Sen. Ted Cruz: Obama Started Trying to ‘Exploit’ Newtown Tragedy ‘Within Minutes’

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) on Sunday accused President Barack Obama of starting “within minutes” to “exploit” the Newtown, Conn. elementary school massacre for political gain.

“Within minutes of that horrible tragedy in Newtown, the president began trying to exploit that tragedy to push a gun control agenda that is designed to appeal to partisans, designed to appeal to his political partisans,” Cruz said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Obama’s only vow on the day of the shooting last month was to take “meaningful action” to prevent future tragedies. He formally rolled out his gun control proposals last week, which included calls for new bans on “military-style assault weapons” and high-capacity ammunition magazines.

Cruz said the new proposals “would have done zero to prevent the crime in Newtown.”

“Number two, many of the provisions are contrary to the constitutional protections of the Second Amendment, and number three, they don’t work,” he said.

Cruz, who was elected in November with Tea Party support, has been at the forefront of the anti-gun control fight. On “Meet the Press,” he called the expired assault weapons ban one of the “least successful bills that has ever put in place.”

“When the ban expired there were roughly 700 murders using all rifles,” he said. “Today there are roughly 300, that’s less than half — this is not designed to actually solve the problem of violent crime, this is designed to assuage liberal partisans who want to push gun control.”

GUN CONTROL when you a In the early morning hours of Sunday, March 16 Carolyn Warren and Joan Taliaferro who shared a room on the third floor of their rooming house at 1112 Lamont Street Northwest in the District of Columbia, and Miriam Douglas, who shared a room on the second floor with her four-year-old daughter, were asleep. The women were awakened by the sound of the back door being broken down by two men later identified as Marvin Kent and James Morse. The men entered Douglas’ second floor room, where Kent forced Douglas to sodomize him and Morse raped her.
Warren and Taliaferro heard Douglas’ screams from the floor below. Warren telephoned the police, told the officer on duty that the house was being burglarized, and requested immediate assistance. The department employee told her to remain quiet and assured her that police assistance would be dispatched promptly.
Warren’s call was received at Metropolitan Police Department Headquarters at 0623 hours, and was recorded as a burglary-in-progress. At 0626, a call was dispatched to officers on the street as a “Code 2″ assignment, although calls of a crime in progress should be given priority and designated as “Code 1.” Four police cruisers responded to the broadcast; three to the Lamont Street address and one to another address to investigate a possible suspect. (This suggests that when they heard that there had been a burglary, the police must have felt that they had a promising lead on a culprit.)

  Wow, I watched the video. They were actors. At first I just didn’t believe anything so diabolical could be done. Then I remembered a Beck show about the Czars and one of them saying “people are going to be saying there are conspiracies but don’t believe them” or something of that sort. The evidence in this video is too compelling. The teacher had a F/B page created that said R.I.P. 4 days b-4 it happened and the Victims Fund was created the day b-4. The guy in the driveway belongs to the screen actors guild and most of the people there were from crisisactors.com. Emily who was supposed to have been shot was in photos with Obama after the shooting wearing the same dress. And it just goes on and on. There is only one still shot of a few children in a line in the parking lot. There are no other children or teachers that go in or out of the building. Only 1 ambulance blocks away. I HAVE A REALLY HARD TIME BELIEVING THIS HAPPENED no matter what actor says otherwise now. Where is the Truth? I have heard from some military sources that Lana’s mother was CIA. Well of course, it was his false flag event and by God he was going to
take advantage of it. He made sure the dupe was dead and the two real
shooters were cleared out of there (wouldn’t want any CIA implications).
Think about it, most of the dead were killed by 223 rounds, the dupe
only had two handguns (not 223 for those of you unfamiliar). We know from
original police reports, one shooter arrested outside the school and
students witnessed the arrest of another shooter inside the school.
We were duped again and if they can’t get the legislation to disarm
us this time there will be another CIA inspired shooting until the govt.
gets what it wants, the citizens disarmed. Then they can have their dictatorship.

Many of us have been saying that from the day of this terrible tragedy. First, 5 hours after the start of the event, Bloomberg has press conference. 28 minutes later Feinstein and Shumer jump in. We, as people watching the event via TV unfold, didn’t even have the basic facts and the leftist loons were calling for BANS and LAWS and other useless babble.
In my opinion they were waiting prepared for the next event and were ready to pounce and push their agenda.
They have now awaken the sleeping giants. (heard that somewhere before) I upgraded my NRA membership to Patron now. Sending them 30 bucks a month on top. Join the parade.

Of course Obama exploited the Sandy Hook shooting from day 1. That’s a given. But what’s not a given is the official story of a “lone gunman”. The lone nutjob scenario is one thing, bringing a kind of closure to the story where the authorities can spoon feed a story of a lone madman to the gullible (or complicit?) media and then it is written in stone ever after to be used by those to further their agenda. But a multiple shooter scenario is an entirely different animal altogether. Such a scenario speaks not of a lone, crazed gunman, but an organized, cold, calculating, unfathomable undercurrent of evil.

The regime will beat the hell out of the GOP once again. They ask for a repeal of the 2nd Amendment, and will settle for a mental health ban. Already they are setting in place the reporting of patients, by their doctors. for suspected mental issues. ALL doctors will be required to report ALL patients for POSSIBLE problems and no one will qualify for a gun purchase.

I am slightly concerned about Sandy Hook and the story of how it all went down. Saw a YouTube video about 30 minutes long about how it’s all made up. The initial reporting was that the Bushmaster was in the trunk, then it was the gun that killed everyone, but I saw video of the cops removing the Bushmaster from the trunk. How could the kid have killed anyone with a gun that was in the trunk. Also, the facebook pages that were set up in memory of the kids were set up more than 2 days in advance of the shooting. Someone even commented on it, noting the date and the comment was deleted. The State of Connecticut had a FEMA and Homeland Security disaster involving children drill in Bridgeport that day, it was listed on the State of Connecticut’s FEMA website, for the same time that the event occurred in Sandy Hook. Bridgeport is only 20 minutes away. There was aerial video all day of the area around Sandy Hook and there didn’t seem to be any ambulances or anything in front of the school. Everything was parked way down the long road away from the school, like that was where everybody parked before the big game or something. The medical examiner’s press conference was a joke, he was laughing and joking and was basically so unprofessional I couldn’t believe this was the guy that replaced Dr. Henry Lee. Am I crazy to think that Sandy Hook was made up?

There is a story at newmax that says 0 has enough votes in both houses of Congress to pass gun control. I say Pusillanimous Congress a pox on both your houses.

No one is bound to obey an unconstitutional law.
Treaties do not confer powers not authorized by the US Constitution.

I cannot believe this is all happening. It is so creepy and horrible. Why do they want us defenseless with all the gangs and criminals with guns and police not responsible to defend us?

I can’t believe that the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, (which has the highest number of licensed hunters in the US and second largest malitia of armed citizens in the world,), is not passing legislation to protect our gun rights from the Feds. Only China has a large armed military and soldiiers.

Lawyer Orly Taitz hand delivered a box of evidence to Judge Roberts, after another box, which was delivered by Fed Ex, and signed for, – disappeared.
Previous cases have been dismissed by cowardly and/or corrupt judges on the most frivolous of grounds. IE: Judge England declared that, as in the movie “Miracle on 344th Street, a man was declared to be Santa Claus because the US Post Office delivered mail to him, the judge was declaring Obama to be president because he slept in the White House and flew on Air Force One.
