Dan Pfeiffer, President Barack Obama’s communications director, recently told The Washington Post that neither America’s political system nor Republicans are “worthy” of the opportunity the president’s second term represents.

“There’s a moment of opportunity now that’s important,” Pfeiffer said. “What’s frustrating is that we don’t have a political system or an opposition party worthy of the opportunity.”

Yes, unfortunately for Democrats, President Obama will have to work with Republicans, who control the majority in the House of Representatives, to get things done. Well, he can also use executive orders as he demonstrated in his first term. “If he is successful, his record could include a variety of legislative achievements that have eluded previous presidents and a place in history as the president who moved the country beyond the wars of the post-Sept. 11 era,” The Washington Post adds.

“Days in your second term are in many ways more important than in your first,” Pfeiffer said, noting that the president’s second-term power is is “an hourglass running out of sand,” so he must move quickly.

  There is no damage that cannot be undone! Our forefathers gave us the right to take our country back if need arises from a tyranical and uncooperative government.
  The problem is that our people have become lazey sloven gluttonous parasites from all the government handouts. That means that the true Americans would be fighting both the government and the 50% takers.
  Tough roads ahead. The real question now to be asked, are people still willing to die for a country that has been over run by secular progressive trash?

I’ve tried my utmost. I WORKED today-apparently a rare event these days. I started off watching the Weather Channel- unfortunately most channels I watch are on this charade being played out. On THIS day. On MLK Day- I am reminded of the Reverend King’s words regarding his dream. His dream that a person would NOT be judged by the color of their skin but by the CONTENT of their CHARACTER. I remember ’08 Inauguration- what many do not know is how Arethra Franklin did NOT PAY the business owner who made her hat. Truth is, months later SHE sued HIM because she thought that HE owed HER money for wearing the hat…look it up-it’s there.

Why do they keep letting BHO get credit for ending the war in Iraq. He followed the ending of the conflict by the Status of Forces set forth by Bush and royaly screwd that up. We are not “worthy” of King BHO. Nope he is not worthy of us.   I explained to a friend just the other day —- this is human nature playing out —- its that no one wants to go first. Its like the old cereal commercial ‘Hey get mikey, he’ll eat anything”. Then after mikey tries it they all eat.
  
  People are scared that way. No one wants to be first for fear of embarrassment or failure.
  Once one person starts fighting back [or small group of people] then others will jump in.

  Well, let’s look at it. American’s approval of the President of the United States is high, and approval of Boehner and the House is at a record low.
  
  Everybody, including credit agencies, including Wall Street, know the US government is broken, thanks to the fringe members of the House, those who won’t even vote “yes” to the party’s own bills.
  
  The American people aren’t stupid. They know the system is broken and they know who is at fault. Republicans don’t care for what the average American thinks, but even Wall Street knows who is at fault, that’s why the Republicans are caving on the debt limit.
