Full Length NRA Video Slams Obama, Washington as Hypocrites on Gun Control

The National Rifle Association gave TheBlaze a sneak peek at its new scathing video Tuesday night, and now the entire clip has been released.

TheBlaze’s Jason Howerton summarized the clip’s highlights:

Noting that Obama’s children are protected by armed guards at their school, the video asks: “Are the president’s kids more important than yours?”

“Mr. Obama demands the wealthy pay their fair share of taxes, but he’s just another elitist hypocrite when it comes to a fair share of security,” the video adds.

“Protection for their kids and gun free zones for ours,” the video concludes.

But that’s not all the video features.  After playing roughly two minutes of various members of the media eviscerating the NRA as “out of touch” and “evil,” the video draws a line.

“The media speaks for elites, America speaks for itself,” the screen reads.

Soon after, the screen rapidly swings from state to state, highlighting the NRA’s proposal of armed guards being implemented in various schools.  Most interesting, though, is the rapidly-increasing NRA member count at the bottom right of the screen.

“Barack Obama won’t have two sets of rules – armed guards for his rich friends and their elite schools, restrictions and gun free zones for ours,” the video declares.

The video concludes: “NRA: Stand and Fight.”  Watch it, below:

    The only time I will need ten shots to shoot a deer is when the deer break into my house or attempt to molest me in any way. When New York lowered the number of bullets in a magazine, they only made it safer for the criminals. This is trickle down security in the vain hope that the criminals will start stealing less and less effective guns. We can see the direction of their Liberal intent and we need to know how many bullets should there be before they really feel safe. 5? 4? 3? Only the criminals would feel safer with lesser ability for law abiding people to defend themselves. This law may have unintended consequences as people get rid of non-compliant guns. The criminals will easily obtain the guns with higher capacity but guns with lower magazine capacity usually have higher caliber bullets. What next? Limiting the number of pellets in a shotgun shell?

      For YAHSHUARULES – I have noticed recently that your response to every single thread on The Blaze has been to post some reference to Curtis Bowers’ conspiracy theory video, Agenda: Grinding Down America. First I must ask are you paid to increase traffic for the movie’s web site? Not that I really see that as necessarily bad, just curious. Are you paid to build traffic?

      You say every time you post a link that it took you twelve viewings, over 18 hours of watching video, to absorb the repetitive message of the movie? That is amazing. Amazing confession of your intellectual limitations. The Commies are Coming from a Mormon Wacko? The Bolsheviks are waiting in the woods? That is a line from the movie. Are you being serious?

      I don’t have enough characters to list all the distortions but something simple like the Fabian to SDS link misses at least 5 steps from 1903 to 1963 and ignores the fact that the Ann Arbor statement is not Fabianism at all. Frankly from 1968 to about 1972 I was an active card carrying SDS organizer who help stage the May 1970 Kent State protests at UVa that shut the campus down and I put hundreds of protesters on the streets in DC for major anti-war rallies. My activities as a protest & event organizer helped set my career path. I’ve been a event producer for large festivals and fundraisers. I own an ad agency and publish a magazine, so I guess I followed the SDS path into society to plant the seeds of destruction.

      Best example of obama’s utopia? The Hunger Games because while most of us are living day to day begging for scraps of bread, Obama and the rest of the elite will be living in luxury, eating their fill and being protected by armed guards. If they are sooo against guns in school, then why doesn’t he lead by example and disarm the security guards in his daughters private (no public school for these princesses) school? Because even this tard knows that ONLY A GOOD GUY, with a gun can stop the bad guy with a gun. I am sooo tired of this man and can’t wait until the day he fades away like Jimmy Carter.

    Wow…. I can hardly believe my ears…. Barbara Boxes agrees with putting armed guards in our nations schools… did the earth just shake or what? Personally, I think putting trained, armed guards in our schools is the only common sense answer to deter gun violence against our children. 16 mass shooting in 2012? That’s 16 too many and it’s time to take out the killers to protect the innocent. If Hussein Obama’s kids need armed guard protection, the by thunder so does mine and every other child in this country. Hey, Hussein, take some of the money you give to your elite foreign buddies and pay for it. It’s our money anyways that pays for your kids safety, use it for ours too.

      You know, 20 to 30 years ago, people were warning America of what would happen if we let our culture be further degraded by acceptance of radical ideas. Paul Harvey, bless his heart, warned of it in the 60′s. Reagan warned of it in the 80′s. Decent people warned of it when Gangsta Rap was beginning to get popular. Well, now we have Chicago, and other cities like it. Now, we have people who want to protect child molesters. Now, we have the violent videos which young children, (and Adam Lanza), play with and become desensitized to. So what do you hear when good people talk about the breakdown of the family? Ridicule, or in other words, more of the same.

