Is This YouTube Video Proof That NASA’s Moon Landings Were Definitely NOT Faked?

S.G. Collins Says It Wasnt Technologically Possible to Fake a Moon Landing During Time of Apollo Missions

Since the very beginning there are have been conspiracy theories that the moon landings made on NASA’s Apollo missions were faked. The doubt cast on moon landings is such an evergreen story that it’s reported on in one way or another by someone every year, but a Dutch man is making a compelling case that could show once and for all it was not the work of an elaborate hoax.

S.G. Collins, the writer and director of Postwar Media based in Amsterdam, released a YouTube video in December 2012 that essentially says the technology at the time was not sophisticated enough to adequately fake such an event.

“Did people go to the moon in 1969? I’m not totally sure — I wasn’t on the moon then,” Collins says in the video. “Did they fake going to the moon? No, I’m pretty sure they didn’t. Because they couldn’t.”

In his video “moon hoax not,” Collins said the technology to send man to the moon was in fact available at the time, but not the technology to fake it on video.

“The later you were born, the more ‘all powerful’ movie magic seems,” Collins said.

Collins addresses some of the “flaws” that have been called up by those doubting the moon landing:

  • Should have seen stars? Collins said that we wouldn’t see stars in the moon landing images because the camera was set to expose in broad daylight.

The image on the left is the original. The image on the right shows what the photograph would have looked like if the camera’s exposure was set to capture stars. (Image: YouTube screenshots)

  • Flag waving the breeze? Collins said this isn’t the case, it is wiggling in a vacuum after being let go. TheBlaze has reported before that the flags were also said to be designed to remain out stretched with a waving effect.
  • Shadows stretch unrealistically? No they don’t, Collins said. “Go outside sometime and see how shadows work.”

What’s more, Collins said that it wasn’t yet possible to fake what we saw on TV. “Why are people missing this?” he asked.

Collins goes on to address the different types of cameras that were used, were technologically available at the time and what their capabilities were.

Watch Collins’ debunking (Note: some strong language):

On the blog side of his website, Collins addresses some of the criticism he has received about his video:

some of the editorial pushback on my ‘moon hoax not’ movie is all about how the government in those days already had technologies much more advanced than anything i can imagine. including the powerful electronics needed to record hours of continuous overcranked video.

my feeling is that if indeed they had such electronics, then [a] we can’t argue that their navigation computers weren’t powerful enough to get them to the moon, and [b] that technology would likely have trickled down to the private sector at least a decade or two sooner than it did.

so assertions of technological omnipotence tend to persuade me that the americans could and did go to the moon — not the other way around.

Someone here said, “I choose to believe we went to the moon.” And that’s fine, I don’t really care about the moon thing but those words, “I choose to believe” are some of the scariest words possible right now.

BELIEVE REALITY. LOOK AT THE EVIDENCE AND BELIEVE YOUR EYES, NOT THE LIES.

Again, PLEASE read this article, which outlines the psychology of denial in Americans, who cannot wrap their brains around the ongoing “Theater” being perpetrated on us every single day.

    http://www.examiner.com/article/sandy-hook-hoax-is-falling-apart

Glenn calls it “the normalcy bias,” and it’s especially hard for Americans, because of the rosy picture painted for us over the past 50 years.

    I understand, I really do.

I’ve had twelve years to come to realization and understand all this, and it has been Hell.

I worked my ASS off trying to understand what was happening to my life, and am now fighting to get the word out to people I’ll never meet, who probably think I’m nuts. Some already know all about it, which is why they are so quiet.

The horrific realization that everything we see is calculated came to me in incredibly painful stages and chunks, through personal experience, and there are still days I cannot believe my eyes.

    BELIEVE IT.

Sandy Hook Theater will happen again, and when it does, don’t you dare look away from the exact same types of evidence. These idiots are not that smart, and they’ve gotten extremely sloppy.

    Yo

Having lived and watched the first Moon Landing “live” on the television, what disturbs me most is the high percentage of lunatics (no pun intended) who selected that the Moon Landings were a hoax in the poll at the top of this column! In today’s world of technological marvels, movie magic, and high definition Video it STILL amazes me that we not only successfully landed on the Moon, but that we were able to bring them safely BACK to Earth with the early 1960s technology available at the time. Landing on the Moon back then was getting commonplace by both American and Russian endeavors. Getting something BACK, however, was a total unknown when Armstrong set foot on the Moon. Despite all of NASA’s Engineering efforts, there was NO Guarantee that they could get back to the Command Module, much less back to a safe landing on Earth. The least tested and most critical part of the mission was the Lunar Lander which had never been tested on the Moon. The fact that the Astronauts had Cyanide Capsules was only revealed much, much later, but that is how unsure NASA was about being able to bring the Astronauts home. There was almost nothing the Lunar Astronauts could do to repair the Ascent Stage Motor if something went wrong. As it turned out, the durability of the LEM was proven by the Apollo 13 Mission where the survival of all three Astronauts was based solely on the Lunar Lander Systems.

