I don’t think without your help there would be as many people awake as there are now…….So thank you for that.
I also like your vision for America….I do think we are and should be a nation of dreamers and achievers, but we need to have an America to do that in. And to do that we need to call out our own faults… Are you being threatened? Or is it that you can’t afford to have a period of time where things are extreme, because that would put a damper on the theme park? (Which I truly do hope is successful, and that someday I would get a chance to visit). You are ahead of your time man.. To do what you are trying to do, you need to cut ties with politics period…focus on entertainment and family values.
Until you can accept the fact that our gov is way out of control, and would go to unimaginable extremes I am done with you. I will visit your theme park, even watch your movies, but politics you hold no water anymore for me.

Anyone with half a brain can see there are issues around Obama that are questionable, and need to be addressed; just like all the misinformation that surrounded Sandy Hook (2nd shooter, strange behavior of M.E., and FB pages created prior to attack). All we want as viewers/listeners is to be taken seriously and to have our questions answered. Perhaps we have become jaded by all the chaos and inconsistencies surrounding our politicians and their ability to “never waste a crisis” or obfuscate on things so hated by the majority of Americans; or maybe the Internet has given us the ability to research for ourselves, in any case we expect people who say “The Truth Lives Here” to search for the truth. Why were there 2 or 3 shooters reported? What happened to the man in the woods? Why was a long rifle shown in Lanza’s car while the ME states that all the dead were shot with a long rifle and the shooter supposedly only had handguns? Why did the school nurse say Nancy Lanza was a “wonderful kindergarten teacher” if she had never taught at Newtown? All we need is answers, answers that are logical and make sense. Why is that so terrible? I feel awful for these families; but I haven’t given up on the truth & logic.

If it happened, I don’t believe it happened the way the Obama media tells it. DHS, FEMA, DOJ, AFT, W.H. and the FBI have a know record of manufacturing terror events. Yes, with real people, real guns and real sinister motives. . .Fast & Furious, Benghazi so far are the only to see the light of truth.

While most certainly not denying that these killings happened, I don’t think anyone is saying that – Duh!..But it is of concern to me as well as the actual case; the boy, his family and what happened there has all but dropped off the map and of zero mention in the news after the first day or 2. It;s now all about a liberal agenda pushing gun control. THAT is why some of us are suspect….

The firearm the coroner said the perp used in the shooting ( assault rifle ) was found in his trunk. none of the pistols were fired..( Not worth questioning Glenn? ) 3. There were surveillance cameras all over the school. No recordings Glenn?? 4. Why were ALL the caskets SEALED? Did you ever think the entire thing was STAGED? First it was the older brother, then the younger brother had his brother’s ID, when they hadn’t been in contact for years? Did they just want that family (ties to Aurora through the banking thing) and tried to convince the older brother, because who would teach their austic son (my austic son has NO concept of safety) how to shoot a gun? And there’s no evidence he was AT the shooting range? When tried to teach my son how to cross the street, he stops, looks both ways then tries to cross whether something is coming or not.

I had never heard any talk that the murders “never” happened until Glenn spoke about it yesterday. There are valid questions that need answered, just like Benghazi. Sometimes I think he goes overboard distancing himself from any perceived conspiracy theorists to avoid being associated. Now we have even more victims…the parents who are now having to defend that their kids are actually dead or otherwise traumatized. But on that note, why weren’t the parents allowed to see their kids prior to burial? I can see warning them that it would be horrible and giving them the option of someone else identifying them, but none of the parents wanted to see their child?

I never bought the “accident” primarily because Obama supported drilling immediately prior to the spill, which was completely opposite of what he campaigned on, or supported as a senator. When he announced he was opening up drilling, I said “huh, that’s not the Obama I know” then imagine my surprise to hear of the disaster that quickly ended that hope. It’s all about the next crisis, public opinion and how to take control. I don’t believe every conspiracy or press release.

Haven’t seen any evidence that remotely proves a complete fake. However I would like to ask how a phone interview of an alleged survivors Dad is supposed to debunk all the rumors. No face to face. No way to confirm the guys identity. Glen who stands up to all the shady cr@p the Government tries to dish out. But he’s willing to take the word of some guy on the phone that everything is on the up and up?

Parent of one of the little girls was interviewed on a major network,(I’m paraphrasing) the mother was asked if it bothered her to not be able to see her child before burial. She stated that at first she was questioning not being able to see her daughter, but later realized it was for the best. There have been other reports that the coffins were sealed. If you are asking if I have inside information? No ,I am just trying to get answers like the rest of us.

Posted on January 19, 2013 at 8:19pmI just got done reading numerous comments like this on the story of “poor” Gene Rosen, and I am encouraged by how many are awake enough now to see past the fog those like Glenn are trying to cover the obvious BS that transpired at Sandy Hook. Just one of the many clues that it was a hoax: almost immediately after a supposed loan shooter was to have shot up all of those people, every person who talks with a reporter is as fake as a 3 dollar bill. Crappy acting going on all over the place. Got any explanations, Glenn, for why the children of all of the folks that “performed” were saying no person should have guns except for police and military, and only people who have guns keep them at a firing range? Isn’t that what you would call propaganda? How about tearless crying? I’m sure I’m not the only one who would have non-stop tears flowing for days, like I did when my fiancée died. We can only surmise that you are not seeking truth, Glenn. Why is that?

