San Antonio Mayor Predicts: Texas Is Going Purple Soon

San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro (D) on Sunday predicted that red state juggernaut Texas will soon go “purple” and then finally blue.

“In a couple of presidential cycles, you’ll be on election night, you’ll be announcing we’re calling the 38 electoral votes of Texas for the Democratic nominee for president,” Castro told CBS News’Β Bob Schieffer on “Face the Nation.”

Castro continued,”It’s changing. It’s going to become a purple state and then a blue state, because of the demographics, because of the population growth of folks from outside of Texas, and because, unfortunately, the Republican Party has gone so far to the right that they’re losing the business community. They’re losing the middle.”

Castro delivered the keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in September and appeared on the show Sunday with his twin brother, newly-elected Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas).

Joaquin Castro agreed, though added that it’s “not going to happen on its own.”

“The demographics are changing, but it’s going to take a lot of work from Democrats to lay the infrastructure for change. So we’re very busy working on that now,” he said.

Castro was reared by an unwed mother deeply embedded in LaRaza (The Rebel), a very communistic group. Main speaker at Dem Convention said “We all belong to the government”. he is emulating Obama & is aiming to be the 1st Mex. prez. He just wrote his autobio book just came out.
Now for San Antonio, it has had a majority of mexican population for over 50 yrs. so he is taking credit & shouldn’t. S.A & El Paso have property tax rates as high as New jersey due to the high # of mexs, so we have to pay their share.(never talked about in media, only that Tx doesn’t have state tax).
castro just tried to cercomvent the school tax laws by trying to raise sales tax to pay for pre-kindergarten and he failed.
It is possible to go blue b/c so many are moving here from blue states b/c those states are failing. It happened to Colorado.

1871 – Even after the civil war, the North and South Hated each other, but we had to continue as one.
Still under Emergency Powers, our Goverment created a Corporation to carry on Gov’t business. They trademarked the name ‘United States’ among others and began operating America from that Corporation.

1913 – U.S. Corp was broke and had to turn to the world’s richest men for help. The Federal Reserve PRTIVATE Bank and the Federal Reserve Act was born. Income tax begins. A contract is agreed upon. (some say a 20 year contract)

1933 – U.S. Corp declares Bankruptcy and under international U.C.C. Law has to surrender it’s ASSETS as Collateral to the PRIVATE BANK.
GOLD, the GOV’T, LAND and PEOPLE are Pledged.

1936 – Social Security Begins. This is simply a bond (evidence of debt) that belongs to the PRIVATE BANK. The needed a database of their collateral. That is why you became a number.

1944 – The lien to the bankrupt U.S. is transfered to the IMF and World Bank at Bretton Woods.

1945 – IMF and World Bank Create the U.N. and become the creditors of the U.S.

1992 – America is sold to Investors, Foreign and Domestic.

2000 – The year that the Global Elite wanted to have
      their NEW WORLD ORDER

2013 – 13 years behind schedule because of Americans that “cling to their bibles and GUNS”

Texas, like any state can turn. It’s not magical, it’s not rocket science. It’s a game of numbers. If the number of people on welfare grows great enough, and are encouraged to vote, then it will happen without a doubt.

A very large percentage of people, I suspect greater than 50%; will always take the easy path if it’s available. If it’s not then they will work and perhaps gain pride in their accomplishments, but if Welfare is easy to get then eventually the forces of darkness will win by virtue of it’s ease.

To all those fanatics residing in Texas:

Go ahead and secede and you will get cut down by the federal government, many innocent people would die, you would be further demonized, your family would gone, and your state destroyed. You can only leave by violent secession and that would be the outcome. I really believe you have not thought this one fully out and, if you have, then you shouldn’t be owning a gun right now. I know people can only take so much before there’s blowback but violence is only what the government wants. Besides, those screaming for secession are all talk.

btw there seems to be this false idea that if Texas falls then America is dead. There are patriots across the country like me who love our country and don’t look at Texas as this huge last beacon of freedom. It’s insulting at best and entirely inaccurate. There are other states that have pushed back against the federal government, perhaps more than Texas – such as Arizona and Wyoming – that love the Constitution of the USA.