      Good call. And those armed guards will be money well spent when their duties include busting the rampant drug dealing going on in the playground right out in the open. Watch ‘Drugs Inc.’ and what you see WON’T shock you. 5th grade kids being mules and dealers for the public schools. Take a back pack full of weed and come home with money.

      My kids were sadly taken away because their mother wanted a new husband and life in a huge city (because she THOUGHT she was an actress, but only wound up on welfare in California). When she drug them to Phoenix at age 7 (twins) they were taking a short cut home frorm school and stumbled across a gang cutting a man’s throat. The police helped get them moved out safely, because my boys were going to be killed for seeing this. So she moved them to Redding CA. Both told me (at age 10) that “Poo-Poo” (a black kid in their class) “gives” drugs away during recess. When I talked to them another time they said that they don’t use drugs because “Poo-Poo’s” dad stands by the fence at the playground “and looks scary”. Nice to know that their mother tought them not to try drugs, but disgusting to know that the school “doesn’t know anything about this” and didn’t have anyone but a single female teacher outside to watch the entire area.

      Get armed guards and teachers in schools – to curb ALL violence and “open” drug dealing. Then we’re talking ‘safety’. And also allow guards to slap the filthy fifth graders mouth if need be!

    The progressives are calling Mr.La Pierre crazy and evil for proposing stationing armed guards at our schools. These same progressives also have no problem with 3,700 murdered aborted children every day. If you look objectively on the issues of school safety and abortion, it is very clear who cares about preserving life. (hint: it ain’t the progressives). I am convinced that every thought that enters a progressive’s mind is wicked. I’m no bible-thumper, but the way things are looking, God is about to go old testament on our a**es.

    Excellent Ad. Liberals are so clueless when it comes to safety, security, and overall foreign policy. Everytime they end up FN up things more often than not and then Republicans have to come in and clean up their mess.     The only gun control law that I would support is to BAN FIREARMS from all DEMOCRATS (liberals) and FELONS. There should be a new law restricting the purchasing, owning, handling and even looking at any firearm including, pistols, rifles, shotguns, muzzle loaders, air guns and even crossbows by any Democrat or Felon. I could only support such a law because, I am of the opinion that Democrats (Supportors of the President) and like minded individuals commit more crimes and crimes against other people than any other group of people in this country.

    This is the one month anniversary of the Sandy Hook Massacre
    Noah Posner’s mother was interviewed today about dropping her girls off at school.
    She walked them into the classroom. Here is what the said.

    “I was pleased to see the LEVEL OF SECURITY at the school, I mean, that certainly gave me
    some measure of reassurance as far as being able to walk away. Mostly what was on my mind was that it was the one month anniversary and I had one less child in the car.”

    I guess this grieving mother does not want Noah’s twin sister who survived the horrific shooting placed in a gun free zone. Neither do we!

    There is not a government program that provide safety and security to the wealthy. There are not two sets of rules.

    Anyway, safety and security measure for a community’s schools should be decided by the local school boards.

    If wealthy neighborhoods are able to maintain safer and more secure schools it is only because of this nation’s unjust income inequality..

    The NRA sound like commie pinkos lobbying to begin yet another entitlement program.

It is a terrible idea because most schools do not need them and the decision should be local – that is the purpose of a republic isnt it???? Why are the conservatives only conservative about the issues democrats support? big brother is big brother – even if the idea comes from a gun lobby

      Why doesnt NRA also tell you who will pay for the armed guards? Hint: it wont be the schools – they cant afford the extra cost. But the federal government would love to help out and sink their teeth even deeper into your local elementary school. Have Obama send in the union armed security thugs – sounds great! Forget armed guards – why not just have TSA checkpoints so they can grope our kids on the way in?

      Mary, Mary quite contrary and quite ignorant as well. The ad did not mention a fed program to provide security to the rich. It was pointing out that the rich and the powerful already have armed security and that they are trying to restrict that same basic right to all but those that can afford it.
      Question: If one of the guards at one of these elite schools flips out and shoots a student, do you think the school would get rid of all the guards to prevent a second incident or would they say that it was a rare occurrence and that the school was much better protected even with the possibility of this happening again?

      What the video says is the Administration is hypocritical because big media stars like Glenn Beck have Armed security. What Glenn Beck does with his money does not make the administration hypocritical. The Administration is not giving something to one group and not the other. The big media stars are acting independently. The administration can’t be called hypocritical because of someone else’s actions. unless….

      you believe that the administration is carrying out policies that favor an elite few and maintaining unjust and unfair wealth distribution. If the administration is maintaining a system that only allows an elite few certain benefits that others will never be able to obtain (no matter how hard they work) then that can be called hypocritical.