If Pete is telling the truth. then the officials in Newtown are the dumbest, most incompetent people on the planet. They created 100′s of weird discrepancies so that half the country thinks there was a plot of some kind.
Could they be this dumb? Could they be so creatively inept?…Hard to believe.
And once you rule that out, then you start to think, well, maybe they’re not incompetent, just evil.
That’s where a lot of people are now.

When you hear them run the license plate and come up with a name of a convicted felon, then they impound the car and seal the search warrants, rather than stating publicly who the owner of the car was — this is a cover up. There has to be a basis of trust and I, for one, am just slam out of trust in this government on a local, state and federal level. The Sewer Rat Gang from Chicago seems to think that they can pull all the Daley-taught lessons in bad governance and we’re supposed to just keep eating it all with a spoon?

While Barry’s Gubberment and Gov Dan Malloy’s Gubberment are acting like aholes now, the Gov was not involved in these killings. The one responsible is dead by his own hand, and the partially responsible are the previous government people that allowed mentally unstable to walk the streets, because the ACLU and mainstreaming advocates pushing for these unstable to live with little oversight. Most of the mental health facilities have been closed. We are paying the price for this mainstreaming.

Now… when I watch the Robbie Parker video, it does seem very unusual that he was laughing and smiling, and then he went all sad looking when he went on live tv.

Think about it…..Our government does fast & furious…..Our government (FBI) has done sting operations where they befriend crazy people and turn them into terrorists, give them the fake bomb, and then arrest them at the last minute. Is it beyond reason that they would do something like this with bad intentions?

Posted on January 16, 2013 at 6:27pmI think one of the things that is fueling this conspiracy thinking is the growing distrust (completely founded I think) in our government. bho and most of the rest of the politicians are not serving for our good, they are serving for their own selfish, misguided interests, at whatever cost to the country.
When you have a lack of trust, people will start putting together bits and pieces of details into a scenario that is demonstrative of their lack of trust.
You also have the diehard liberals who will do anything and use any event to promote their lust for power and control over the masses. Like bho’s Chief of Staff Rohm Emanuel said quite ago, “never let a good crises go to waste.” What are we to think when we have high visibility people like this saying stupid things like this?
I also think there is a great deal of confusion in the reporting of facts by the news media. At the time of the incident the news outlets all want to be exclusive and outperform the other media and in their haste they make a lot of mistakes. The mistaken information is then pieced together to support the conspiracy.

*Second shooter who was arrested (and maybe even a third)
*Mother was a teacher…teachers aid…substitute…never worked there….
*shooter was buzzed in because he was known as teachers son…wait, she wasn’t a teacher….
*long rifle was main weapon according to (weirdo) coroner, but it was in the trunk of the car
*dad was killed….no he wasn’t
*girlfriend is missing as well…no she isn’t…wait, what girlfriend
*shooter was a tech geek, but no online presence
*Mom feared him so much she told friends not to turn back on him, was thinking about institutionalizing him, but took him to the gun range
*shooter was thought he was his brother, and he had brothers valid ID, but hadn’t seen each other in a year or so
…and all that was off the top of my head of actual news reports. At the very least there was very crappy reporting going on that didn’t help anything.

I have lost a child in an automobile accident and can ASSURE YOU. YOUR NOT DOING ANY INTERVIEWS THE NEXT DAY!!!!!! I was in a STUPOR for a WEEK. I couldnt even carry on a conversation hardly for several days, even with family.
And watch another dad laughing then preparing to drum up emotion just before the goes on camera, little does he know, he is already on and busted.This in just 2 of dozens of blatant cover up or something. IT STINKS!
Another theory I have is think how easy it would have been to coax the disturbed boy (Lanza) to the school to go see a certain teacher and those two guys outside are the shooters, they bust in when Lanza walks in, fire away killing him too and the others then throwing the guns by Lanza and running away??
Have someone else take out the mother back at the house. Looking at the kid, I don’t think he knows how to get dressed by himself much less handle an AR, Glock and a Sig that efficiently and accurately.
Has anyone seen one of the dead victims covered in blood like the other shootings? I didnt see any victims AT ALL!

We’ve had dozens of pics, videos, stories, interviews, in-depth digging by reporters, etc. 24/7 for things like “dog on roof of car”, and yet something as big and tragic as this has no independent verification? No constant “where I was” interviews, little follow up… strange photos released of families, weird layout of vehicles at the scene. I’m not saying that someone didn’t die, I’m just looking for the TRUTH about it. Neighbors of Lanza said they hadn’t seen him “in 3 yrs” , strange…man lets kids into his house, doesn’t call police at all, strange…bodies left in buildings overnight! little kids?! VERY strange… just sayin’ … God knows the truth, and I pray He brings to light that need to be seen.

