What Made Lance Armstrong Finally Crack in His Interview With Oprah?
Disgraced cycling star Lance Armstrong has finally come clean about years of doping. But one thing that seemed to be missing from his confession interview with Oprah Winfrey? Raw emotion.
That changed Friday night, the second part of the 2 1/2-hour interview. Armstrong cracked.
“I saw my son defending me and saying, ‘That’s not true. What you’re saying about my dad is not true,’” Armstrong told Winfrey.
That was the moment, he said, when he knew he had to tell the truth. He said his son never asked him if the drug allegations were true: “He trusted me.”
“And, uh, I told Luke, I said,” Armstrong started, before pausing for a long moment to compose himself. “I said, ‘Don’t defend me anymore. Don’t.’”

Posted on January 19, 2013 at 3:00pmSo Armstrong comes clean not because he felt guilty for destroying others lives or for honor but to assuage the guilt he felt for making his kid lie. He could live with lying to make money and promote his own brand and put himself in the history books but only because of the guilt of making his own kid unknowing lie is it worth telling the truth. Truly a piece of human garbage.

Posted on January 19, 2013 at 10:09pmAgreed -who cares. They ALL dope in that profession. Just try watching the Tour de France. It’s insanely impossible. I have cycled competitively (mountain biking) and it comes down to fitness only above skills. Truth is all of Lance’s competitors were doping as well. This all needs to be dropped and we need to move on to BIGGER liars like, um Barack Obama?

Posted on January 21, 2013 at 1:02pmNotice you didn’t see that POS Oprah campaigning last year for her hero Obama. Moochelle Obama put an end to their friendship right after Obama was elected. Too late. I’ll never watch Oprah again. She was apolitical until a liberal black dude ran for president. Then she was out everywhere trying to convince whites to vote for him. Sorry Oprah, you burned your bridge with a lot of whites and I’ll never watch you or your channel. In fact, I hope your network goes off the air.

Posted on January 19, 2013 at 2:04pmI think the public is much to blame for all this. We spend hundreds of dollars for tickets to watch professional athletes do their thing….be it football, baseball ,basketball, nascar, whatever. These athletes receive contracts worth millions of dollars, which makes them think they are totally invincible and can do no wrong, If we didn’t watch or attend these “functions” there would be no audience. But of course, you have to remember…it is a profitable business for both owners of teams and players, and the government also profits from the tax it brings in. Spread your wealth (Joe) gotta pay for those free phones

Posted on January 19, 2013 at 1:17pmWho made Oprah the arbitrator of truth? She helped Obama usurp the Presidency!
Obama is not a “natural born citizen” eligible to serve as President pursuant to Article 2, Section 1, of the Constitution![1]
Furthermore his proven identity anomalies i.e., fraudulent birth certificate, altered Selective Service Registration, stolen CT SS#, and aliases: Barry Soetoro, Harrison J. Bounel, Barack Soebarkah, indicate he is not even a U.S. citizen.[2]
Supreme Court Chief Justice Roberts set 2/15/2013 for the full court to hear a case regarding Obama’s forged identity in conference.
http://www.orlytaitzesq.com/?p=375765
Justice Thomas has admitted they’re evading Obama’s ineligibility.[3] Pray he speaks up again to urge his colleagues to finally enforce the Constitution!

They know the damage it can do to their bodies so as Milton Friedman would say let them be free to choose.

“He beat the French at their own game.”
He also wrecked peoples careers, bullied people mercilessly, sued people into oblivion, publicly called a woman a whore when she accused him of doping, lied under oath, etc. And his posse joined in as well, with Armstrong associates heaping venom upon people who were simply telling the truth, and even making veiled death threats against “enemies”. But hey, at least it gave your ignorant self an opportunity for some French-bashing.

Posted on January 19, 2013 at 11:09amI think he is sincere at that particular moment of the interview, but for Lance Armstrong, is it just about too little, too late? I’ve seen people in worse cases, who were able to repent and change their lives for the better. I hope he is able to do that. I don’t condone what he’s done, but I believe the Atonement of Jesus Christ was for everyone… We all have our own versions of that “Lance Armstrong” fork in the road. Posted on January 19, 2013 at 11:07amLook he may well be a huge jerk and he did dope but regardless I will always be amazed at what he accomplished in a field full of cheaters and thieves (the French couldn’t breath without cheating, the Italians practically invented it in cycling) They all cheat. The Tour de France is without a doubt the most grueling and prestigious of all cycling races. It is a European race designed for Europeans to win. It is their race. that being said rumors of doping/cheating go back to it’s origin in 1903. For an American to win it once, is an incredible feat. Aside from the incredible physical demands there is also the political obstacles. Let’s face it, Europeans hate America .. Especially when it comes to sports. they will do almost anything to ensure we lose. Greg LeMond won 3. he was the first American to win and he did it without doping. This makes his wins so much more important and amazing. Regardless I tip my hat to any American who has the physical stamina, intelligence, and raw courage to tackle the Tour. Taking it to the Europeans on their turf and beating them is really something. So I am in favor of giving Armstrong a break. He has lost everything and most likely will never be allowed to participate in any sport let alone cycling in his lifetime. For what? Doing what everyone else does? Being a jerk? After all he didn’t murder anyone. He didn’t rape or sexually abuse anyone.
