CNN Host Piers Morgan: The Only Civilians Who Need AR 15 Assault Rifles Are Those Who Want to Commit Mass Murder

CNN host Piers Morgan continued his anti-gun rhetoric Sunday, tweeting: “The only civilians who ‘need’ an AR-15 assault rifle are those who want to commit mass murder. That’s what they do. #killingmachines.”

The British citizen has been outspoken in his support for stronger gun control measures in the United States, particularly in the wake of the tragedy at Sandy Hook last month.

A little over a week ago, the White House was forced to respond to a petition signed by more than 100,000 people seeking to deport the television host over his views. “Keep the First [Amendment]” in mind when defending the second, they suggested.

Last time i checked,

Caesar was killed by his own men with swords and knives. Alexander Hamilton was killed in a gun duel. 9/11 was done with box cutters and a 747 jet. My point? If the desired outcome is the stopping of violence, it’ll never happen. No matter what object you ban. Not even a cop on every corner could accomplish stopping all bad things from happening. “Need” is irrelevant. Otherwise all things deemed as a needed become questionable including nice houses, multiple bedrooms, multiple cars, and high pay incomes.

It’s only my opinion, that we should ENABLE the average citizen rather than DISABLING them by limiting thier resources lawfully. Once the average citizen is empowered, we can secure saftey by making criminals think twice. Then we finish the job and go after the black market purchasers such as gangs and mafia leaders. Because after all, they don’t wait a 5 day wait period, do they?????

Everyone needs to take a look at Morgan’s ratings. More people find out about his hatred for America through the recycling by places like the Drudge, here at the Blaze and WND. Do what most of us have done. Turn off the TV, write to Morgans sponsors and let then know that you will not purchase their products as long as they sponsor Morgans show. Then, don’t buy those products until they drop him. We don’t get cable programming any more since my wife and I dropped them a year ago. We get our news off the internet and through places like Beck’s TV. Also a big story today and getting bigger is the Big Pharma connection to Obama. May God Bless Us All!!

Read the 5th paragraph. This story is dated 3/11 and makes me call into question the relationship between Obama calling for gun control and the big pharma!!!

  You might want to check statistics on those vehicles killing innocent kids. I’m positive more “innocent” kids have been killed by vehicles than killed by semi-automatic rifles.

The problem I have isn’t with Piers Morgan, the problem I have is with other gun owners who believe the same thing he does about AR15s. The gun owners that say “as long as they take what I don’t have.”

As much as I understand about ignoring the radical rabid left’s DISINFORMATION CAMPAIGN, I believe it needs to be listened to, and ultimately answered in a truthful, patient manner. I am already tired of what will be the same LOC we will be fed by the obviously left sided media. We need to listen and respond – quite a few good links have been listed other readers. UNTIL we come face to face with Piers Morgan, heck, just talk to him the same way Ted Nugent did (a great interview and entertaining).
We have at least 2 to 4 years of this ignorant rhetoric, as well as potential personal attacks towards those who will not back down, even under criticisms of ‘unpatriotic’ and ‘un-American’ labels from the current administration that functions using the convenient method of Executive Order form of Dictatorship. GOP get your act together, you are easily replaceable if you decide not to do your job. (read Newt’s letter to the GOP is short and to the point).
Huckabee had a great interview Sunday night, with the former owner of gun store and training officer, He outlined specifically what features are to be “banned” on a Bushmaster AR-15. It was informative, but more importantly, for the DERTMINED TO BE IGORANAT crowd, it was a segment on specific features on the gun that are proposed to be banned, since people perceived these items attached to the rifle as “scary”. Are these the kind of guns Eric Holder and the government are issuing to drug cartels? Perhaps anyone might not only need these guns but a small army to defend their family against home invasions by groups of armed terrorists. When is the government is going to address an issue out of both sides of it’s mouth at the same time? If they take away guns of licensed legal upright gut owners, who are they going to issue these guns to?

It would seem that he has never seen or experienced a home invasion robbery where 15 or more people show up in multiple cars and empty the house with the home owners inside.
I’ve seen the aftermath of that.
The homeowners could have used better tools.

Geez an AR15 is not a freaking military assualt rifle you freaking morons. It is a .223 caliber semi automatic rifle with military looking barrel shroud, flash suppresor and stock. It isn’t however a selective fire weapon like a military assault weapon.

Wow, I was trying to figure out what to do with mine. The fact is that his government (Brit.) does not have a very good reputation for its way of treating its unarmed citizens. So I say let the limey concern himself with what’s up the queens skirt. I’m sure he knows a few queens. The elite brits don’t like Americans having guns and never did. They see Americans as crude and uncivlized but the truth is that they are jealous of America and it’s freedoms. So remember “the British are coming, the British are coming” and the last time was for our guns and our gold. This time it will be “the bank backed UN is coming, the bank backed UN is coming”
