While repeating the oath of office during Monday’s public swearing-in ceremony, President Barack Obama had trouble spitting out some of the words.
During the part where he was supposed to say “will faithfully execute the office of president of the United States,” Obama cut off the last portion, choked on his words a little, and then shook his head:
This story has been updated to correct an earlier version that said Chief Justice John Roberts did not say “the” while saying “president of the United States” during his administration of the oath. It remains unclear, then, what exactly threw the president off while he was reciting the words.

I simply cannot wait until we all live in harmony under a one united rainbow flag, and sing beloved songs to our leader as Skittles fall from the sky and Bluebirds land on our shoulders. You don’t truly believe that beautiful – wonderful man will allow darkened skys with the smoke of bombs, and for us – his children – to be slaughtered because we believe other than Islam? Why, I just know so deep in my truly changed tolerant heart that our beloved gorgous president is simply wanting to take your guns back to his workshop, so he can have them painted pretty bright colors of the rainbow, and then will bring them right back to you. I love President Obama ever so much, that just smiling makes my face ache. I truly hope and pray that all barriers of term limits can be broken down, so that President Obama – such a wise beyond words and beautiful man, will be able to lead us for ever and ever.

On a day when we celebrate the life of Dr Martin Luther King Jr., please change the conversation to “content of character” and leave skin color out of it. This is truely getting old. How could we have elected and re-elected a black man if we were all racists.

Jan. 21, 2013 at 1:03pmActually, the Chief Justice and Mr. Obama flubbed the oath, getting his name wrong. Mr. Obama is Barack Hussein Obama JR., both omitted the Junior.
With Mr. Biden, the Associate Justice did not include the JUNIOR, Mr. Biden emphasized it in his oath (or affirmation).

Jan. 21, 2013 at 12:56pmI’m so depressed. You know that stuff about MLK having women on the side? (Don’t know if it’s true or not.) Even if it is true, it seems unlikely that he would endorse abortion on demand for the entire 9 months of pregnancy and not treating babies who survive abortion, especially given the abortion genocide in the african-american community. So it would be interesting to know what MLK would say to the most pro-abortion president EVER.