      Major flaw in your argument. “Commie pinkos” only want to take what does not belong to them.
      We are not asking for anything from the government. The inalieanable right to bear arms does not come from men or government.
      Freemen keep what belongs to them. The inalieanable right and responsibility to defend oneself, family and property is naturally from God.

      Government authority is suppose to sift the bad from the good by defending the good and punishing the bad. Not putting prohibitions on the good. The purpose of government is not to make those who do what is right, pay for those who do wrong.

      Early on Obama said the “Constitution consists of negative liberties, but it doesn’t state what the government can do”. Obama was right about the “negative liberties”. The Consitution negates/limits what those in government may do in order to preserve individual liberty. Obama and all the others who have sworn to uphold the Constitution are ignoring the law by not holding to the “negative liberties” that they swore to defend.

      You seem to be caught in the trap of identity politics.

      The NRA is in fact asking for something. So maybe they are not you and their is no “we”.

      The NRA is using class warfare, trying to get an emotional response by saying the wealthy are getting something you are not. Mr. Beck does it too, always talking about a Hollywood elite as an enemy because they live a life of privilege and pretending that he doesn’t.

      The NRA includes me because they are not asking the government to grant or give us anything which we do not already have. We are telling them, do not negate what belongs to us, our rights already spelled out in the Constitution, which they swore to uphold.

      What the “elite ” lawfully do in the private arena with their money is their business.

      What those who are in the public arena do with our tax money is our business. If they misuse and abuse the use of our taxes without the conscience to do otherwise then they give the impression of being elitists.

      They want a mandated armed presence at the nations schools.

      They are doing this by arguing there are two sets of rules, one for the rich and one for the poor.

      It’s a class warfare appeal.
      but It’s not true
      In fact, there are no rules like the ones to which they refer.

      I don’t recall the NRA advocating for the arming of teachers before the recent shootings. The response they gave “the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is to have a good guy with a gun” is correct, but the statement and the recommendation to arm people at schools was only that, a recommendation.

    This video by the NRA is beyond stupid and bad. Every American with any sense knows that our presidents AND their families have had protection since the beginning…no matter where they are.There are people who want their 15 minutes of “fame” by shooting a president or family member….and some have actually suceeded. Most of our larger….and many smaller…schools already have armed police or guards. But they cannot do much against a “bad” buy with hundreds of bullets and rapid fire guns. And if EVERYONE carries a gun around….we become an armed military state.. No one wants to ban ALL guns….just hopefully stop making so many military weapons readily available to just anyone…especially those with a problem….mental or stupidity. George HW Bush and Clinton and other recent presidents have issued executive orders on guns. But now that Pres. Obama does it…..OH NO !!!! He has no choice since the Congress is bought and paid for by NRA.

      Military weapons are NOT readily available to anyone. And the guns that were used in the massacres from Columbine to Newtown were not “rapid fire”. this is gross misinformation being fed to you by the MSM. The rifles/handguns used were semi-automatic, meaning one trigger pull, one bullet. And in case you forgot, Columbine occurred during the 1st Assault weapons ban–lotta good that did huh. When you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns. None of the laws in place stopped any of these shooters, what makes you think more laws will? Criminals dont care about laws!

      Presidents and their families didn’t always have armed guards….You don’t know a lot about what your talking about it seems, it was after a few incidents armed guards and security were thought of. Wtf is a rapid fire gun? That could literally mean every gun ever made. Also, if everyone carried a gun, we don’t become an armed military state, just an armed public which isn’t a bad thing. Military weapons aren’t available easily,cheapily, or readily to any civilian. You have no point and don’t know what your talking about, go to the back of the line.

    There is no government program that supplies armed guards to the Presidents friends. There are not two sets of rules.

    Anyway, safety and security measures for a community’s schools should be made by the school boards, not dictated by the Federal Government.

    If the rich folks have the resources to maintain more secure schools, that only illustrates the injustice of this nation’s income inequality.

    The NRA sounds like a group of commie pinkos wanting the government to fund another entitlement program.

      I can agree with that. In fact I would take it one step further and say the federal government has no business in schools whatsoever. Eliminate the Dept. of Ed.

    So NRA attack Obama for not liking their idea of armed guards in schools.. meanwhile today One of obama’s executive actions was proposing a new initiative that would incentivize police departments to hire more school resource officers and encourage schools to hire more mental health professionals.
    hehehe… NRA jumped the gun on this!