And let me get this straight. A Government agency, fighting for it’s very existance for budget, is going to fake the moon landing several times including death of Apollo one astronaunts, fail Apollo 13, dozens of actual flights where people witnessed the launches, then hide UFO existance, bribe 400,000 people who worked on the program, and actually leave evidence on the Moon that is still there. That makes sense?

Not only do they NOT want you to know that, they are COUNTING on it causing us all harm, just like Fluoride in the water, and carcinogens in our vaccines. Bill Gates said it best, look it up.

Some utility trucks with cherry pickers swarmed our house for a solid week, installing all kinds of weird stuff, at every OTHER house all around us.

THE DAY AFTER they finished, my husband, who is neither sick nor elderly, broke out in a HORRIFIC case of shingles, which he had NEVER had before.

That, and as of THAT SAME DAY, I now have a permanent screeching in my ears, night and day, and that was four years ago. It gets louder or softer depending on how much I’m being punished for running my mouth.

IT’S NOT TINNITUS, which is the other thing they keep trying to cram down everyones’ throats, so no doctors. They are the biggest government puppets.

When someone is so desperately trying to convince you of something, you can bet it’s because they are lying.

So with this moon thing, I can only assume, from the desperate attempts to convince us otherwise, that there is something to this.

Here, I’d say there is both smoke AND fire.

A dead giveaway that something is being “debunked” is that they bring it up first, out of context to anything else happening at the moment. Unsolicited propaganda.

Like this guy saying that moon thing never happened out of context to anything else happening right now.

Take these Big Pharma TV propaganda PSAs about the explosion of shingles. Shingles has ALWAYS been a condition reserved to the very ill (like DYING ill), the very immune-compromised, and the very elderly.

One of the Pharms puts up this ad trying to convince you “You already have the virus in you.” They will ALWAYS try to convince you of their never-ending meme, “maybe it’s you.”

That part is true, but the breakouts are being caused because our immune systems are seriously being compromised by the microwaves emitted from practically every street corner in WiFi, smart meters and probably a couple others of which I’m unaware.

Ask why the hell they would bring it up out of thin air in the first place, if they weren’t worried???

What is really interesting, to me, is at the time of writing this 43% of those who took part in the poll say they think our moon landings are a hoax.

I say if they are a hoax then they are the most elaborate hoax, involving tens of thousands of people (who have all decided to keep quiet and not make a dime spilling this to the public), in modern US history. But that is just my opinion on it. (:

You freaking morons, anyone who still believes in Moon Landing Conspiracies needs to jump off a bridge. It’s not only proven by geology brought back and studied by many independent 3rd party scientist, There have been recent satellite photos companies like SPACE-X or from countries like India this past year who have photographed our exact landing sites, where you can see things like the Apollo 11 flag, the Moon Rover and comparable topography of the moon surface to Apollo photos. It’s undisputed now. Could there have been possible reconstruction and retake videos or photos of Apollo landings used for PR purposes, probably almost certain, just like there were retakes and staged videos done of the Storming of Normandy and many other battles of WW2 that were re shot for press and media purposes, the same way modern reality television has retakes. The Cold War, starting from the end of WW2 and throughout the 60s saw tons of Department of Defense and other government produced films.

Hi, All! I’m really interested in knowing what exactly has the Obama administration done that most here believe that he has sold America out, ruined the country, is communist, etc. Although, I sincerely am not a fan of his nor former President Bush’s, and I have my own problems with some of the policies that I hear and read about, I have yet to hear of anything condemning the man to death (assassination), impeachment, or imprisonment like so many of YOU threaten the man with seemingly daily here. Sometimes I have to really wonder myself, are YOU all really Americans or rather foreign online insurgents hoping to trip-up any potential American unity. Again, I am not a supporter, just another concerned citizen, and am looking for an honest, detailed answer, not attacks on my person or a flaming war between various constituents and factions. Thank YOU, kindly!

We went to the moon and the reason is that I know for certainty one of the missions. Not the first one. The Russia’s had a orbiter around the moon and the orbiter dipped down over them while they were there. Russia and the US was in a political war between the two countries. Russia blocked out some information to their people they never disputed United States having gone to the moon. Benjamin Franklin said “You can keep a secret between three people if two of them are dead”. Keeping that secret with thousands world wide observing it impossible. There were too many ham radio operators who could and did monitor transmissions from the moon too cover it up. Some pictures may have been retouched or even staged. But staged on the moon.

makes me a little suspicious. Alot of things need explaining, the doctored
pictures, the dust that Neil Armstrong stepped into and left a clear

Several years ago, The History Channel did a report on the conspiracy. 59 minutes went by, with interviews with the scientists and the wingnuts. Only in the last minute did they give the proof that no one could argue with. Had they shown you this at the beginning, no one would watch: The Russians and germans filmed the landing with their best telescopes. The russians were furious that the Yanks beat them to the moon, and were hoping to catch them fail. The Germans filmed it, because they could. Had the Americans not gone, those two countries would still be telling everyone, and still laughing. Go to the museums in Russia and Germany. They still show them occasionally.

End of conspiracy. Hasn’t stopped that wingnut, Alex Jones, though.
