Over the Top? Obama Gets Some Serious Love From the Media on Inauguration Day

It’s no secret that President Barack Obama has some loyal friends in the mainstream media. However, it seemed the heavy praise for the commander in chief was inescapable during Monday’s inaugural festivities.

Let’s just start at the beginning.

During a discussion about the president’s inauguration, New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd wondered aloud why Obama, as brilliant as he is, hasn’t been able to get Washington to “work better” with his “super-brain” and “amazing insights.” She really did say that.

Dowd concluded that it must be because he relies more on his heart and what’s right rather than his superior intellect.

MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell fawned over Obama’s inaugural speech, saying it was “in the mood of Martin Luther King Jr. and the day that we’re celebrating and of that legacy.”

“I thought that the tone of this speech, aside from the policy prescriptions, was much more eloquent than I expected, frankly,” she added.

CNN reporter Jim Acosta was practically giddy due to the fact that he was near President Obama as he was walking down Pennsylvania during the inaugural parade.

“You know, I feel like I should pinch myself right now, Wolf (Blitzer). I can’t believe I have this vantage point of history in the making.”

CNN host Wolf Blitzer himself later got caught up in the excitement and attempted to get noticed by Obama by standing up and waving at him like a fan. He later said he and his co-anchor were just “spectators” and “tourists” at the event.

NBC’s Brian Williams went on about First Lady Michelle Obama and claimed that she was “easily” the most fascinating first lady since Jackie Kennedy.

“We can say without hesitation there has not been this much fascination with a first lady easily since Jackie Kennedy,” he said.

Additionally, CNN’s Piers Morgan tweeted: “Obama sounding more and more like Martin Luther King as this speech goes on – powerful, rousing rhetoric.” He later called Obama “articulate, engaging, intelligent and a great figurehead for America.”

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews went as far as to compare Obama’s second inaugural address to Abraham Lincoln’s historic Gettysburg Address.

“It reminds me of another second inaugural, Lincoln’s. So much of Lincoln in that speech, from the Gettysburg Address to the second inaugural itself,” Matthews said.

And of course, as TheBlaze previously reported today, NBC’s Al Roker went nuts trying to get the attention of the president and Vice President Joe Biden during the parade. He screamed their names and flailed his arms around, until both acknowledged him.

I was referring to how the media is gay for BHO. Matthews with his gay tingle up his leg (I wonder where that tingle ended up) is just one example of what f**gs the media are for this POS president.   Actually chump…Comrade Barry received a smaller vote total in 2012 than he did in 2008. The problem was the “fat cat” RINO progressives running the Republican party (who are virtually identical ideologically to the same crew running the DNC) rigged the primary for a RINO named Romney.
  
  Then (suprise, suprise) a large segment of the conservative base of the Republicah party sat this one out.. Obama’s “majority” was basically engineered by the RINO rigging of the primary…to select yet another unelectable RINO candidate.
  
  Sometimes the obvious comes up and hits you in the face. Have the common sense to at least learn from that impact accordingly..,

Cable does have some advantages. No commercials or presidential enemas on HBO…etc….and by the time I switched the DVR to my recording of The Following it was past worrying about.

Other than that, reflecting on four years of projectile vomiting over Dear Leader is a grim prospect. Hell, even my friends know better than to JOKINGLY mention his name around me. I’ve never truly hated a president before…..I’ve thought a few were total tool boxes….but never really held disdain.

How do Americans get the truth?. I always thought that the press was the loyal opposition in America. Couple this with our educational system which backs up the propaganda, union thugs that try to stiff arm any opposition and the growing number of government reliant people, what a hot mess. I like how Obama wants to finish what he started – what’s that? – f-ing up the country even more then he’s already done?.

His whole speech, was nothing but a bag of lies. While he said he was embracing capitalism he sold our energy right here in the US to China. So, we will not be digging and drilling, the Chinese will be and sticking it to us. How do you say, “Drill Baby Drill,” in Chinese?

Now the immediate concern is shall the GOP be a courageous and loyal opposition or just further acquiesce and watch our next generation suffer? This country has completely gone off of it’s rocker and I credit that to the media. It seems all of the left laid down in the poppy fields around 2007 and is hasn’t warn off yet. I thank God everyday I see through all this craziness. Do they actually think Obama wrote his speech…nope some college liberal paid to use a few words from Lincoln and King’s speeches having no idea what either meant when they spoke them. Obama never had a dream. He had a nightmare and he is making all of us share it with him. It is time to wake up! My dream is of his impeachment, but with this drooling media I may never get mine.
