San Antonio Mayor Predicts: Texas Is Going ‘Purple’ Soon

San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro (D) on Sunday predicted that red state juggernaut Texas will soon go “purple” and then finally blue.

“In a couple of presidential cycles, you’ll be on election night, you’ll be announcing we’re calling the 38 electoral votes of Texas for the Democratic nominee for president,” Castro told CBS News’ Bob Schieffer on “Face the Nation.”

Castro continued,”It’s changing. It’s going to become a purple state and then a blue state, because of the demographics, because of the population growth of folks from outside of Texas, and because, unfortunately, the Republican Party has gone so far to the right that they’re losing the business community. They’re losing the middle.”

Castro delivered the keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in September and appeared on the show Sunday with his twin brother, newly-elected Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas).

Joaquin Castro agreed, though added that it’s “not going to happen on its own.”

“The demographics are changing, but it’s going to take a lot of work from Democrats to lay the infrastructure for change. So we’re very busy working on that now,” he said.

If Texas ever turns “blue” or starts to even lean in that direction, I will be convinced that the elections are truly rigged more than what they are now.

Ok. Here’s a thought.

Does any logical person here think that any of the following states will turn “red” ever again, or anytime soon:

CA, WA, IL, MI, WI, NY, PA, MD, DE, NJ, CT, MA, RI

Probably not, right?

Well, those 13 states account for 211 electoral votes.

(Thats not even counting HI, NH, VT, ME, OR, or DC, which is another 29)

If Texas is ever added to that mix, the total will be 249 electoral votes. That’s only 21 electoral votes short.

If that happens, the Republicans will probably never again win a national election.

We better pray that Texas stays “red” or else we’re in even deeper trouble than we all think.

Texas a very important target for collectivists for many reasons. Texas will likely go left/down simply because there is no opposition to collectivists, i.e., no defense of individual freedom, free markets, and property rights.

Conservatives are not fighting back. They don’t even believe there is a war, let alone seek to fight in it. Conservatives pray, and go to work, and send their sons and daughters to die for “god and country”, and hope the rest will go away with the next election cycle when they’ll slavishly vote for the “lesser of evils”. They don’t fight unless they are told to do so by their pol or priest masters. Their pols and priests are compromised. They are woefully ignorant of the enemy and its capabilities–sheep for the inevitable slaughter.

This is a ‘quiet’ war only to those who haven’t opened their eyes.

We can and are being subverted, from top to bottom, by collectivists, aka, democrats, communists, progressives, liberals, etc.

America and freedom has a chance to survive only if/when Americans really wake up to see what is being done to them. This is an international movement against the belief system of Americans, against capitalism, against individual freedom. The collectivists are winning this fight at the moment, but only because there is virtually no opposition.

Remember, they don’t have to change our constitution–they only have to change our minds.

Wake up and fight, Americans.

These Latinos want to take over our country more than we want to preserve it.

It is long past the time we demand the border be closed, a 5 year moratorium placed on all immigration, and then return to the policies that maintained our culture and society; i.e., a % allocated to each country so that we never have to see a smirking, swarmy man such as Castro inform us of a Latino take over in our country that will benefit only the likes of Gutierrez, Menendez, and Castro.

Simply said, we cannot AFFORD 15 to 20 million Hispanics. We cannot pay for all this welfare cheats and liars. We cannot keep affording to take in people into the USA by Government programs which repeatedly take people and put them on welfare and food stamps and they watch TV all day long. We have been doing this for decades. The United States needs to STOP being the World’s Big Brother and get rid of it’s Messiah Complex and just stop it already! My parents repeatedly told me and my siblings, “NO! We cannot afford that.” The United States needs to halt all immigration applications and start deporting people. The USA does not even have jobs for all its legal citizens. Why is that? Because there are at least 15 to 20 million people are illegally, being paid under the table, in cash, and getting welfare, and food stamps, and education, and emergency room services, and not paying a DAMN DIME for any of it. Cheats and Liars! This is Criminal Activity! Deportation Now!

Texas may be going purple. The reason? Demographics. As long as the scourge of illegal immigration exists, there will simply be more of them than real Texans. In addition, because the institution of marriage and family is no longer central to American society, how can the culture continue to persist? Caucasian birth rates are just hovering over sustaining while Muslims and Latinos have exploded. Gaddafi was correct in saying that a shot never has to be fired in order to take over societies. Breed and expand their populations. Then such people will gain control of the ballot box and the direction of the country. That is not speculation, it is pure math and the extrapolation of data.

Unfortunately he’s probably right. As people leave California, New York and other liberal states, they re-make their new home into the place they just left – without understanding that they are the problem in the first place. They’re like locusts who move from place to place devouring everything in their path. They did it to Colorado and other states. Texas won’t be far behind.

I just looked and 41.4% voted for Obama in Texas. I remember seeing this on election night thinking to myself, “that seems like a lot”. The lower 9 counties on the Mexcio side was so overwelmingly for Obama its not funny. With wins like 76% to 22%. for about 150,000 votes. Just estimating that number but in Hidlago county it was 97, 800 to 39, 700. With that being said in the counties Mitt took his numbers were just as lopsided.

However, I think the map shows, fairly simply, areas where Rupublicans better get into in the immediate future. They may want to stop neglecting it so much during election. I live in Arlington and I am meeting more and more democrats.

There were a lot of northern democrats who moved here on the last decade because of the jobs and freedom and way of life only to immediately start changing it to a more liberal area. Because I believe the liberals are much more vocal and of course get all of the media it seems like so many more than there really are.
