With tragedy often times comes conspiracy. There are, of course, the 9/11 Truthers and now, in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, a growing subset of individuals are claiming that the entire tragedy was government manufactured — or that it never happened at all. While reports surrounding these notions have recently surfaced, they appear to be gaining steam.

Gene Rosen, a neighbor who lives nearby the school (TheBlaze reported about his involvement in helping some of the victims after the shooting unfolded) has confirmed that the bizarre conspiracy theories are raging, telling Salon.com that he has fallen victim to critics’ attacks. Rosen, 69, who discovered and then helped six children sitting in his driveway who had fled the school on the day of the shooting, is reportedly being harassed by individuals who dismiss Sandy Hook as a government-spawned cabal.

In an interview with Salon, the retired psychologist described the difficult scenario and the ongoing e-mails and phone calls he is receiving in the wake of the horrific rampage.

“I don’t know what to do. I’m getting hang-up calls, I’m getting some calls, I’m getting emails with, not direct threats, but accusations that I’m lying, that I’m a crisis actor, ‘how much am I being paid?,’” he told the outlet.

There’s so much information floating around about him that he has a friend who sweeps the web every day so that he doesn’t have to. Rosen has logged each phone call and e-mail exchange, too, and he has consulted with a retired state police officer who told him that nothing can be done at the moment. Still, he’s keeping records for his own safety, as the situation doesn’t seem to be simmering.

Social media accounts have been falsely started in his name, critics have dismissed him as a fraud and, as a result of all of the chaos, his wife fears for the couple’s safety.

CNN has more about this issue of harassment:

“How are all those little students doing? You know, the ones that showed up at your house after the ‘shooting,’” one e-mail read. “What is the going rate for getting involved in a gov’t sponsored hoax anyway?”

While Rosen was initially hesitant to talk to media about the harassment, as he did not want to enrage or embolden those who are already hammering him on a regular basis. However, after considering the importance of free speech and realizing that he was passionate about speaking out, he reached out to Salon and told his story.

“There must be some way to morally shame these people, because there were 20 dead children lying an eighth of a mile from my window all night long,” he told the outlet, while allegedly holding back tears. “And I sat there with my wife, because they couldn’t take the bodies out that night so the medical examiner could come. And I thought of an expression, that this ‘adds insult to injury,’ but that’s a stupid expression, because this is not an injury, this is an abomination.”

Conspiracy theories surrounding the shooting are nothing new. Since the event unfolded last month, select critics have come up with bizarre notions about what unfolded. Some professors even jumped in to posit their odd theories, with one claiming that Israeli security forces were responsible for the attack.

The devil is in the details. Which so many people are trying really hard to over look, and make it seem that the people asking, intelligent questions about the whole event are conspiracy theories, or what ever insult you like to use. Here is what I do know. I know that the media lies , I know that our own President has given the order to kill 2 US citizens without charges or a trail ,To assume that our own government wouldn’t do something this horrific,because this is AMERICA,and things like that don’t happen here , is foolish. Someone here posted a link to the two YouTube vids detailing all the inconsistencies, the TERRIBLE acting, etc., and also compared the exact patterns, methods and images from two other major incidents, the 2005 London bombing, and 9/11.

The calculated negligence and deliberate chaos. The entire lack of stress, children, or childrens’ bodies at the “locked down” scene.

Parents and others making a big noise with lots of exaggerated “cry-face,” yet never a single tear.

This phony Parker guy (not even his real name!) laughing SO knowingly right before, then hyperventilating to get into character, as professional actors do. The “dead” girl showing up at the White House, and them lamely trying to explain THAT away.

Also, did you SEE those photos? Everyone is ecstatically happy, and they just lost their first-grader to a violent shooting???

I’m reposting it because I just spent 30 minutes watching all of it, and there is not ONE THING about this that adds up. NOT ONE.

In all of these hoaxes, there is considerable preparation and anyone paying attention can catch those bits of irrefutable evidence, like the guy who thought to get on Google Earth immediately, and reveal what the scene really looked like.

All those similar-looking cars? Government issue, and flash-mobbed to the scene to create this unlikely barrier between the only ambulance way up the road, and an alleged “victim” they were wheeling up

  And how about the BP oil spill? Same, exact patterns, as well as that man turning down every single offer of help over the globe. It was deliberate, designed to shut down our oil wells and break the Gulf seafood economy, not to mention ruining God’s stunning creation, which “they” hate.
  
  I have personally been on the receiving end of a PLETHORA of extremely expensive and elaborate hoaxes attended by a shocking number of participating, fatally misguided Globots, believe it or not (sometimes even I don’t), or I wouldn’t have a clue about any of this, and would probably be playing golf right now. Sometimes it seems like I am some kind of training or practice module.
  
