Stunning Video: Man Throws Woman on Philly Subway Tracks During Vicious Attack

PHILADELPHIA (TheBlaze/AP) — Transit police in Philadelphia have arrested a man who allegedly threw a woman on the subway tracks at a station in the city’s Chinatown neighborhood.

Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) police say the attack happened around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday when the man approached the woman on the subway platform and asked for a light. Surveillance video shows the suspect then moved closer and began beating her.

Authorities say the man grabbed the woman by her ankles and threw here onto the tracks before walking away with her phone. It was unclear if he knew her.

SEPTA Police Chief Thomas Nestell says the woman was able to climb off the tracks and suffered only bumps and bruises.

Police say they arrested the man around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, identifying him by his jacket. NBCPhiladelphia.com reports the attacker is William Clark, pictured below:

But the capture of Clark isn’t without controversy. While the attack happened on Tuesday, police did not go public with the footage until Thursday. That was a calculated decision according to SEPTA Chief of Police Thomas Nestel. That’s because police didn’t want the man ditching his very distinct jacket.

“He gets rid of that coat and I lose my best chance to get a dangerous man off the streets,” Nestel explained to the news outlet.

It’s a good thing the police were right there to protect that woman, otherwise she could have been injured. It’s especially fortunate she didn’t have a gun to protect herself, otherwise the poor attacker might have been injured!
It would be nice to see a revised picture of Wm. Clark with a bullet hole between his eyes.

The proper application of high-velocity lead would have prevented or ended this attack.

black culture today – sons of Cain – they (not all) are all about sex, violence and taking what doesn’t belong to them. You can read stories in any local people without pictures and pretty much figure out who has committed the crimes.

Typical ****** behavior. And you can see by the poor quality of this video, that these people don’t take cameras or security seriously. THERE’S NO REASON IN THIS HIGH-TECH TIME OF OURS TO USE SUCH TRASH TECHNOLOGY. PEOPLE WHO CARED WOULD BUY DECENT CAMERAS.

  This crap has been going on for decades and decades. The black man is a trouble maker. A cretin, unable to assimilate into a civilized society. They have practically ruined this great country with their gutter culture. Hang out with them at your own risk. I absolutely want nothing to do with them. I give everybody a chance. I have met a lot of good black folks. But I have met zillions of them that I could just tell hated my white guts for no reason whatsoever. You can sense the hatred in them. They are the most hate filled people on this planet. I am talking about the American born blacks. Not real Africans. They are actually quite nice people. Not seething with anger like USA born because the cannot compete on an equal playing field. They must be given special status and quotas in order to survive. Employers must be forced to hire them.

Good reason for conceal carry! The attack would have been stopped. That’s the purpose of deadly force… to stop an attack. Or the opposite side of the spectrum you kill 300 plus people like Obama with his Fast & Furious crimes.

  If she would have shot that goon she would be prosecuted to the fullest extent. You are not allowed to shoot a black guy if you are a snowman. Only blacks are allowed to shoot other blacks. She wouldn’t have had the guts to do so anyway. She would rather spend 500 dollars on a phone than on a gun to defend herself. The phone is way more important you know.

B/S! That Police Chief is a liar. The video was held back until AFTER Oby’s gun control speech and exec. orders. The Police tell how it’s better to hold “some reports” back in order not to alarm the general public. This report was held back to keep the gun control agenda from going south before “Obama’s Youth” could line up in front of the cameras. If a train would have come, the Philly city crew would have had the remains cleaned up so fast it would make your head spin. And you can bet your **** that if the crime would have been negative for the gun argument, that Chief would have had the story all over the channels so Oby could be our shining savior. The timing of the release of this story is the same old ball game for Obama and his SS. VERY sad that it wasn’t released prior to his “epic speech”. He would have been like Porky Pig (ubba ubba ubba…).
