Wait, Did Lance Armstrong Lie to Oprah During His Apology?

Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong sat down with Oprah Winfrey earlier this week to publicly apologize for lying to his fans and the American public about his “doping” habits.
However, according to ABC News, while supposedly “coming clean” about “juicing,” Armstrong may have lied to his Oprah.
ABC News explains:
Armstrong, 41, admitted for the first time that his decade-long dominance of cycling and seven wins in the Tour de France were owed, in part, to performance-enhancing drugs and oxygen-boosting blood transfusions. He told Winfrey that he was taking the opportunity to confess to everything he had done wrong, including angrily denying reports for years claiming that he had doped.
Investigators familiar with Armstrong’s case, however, said today that Armstrong didn’t completely come clean. They say he blatantly lied about when he stopped doping, saying the last time he used the drugs and transfusions was the 2005 race.
“That’s the only thing in this whole report that upset me,” Armstrong said during the interview. “The accusation and alleged proof that they said I doped [in 2009] is not true. The last time I crossed the line, that line was 2005.”
“You did not do a blood transfusion in 2009?” Winfrey asked.
“No, 2009 and 2010 absolutely not,” Armstrong said.
However, contrary to what Armstrong says, investigators familiar with his “juicing” disagree with his version of events.
“They said today that Armstrong’s blood values at the 2009 race showed clear blood manipulation consistent with two transfusions,” ABC News reports. “Armstrong’s red blood cell count suddenly went up at these points, even though the number of baby red blood cells did not.”
Bottom line: Armstrong received a transfusion of mature red blood cells, according to investigators.
“If Armstrong lied about the 2009 race, it could be to protect himself criminally,” investigators said.
Wow. If the investigators are right, and Armstrong did indeed lie during his interview with Oprah, what’s the penalty for lying to your confessor?
Exit Question: Why is he confessing to Oprah anyway? Did we miss something?

Posted on January 19, 2013 at 3:45pmAsk me if I care about Armstrong or the big O’s. Either she or Obama are not important when it comes too their contribution to the Republic. No doubt, Obama considers the Armstrong situation
a “crisis not too be wasted”, just like the school shooting.

I am not a white supremacist, I am a white survivalist!
Boycotts and other civil non-cooperation methods need to be an ongoing movement against any who involve themselves in the demise of White Males in this country, some big effect starters would be the boycott of all things, Hollywood, hit where it hurts, take away their income, find out who the major players of the liberal media are find ways of non- cooperation, boycott there programs all, absolutely stop attending professional sports events, take that income away from those who laugh at white males behind their backs, let professional sports DIE, let Hollywood DIE, let the news media DIE, their controllers all support each other in the demise of White Males in this country.
White conservative Males need to unite in a national strong bond, exercising civil non-cooperation in all things that make this country work, if they have a any kind of a problem, let them fix it, if white males were to stop cooperating in all situations where those who hate them , but depend on them need their help, I say stop helping them to destroy you.BUT, shun liberals and Gays, they can do what they do, but they need to change their ways, they are wrong in what they do AND THEY KNOW IT! Everyone cheats….. well, let me rephrase that, everyone winning pushes the rules and tries to win. Eventually, those that try and compete legally, give up and try something to win.
AND WE make them into our hero’s
Look at Smokey Yunick, Junior Johnson (also a moonshiner), Carroll Shelby. MY GOD Carroll Shelby would sit and laugh and would reminisce OPENLY about his ideas and success cheating.
I played baseball in high school…….. HIGH SCHOOL and was given speed by the COACH!
By the way… something to pick you up was NORMAL in baseball, from high school to big league. Babe Ruth… did drugs and drank and caroused.
Have we stripped any of these people of their records and celebrity. NO… we’ve continued to laugh at their stories and enjoy their books and put them up on a pedestal
We crucify certain hero’s, for what ever reason we need at the time. Maybe to make us feel better….I don’t know. Maybe to bring them down to size.
We push these people, idolize them, and pressure them into thinking they need to win at any cost.
Carroll Shelby – Loved, Junior Johnson – Loved, the BABE…well, he was the BABE! Maybe we don’t like Lance Armstrong. I mean, he acts arrogant… so crucify him, right?
If we did this, retroactively, to ALL our hero’s…. we’d be burning ALL of our record books!
He got away with it.. and we cheered in PRIDE for America. HE WAS our hero…
ANY of his competitors, that claim they didn’t cheat, are L

I was TOLD to take this or that, or I wouldn’t get to play.
For anyone that HAS NOT competed. It isn’t always the competitor that makes the decision to cheat. QUIT OFTEN, we’re forced into it. QUITE often, as in MY case, athletes quit. But for that, we’er labeled a quitter.
And you wonder WHY athletes cheat…………………..
Gee, Juice……….. millions of dollars……..your a hero…………
Stand up for your values……. labeled a loser and quitter………
yeah…..that’s a hard one to figure out….

Posted on January 18, 2013 at 11:58pmWish there were some way to make all the players of ALL games fess up about doping. Bet you’d find most of them have done it.
Most of those guys would never have the endurance they show unless they’re taking something. But it could be things that are used by most of us; across the counter vitamins, raw honey, things Michelle says we should all eat. Lying isn’t good Lance, but then, look who else lies constantly, all the time.

Posted on January 18, 2013 at 11:38pmThe biggest question in this is WHY did he want to do the Oprah interview. What was his motivation? We all had already written him off as a liar and cheat. We didn’t need his confession to convince us of anything. Did he think coming clean after being caught counts for anything? It doesn’t, unless sincere repentance comes with it. I’m not sure I see that in him. So, why would he make a big public confession, when doing so may well open him up to a decade or more of lawsuits that could bankrupt him? I just don’t see his motivation in the whole thing. The only good motivation I can see would be to ask forgiveness, but I didn’t see that.
