Video: Group Armed With a Baseball Bat & Tire Iron Brutally Beats NYC Tourist

A tourist visiting New York City over the weekend took in more than mere sights and sounds. Kevin McCarron, 24, was brutally attacked by seven men who brandished a tire iron and a baseball bat. In the assault, which was captured on film, they inevitably beat him unconscious. The incident unfolded in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village, a popular area in the city. The Andover, Mass., resident, who sustained a fractured skull, is now recovering in a local hospital.

A portion of the shocking attack was captured on cell phone video. In the clip, McCarron can be seen on the ground, while being kicked and beaten repeatedly by the seven young men. As he attempts to stand up, they continuously punch and knock him back down. See the horrific incident, below (CONTENT WARNING):

“I started screaming for someone to call the police,” said the 25-year-old woman who captured the beating on video. “It was hard to watch.”

According to authorities, the event unfolded after two groups of young men got into an argument outside of Artichoke Pizza, a gourmet food establishment. While a motive surrounding what sparked the fight has yet to be released, The New York Daily News does pose a theory:

The violent rumble erupted after McCarron, from Andover, Mass., and his friends argued with their attackers while leaving Artichoke Pizza around 5:15 a.m.

One of the attackers may have been sitting on top of the car McCarron and his friends drove into the city, prompting a booze-fueled altercation between posses, a police source said.

Following the incident, the New York Police Department (NYPD) has detained two men — Hatem Farsakh, 24, and Sherif Rizk, 22 — both from Brooklyn. As for Farsakh, he is being charged with gang assault, assault and attempted murder.

The victim was taken to Weill Cornell Medical Center in serious condition, where he continues to recover from the brutal attack. Cops said that McCarron’s brother, Patrick, also sustained minor injuries.

Where is Al Sharpton on this? Better get that loud mouth whack job out there to call for a ban on tire irons and baseball bats. The article failed to point out that the names obviously indicate this was an attack by MUSLIM creeps. Where are the hate crime charges? What about CAIR? Why aren’t they denouncing these acts of violence? Nowhere and Holder and Obama the ***** won’t be saying anything either although it is right in his backyard.

Two things to take from this.
#1 Violent criminals will commit violent crimes regardless of law or weapons. If they can’t find guns they will use knives or bats or rocks and pointy sticks.
#2 The only way to deter or prevent #1 is for the law abiding citizen to defend themselves with firearms.

Mayor Doomberg, there are entirely too many tire irons and baseball bats in NYC. Everyone should be licensed and their owners backgrounds should be checked…after the shrink evaluates them. That seems logical….if you’re a dumb a$$ Liberal.

Ok–It is obvious what needs to happen here. We first need to make it a law that black people cannot own bats and tire irons, unless fingerprinted and registered. Next we need to pass a law that makes it a law that these people cannot have more than 3 people in a group. If they have 4 then it is a felony as they mean to commit a violent crime. We need more laws. Look how well these laws work in Chicago.

Do NOT invite New Yorkers to leave for “greener pastures”! Liberals are parasitic! I’m not exaggerating! There are lot’s of Libs who have left California for outlying States, because their VOTES made this a very miserable place to do anything that isn’t hedonistic or contrary to societal norms, like running a successful business, or seeing your hard-earned tax dollars NOT wasted profligately.

A perfect example of relying on the Government or the Police to protect you. The only person that can protect you is you. I don’t visit NYC anymore, if I did I would be carrying a firearm no matter what their dumb laws say. I’d rather be tried by a jury then carried yo my grave in a coffin.

pieceful moslems? Time to ban moslems and gangs?

I heard that there were CAMERAS on buildings everywhere in the “naked city” Do officials just sit and watch this stuff like it’s a tv drama….why are there not police instantly dispatched?

In the UK there are now whole zones near mosques where moslems patrol and non moslems cannot go near….it is NOT so great britian……looks like it is also not so new york. Moslems terrorize with words and threats and if that does on scare you they use rocks or anything they can get their hands on. No one will be safe anywhere with radical islam invading the country. That’s why they want to take guns…everyone will need to use rocks…that’s only “FAIR”.

And New York just made it harder to defend yourself. They are very unfriendly to conceal carry permit holders. Travel to New York at your own risk. It is a lefty haven and unfortunately a giant commode. Cuomo & Bloomberg? Cockroaches are far more attractive than these two nanny state freaks. I am sorry for all the conservatives who are stuck in New York who have to drink the yeast infected Kool-Aid. Stay far away from New York!!!

I’ll bet a lot of New Yorkers wished they never dumped Giuliani. Instead, they opted for a little Nero with a Caesar complex. You see, they’re just too…erahhh, busy…erahhh, to run their own lives, and need to be nannified a la Bloomberg, to see them safely through each day.

This is the kind of barbarism found all over gun-free UK, and what Piers Morgan thinks is an acceptable alternative to gun ownership. He wants to take guns from Americans so this kind of chaos reigns.