  Everyone gets paid handsomely, and that is really what it’s all about. Deceiving us within an inch of insanity, getting their power, and also all the money.
  
  I wrote about these people and their tactics and patterns on this forum on September 11 (apparently now a day of “forgetting”), particularly the one where they overact grief with no tears, but somehow it’s NEVER convincing.

  It really seems like they are getting sloppier and sloppier in these hoaxes, and that they just don’t really care anymore whether we are fooled or not, because they probably figure we can’t do anything about it.

I do not know what is the truth, I think lanza looks like the co guy, not all mentally ill look like that, also why was lanza brothers id on him – maybe there is no adam., no bus driver would ever leave kids @ the school & school had already started so there should have been a monitor there to receive kids, kids would not go in a strange man’s house also there is no record of anything for 3 years for adam.

While I do agree that there have been many on the left who have been waiting for something like what happened at Sandy Hook to happen so they could use it as an opportunity to pass laws to take everybody’s guns, I cannot believe that this is anything other than a lone gunman with severe psychological issues whose mother had no business teaching him how to use guns. There are a lot of people that are to blame for what happened – the killer, his mother, along with all those leftist lawyers and legislators who passed all these laws over the last 50 years that have pretty much emptied out the asylums and state nervous hospitals around the country and made it damn near impossible to involuntarily lock up a family member who has serious mental issues instead of getting this kid hospitalized and treating him with medication and therapy. The number of people in mental hospitals in the US today is at the same number as in the year 1850. Banning the sale of handguns is not going to stop somebody from stealing somebody’s guns and going on a rampage.

TRUTH IS REALITY AND REALITY CAN BE DESCRIBED. I felt something was wrong with this from the get go, and I have learned to trust my gut. Something is coming and it isn’t good for America. Just remember if it happens it will be in the middle of the night without warning…shock and awe…we will be surprised as hell and all the prepping in the world won’t prepare you for it.

Remember, Glenn was the one who mocked at the idea of there being such a thing as the Fema camps. He is totally closed minded when it comes to even entertaining a possibility of something not being exactly as reported…..I find this really strange because he is often quite open to suggestion.

Does any one commenting here have any evidence of the actual deaths other than media reports ?
It’s no big chore to evacuate a school full of kids and tell some horrific story about it .
Does any one here know some one in Newtown who can definitely say “Yes, my next door neighbors child was shot” , or “My mechanic’s nephew was shot” ?
This is the same Govt that murdered Randy Weavers wife and son in an effort to get him to inform on a local “militia” group .
This is the same Govt that murdered 26 Branch Davidians so ATF could get a bigger budget .
This is the same administration that smuggled guns to Mexican drug gangs in an effort to promote gun control that killed 300 Mexicans and at least one Border Patrol agent .

Here’s my opinion: If you think there is anything even approaching evidence of a government conspiracy or that this shooting didn’t happen exactly as we have been told, you are an idiot. It is a hoax, and that guy is a bad actor. Donation pages set up before it happened, a ME who lied on camera about everyone being shot by “long guns”. Who uses that term anyway? If everybody’s wondering what firearm he used just look at one of the hundred or so spent casings that should be all over the place. Iran’s Press TV recently published a claim that the tragedy was perpetrated by an “Israeli death squad.” Apparently there is no shortage of slimy idiots seeking to exploit human suffering for their purposes, be they political or merely fulfilling a sick need to draw attention to oneself.

What happened in Sandy Hook, and the lack of solid evidence, is the result of: a.) sensationalist reporting and people more interested in trying to get a good story with high ratings, rather than an accurate story that takes a while to report, and b.) most of the witnesses were children and people cowering in fear for their lives.

There is no conspiracy. There is no government plot. It was bad reporting and people trying to be the first to air, rather than being the first to air ACCURATE information. It eventually happened, though.

There was no arrest in the woods. Police were chasing someone but there is no footage of them arresting someone, and two separate police reports say that they were chasing a small CHILD who had been running for his LIFE. Reporters simply talked without knowing the facts and said stuff like, “possibly a second shooter fleeing the scene.”

No. It was a child. This has been verified by the police and the parents of said child. Just like the six kids that ran and hid on this guy’s driveway, some kids just ran and didn’t know where they were going. An eleven year old kid ran from the school when he heard shooting and the police found him and rescued him. He wasn’t sure why he was being chased so he didn’t stop.

That’s the truth, and 100% more plausible than an entire town covering up the deaths of 20 kids.