The cops got there withing minutes after the shooting started and contained secured the area and the shooter shot himself upon hearing the sirens. We are told it’s a complicated investigation. How so? The bodies were left inside the school? If that was my child I would be pissed! I would not want that disturbed examiner to be anywhere near my child. What the hell was he on or was he drunk?

The chopper footage shows cops removing a “long weapon” from the trunk, but it wasn’t the ar-15. it was another type of gun.

So what about the one on the footage? So are we talking five now. The nurse has given at least 2 different stories. She locked eyes with the gun man and then she only saw his legs before closing the door to her room. How nice of him. I have seen only 1 interview where there were real tears. I have cried about it more than all of the families put together in the interviews. I still want to cry because I do think something happend to some kids and adults but I just don’t know what that something is.

You have to understand, though, that my perspective is different because i grew up in Newtown.
Since that horrible day I have have spoken to some of the witnesses, State troopers, townie cops, EMTs, & other first responders. Many of them can’t stop crying. Others are numb. Like any other traumatic situation, some are trying to pretend it didn’t happen. They all have PTSS & are handling it differently. These are people i’ve known my whole life, and some i would trust with my life.
The magnitude of how this has effected them is mind-blowing. It takes your brain a long time to compartmentalize these things when you’ve seen them because they don’t fit in to what your previously believed perception of reality is. When you have constant violent nightmares about it, it’s easy to get hazy about what’s a memory, & what’s a dream.
The facts will eventually come out here, but the truth is that there are 20 homicides to investigate. It’s only been a month.
Oh, & as far as 2nd shooters, people in the woods, etc. go.. This school is surrounded by woods that have residences directly through them. Many people came through the woods from their houses to see what was going on, just as cops were penetrating the same woods to secure the area. Many of these people were chased, grabbed, questioned, etc. I’m surprised the conspiracy theorists only think there were 2 or 3 shooters because the cops questioned more than that.

If all these people died, where are all the bodies?, When you look at the coverage on that video on youtube there is ONE ambulance and cars are all blocking the path into the school. No one is taking any of the kids to the hospital? ONE AMBULANCE?
Its RIDICULOUS! Where are all the kids? Not one kid outside the school? Were they hiding 600 kids?
There is a shooting in the school and they keep the kids IN THE SCHOOL!?

But its hard to when evidence is proven time and time again with the footage.. and broken lies that come out of the police reports and such.. why would they continuously change the police reports to fit the story.. we have the news videos of that day it happened and the words they used to describe them.. day latter they changed the weapons used and where they were located. day later they changed from 3 guys to 1 guy involved.. days latter they forced the kids that were describing 3 different shoots now will not allow them to talk.. I don’t know.. i wasn’t there I just want the truth is all.. Its just the timing the facts all smell fishy. And STill not one person has looked into who this kid that shot all these kids, looked to see who we was talking to online and in phone calls and all of that.. Some one had to be coaching him.. You can blame games,you can blame guns you can blame drugs.. in the end its still the guy that has to chose right from wrong..

Posted on January 16, 2013 at 5:59pmNONE of the conspiracy theories make sense. Shoddy reporting led to mis-information being spread as multiple news agencies looked to be the first to get any piece of news. And a lot of them got it wrong in the beginning.
Adam Lanza shot those people and children, then he shot himself. The “second shooter” was a man who worked in the school, running away from the scene when he heard the gunfire, as most sane people would do. He was scared. He ran. End of story.
There IS footage of Lanza entering the building on security cameras. They simply will not release those images yet, and according to one source inside the local police department, it is out of respect for the fact that it only happened a month ago, and the parents and mourners are not ready to watch footage of a man entering a building preparing to murder children.
The footage will come out, and it will be soon, but let the people mourn first, and stop calling those who suffered liars. Have some ******* respect.

I belive it happened but the media has been such a propaganda tool for the government. They lost all trust froor many of us. Glen, you are wrong! We are beyond the threshold. Glen have you seen any of the videos that people are out there? Something is so wrong! The principal’s husband says he found out while in class at another school that he worked at. Some kid came to me in class with a computer and said there was a shooting and your wife is dead. WTF? Really? No, really???
All the new regulations he just signed and recomended just is another method to spend more money enforcing stuff that’s already on the books and then adding more uneffictive layers of crap over it. It is also going to make people not seek out treatment for mental health if they enjoy hunting or shooting for sport. He is expecting doctors to ask about guns in your home now and it will be part of your record and your doctore will be expected and maybe legally required to rat you out to the government. You will lose trust in your doctor. He is creating an atmosphere where people will not trust eachother in fear of being reported so to speak. That is what has happened countless times in history.

In all cases, the story varied widely cuz the government did not allow information out, and the result of all has been more tyranny. Connect the dots