@13A You might be right. Bloodshed may be inevitable. Given human history, it is pretty much a foregone conclusion. But the whole idea that red and blue have any meaning is a fallacy. It is a falsehood to keep you feeling tribally angry and to keep you from focusing on the real problem. Our country is being taken over by the very institution we put in place to govern. It is out of control and is becoming fearless about it. I don’t fear what is coming, NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY. Because, in the end, we will be free again, the way it was intended.

On my favorite thrift store, they have one day where everything of one color tag is 99 cents. The notion that conservatives do not like ‘non-whites’ (Mexicans) is false, especially here in Texas.

Don’t confuse wanting to crack down on ‘illegal’ immigrants with wanting to stop ALL immigration.

Securing the border and asking people to use the ‘front door’ is not a declaration of racism, rather it shows our dedication to the law.

Looks to me like he is running scared. San Antonio has be democrat way too long. One of their former mayors wanted them to pay $5 billion dollars so his buddies could get rid of their manufacturing waste; fluoride a by product from making of aluminum and fertilizer. He lost but because he did such a great job of trying to steal tax payer dollars they brought him to DC to try and steal again. He served time for fraud but then was able to get back into politics again. Democrats when they lose elections seem to either be appointed to another office in their organization (democrat party) or one of their media companies CBS, NBC, CNN, etc. But they never have to go back into private life to make their living. Clinton got his job of speaking to more democrat supporters for more money and power. Al did a good job for them on “global warming” making billions all the democrats condemn the very rich while working to be very rich. Soros to keep drilling out of America as he owns oil companies outside of America. Follow the money trail see politicians and their money comes from is where they vote. Talk about insider trading. . It’s the Republicans fault – they spent the last 4 years trying to alienate everyone outside the Tea Party and the religious right. It’s their unforced errors and shift to the far right that is spelling their doom.

You can’t have Micelle Bachmann and Rick Santorum being the face of your party and expect to capture the center. One is a complete moron and the other is so far right (and so sanctimonious with his religiosity) that they immediately alienate moderates.

Back in the fifties “patriots” like you caught the whole “deport them all” fever, and started deporting “illegals”. The problem was, many of these illegals were not in fact illegal. Didn’t matter, though; they had brown skin, so they were ordered on the truck, and eventually taken by train deep into Mexico, after which American citizens who had been wrongly deported had to work their own way (often without anything but the clothes on their back) back to the states. A horrible injustice–and yet I bet one of your great regrets in life (other than your parents naming you Joe Bob) is that you didn’t get to take part in it.

Texas needs to stop the progressive cancer these folks are trying to foment. They will ruin what makes Texas successful, free & unique. This guy is no moderate. His mother, Rosie helped found a radical, anti-white, socialist Chicano party called La Raza Unida (literally β€œThe Race United”) that sought to create a separate countryβ€”Aztlanβ€”in the Southwest. And when the demographics change to the point where blue rules everywhere, the left will laugh at what was once economic powerhouse of the nation, the hard working, self-reliant conservatives. Once gone, the economy will totally collapse and we can all laugh at each other as we drain down the tubes. Sure, you can try to take our prosperity and liberties now, but in the end you will also loose…loose your redistributed ill-gotten gains, and eventually your entitlements will totally dry up. Actually having to pay taxes to vote is not a bad idea at all. Maybe not paying a tax at the polls per se but I don’t think you should be able to vote (how to spend the money) if you don’t pay anything into the government in taxes. One great way to get spending and taxes under control is to make everyone pay something. Then everyone will be invested on controlling spending and taxes. As it is now only half the people have any interest in keeping spending under control

Um, no. That’s simply not true. And Castro is actually correct–I detailed the reasons why somewhat thoroughly soon after the election, but I’ll try to just give you the main points here:
      1) Texas has a large Hispanic population.
      2) Hispanics are increasingly moving away from the Republican party due to both the open and tacit racism that has wormed its way into the party.
As the Hispanic population continues to grow, Texas will move further tot he Left. Don’t believe me–just ask Jeb Bush, who said, “”Four years from now, Texas is going to be a so-called blue state.” I think it will take longer than 4 years (crossing my fingers for 2020), but the trend is clear.
