CNN host Piers Morgan continued his anti-gun rhetoric Sunday, tweeting: “The only civilians who ‘need’ an AR-15 assault rifle are those who want to commit mass murder. That’s what they do. #killingmachines.”
The British citizen has been outspoken in his support for stronger gun control measures in the United States, particularly in the wake of the tragedy at Sandy Hook last month.
A little over a week ago, the White House was forced to respond to a petition signed by more than 100,000 people seeking to deport the television host over his views. “Keep the First [Amendment]” in mind when defending the second, they suggested.

Morgan will not tell you that of the average 100 murders in the US, les than three of them were committed with a rifle of any type.
He will not tell you that the AR is commonly used in the shooting sport of 3-gun
He will not tell you that Americans own 88 guns per 100 people but there are 27 nations with higher murder rates. He will not tell you that Honduras only has 6.6 guns per 100 people, and leads the world in murder
He will not tell you that of the over 500 murders in Chicago, the weapons of choice was the handgun.
He will not tell you that in America, blacks make up 12.5% of the population, and do 1/2 of all murders. One half of murder victims in the US last year, were young black males. If we could lower the black murder rates to the same as whites, we would drop our murder per capita rates by 40%, and would have on of the absolute lowest murder rates in the world, and we would save a whole lot of black lives. I want to save black lives, do you?

He chooses to stay in America because he hates the taxes he would have to pay in England, but he doesn’t want you to know this. All he’s telling is how great the UK system is, but then refuses to live there because he knows he would then be on a “level playing field” as all the others in his ‘class’.
Morgan has been assigned to go after the AK platform due to the military and “Obama’s Civilian Army” (i.e. Black Panthers) are issued the same round for it’s popularity. This Administration does not want the ‘average civilian’ to have access to the same rounds the military favors due to availibility of ammunition. What dummaass doesn’t realize is that for urban warfare, after decades of trial and error in other Countries the final choice is the 9mm. History of the UZI shows that all foot soldiers use the 9mm’s, and UZI only makes a few in 45 cal. for officers (to sport they have “a bigger one”). So let the Panther Army lug around a few cases of .223 bullets and see how far they get before they have to stop for some “Chume”. In the mean time you can carry multiple 9mm weapons PLUS large amounts of ammo that actually do more damage to human organs when involved in close quarter fighting.
Face it Morgan, the .223 is a “plinker” to the US public. You had better start worrying when 9mm carbine rifles start flying off the shelves.

Jan. 21, 2013 at 11:09amThe AR-15 isn’t even a “Military Grade” rifle. It’s definitely not a “high power rifle” being a varmint round. The AR-15 was originally designed for civilian use, it was usurped by the military because they saw the benefits of a lightweight rifle with a smaller round capable of carrying more ammuntion. They then requested it be modified to full auto. The civilian version (original version) is and always has been semi-auto. All the extra stuff on there doesn’t affect the function at all. Adding a collapsible stock just makes it easier to handle, same with the forward grip. They’re scared of a bayonet lug? When’s the last time we heard a of a bayonet charge in a gun fight? Fear of a barrel shroud and a flash suppressor? Seriously? One keeps us from burning our hands the other keeps us from blinding ourselves when firing.
This guy is a moron of the highest degree, as are all antigunners who think banning it will accomplish anything. The guy in Aurora didn’t use an AR-15, his jammed and he switched to a shotgun. The guy in Portland, his jammed and he killed himself when confronted by an armed citizen. CT killer left his in his car, he used pistols. So now, Piers Moron, the last shootings did not involve the eeeeeevil AR-15.
Go back to Britain lest you be reminded of what happened the last time your type tried to disarm us.

How many Gunshops are going to go out of business and close even though this law will not stand up in court?
It is done on Purpose just to bankrupt and make them close know it will take 2-3 years for this law to be thrown out through the courts. Do these small business owners, investors have the right to sue the state for lost income?
Is their even a chance at a stay or ritt to stop this while it is in court? Like every other new law….
No reguardless of how unconstitutional or illgal it is the state deems it is worth closing them down.