As for the guns, a Bushmaster was used and shot kids multiple times. Hand guns were not used, but were on Adam Lanza. A shotgun

After the second shooting, I looked at my wife and said that this looks awful strange. After Shady Hook, I really started questioning why so many at this time. Now there has been another one – don’t know if an AR was being used but so many since the election makes one ponder why is this happening right now. And it seems as if “that guy” and his staff were ready and willing to march out the children for his press conference which was discussing more loss of freedom for this country. Very strange. Very strange, indeed. We all know that the left will leave no leaf unturned when a so-called “crisis” occurs. How many of these “crisis’s” have been pre-arranged in the past I wonder? I have no way of proving what is going through my mind and there will likely never be any proof – just look at Fast and Furious and Benghasi. If the media refuses to investigate then nothing will happen and we as a country will be doomed. All I know is that this and much more to come is what we get for reelecting “that guy” You dems should be proud of yourselves, those repubs who didn’t vote and those Jews who voted for “that guy” should also be proud. I don’t understand you Jews. It is like watching flie fly into the fire. Haven’t you learned anything in 2000 years?

I love the way this article lumps everyone together as a conspiracy nut (2nd line). I know Glenn “hates” the 9/11 truthers. All so called, 9/11 “truthers” are is people who want answers about what REALLY happened on 9/11. I mean the fact that bldg 7 just fell all by iteself is enough to question things! Glenn told us to “question with boldness”. Yet MANY subjects are off limits to question in his mind. He tells us how bad, crooked, screwed up, and corrupt the government is–then laughs and ridicules us if we question the big stories/issues and the government narrative. Anyone else see a problem with this kind of manipulation? Maybe some of us are immune to it…it doesn’t work on me.

Here is a clue–no matter what I would never have commented about this incident to begin with. Do you know what a hero is–someone who never seeks the limelight despite how heroic their acts might be. This guy brought these kids into his home–he should have kept his mouth shut about it. I was once asked to comment on Operation Desert Shield and when I refused the reported asked me why I did not want to be on TV. My answer was simple–that is your job, not mine! Nothing good will ever come from putting a bulls-eye on yourself for no reason!

Wake the F^&* up people. This reign of terror started with the questionable events surrounding the gulf oil rig explosion. There were way too many inconsistencies throughout the entire tragedy. I have never been a conspiracy theorist but there certainly has been enough anomalous components to every crisis since 2008. Of course other stuff has happened in history with other players, but they need not concern us now.

All I want to know is where are all the cell phone videos that day? Someone must have taken some other shots other than what they wanted us to see. Also where are the surveillance tapes from the school? They installed the state of the art surveillance prior to this shooting.

I heard this man talking to the reporters. He claimed that he was at home and saw several children, a school bus and a man outside. He claims the school bus let the kids off and he took them in his house to comfort them. No bus driver would do that. Why didn’t he call the police? What happened to the man? There are so many unanswered questions not to mention the poor acting of these people.

I saw interviews with Cooper and three sets of parents. They weren’t crying but talking about how their child loved this or loved that. There was no emotion. It was very strange. If that happened to me, I wouldn’t be able to speak period.

What they didn’t show you about the father interviewed, was that he was preparing to act prior to them taping. He was joking and laughing and then they said ok ready. He shakes himself as he prepares to get in to character. It was so bizarre.

The medical examiner was another weird guy that was laughing during some of the interviews which was later cut out. He doesn’t use language that a medical examiner would use. For instance, he says they were shot with the long gun and the officer had to ask, “You mean the rifle?”. He couldn’t even tell them what caliber the b

I thought that THE BLAZE was to be a place where accuracy in reporting mattered. Ya know, “The Truth Lives Here” and all that jazz.
Real investigative journalism.
Why doesn’t Billy Hallowell look into the information that is being put out there and prove wrong the things that are wrong and show what the inconsistencies really are? I guess that would take too much real journalistic work.
I am becoming more and more frustrated with this type of reporting that is not that much different than the news that I can find in lots of other places. Headline after headline seems to be less about actual reporting and more about emotionalism, which plagues todays news, everywhere!
What next? Is Dan Rather going to be on the new “60 minutes” show?

The more we hear about the news of Sandy Hook, the more new questions have to be answered. Many of the statements so far are contradictory and make little sense. We still have very few answers on the Benghazi affair and much fewre on this one. When people give truthful ansers to questions, the story doesn’t change. When a story changes with time, it can only mean the story is made up or a complete LIE! Witness the stories coming out about the Benghazi investigation. With an administration that allows the slaughter of thousands of unborn babies, it wouldn’t surprise me that the whole incident is a HUGE coverup. Corruption at its deadliest.
