Congressman and former vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan (R-WI) was reportedly booed at President Obama’s inauguration ceremony Monday.

The Huffington Post wrote:

If things had gone differently in November, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) might have departed the Capitol on Monday as the vice president of the United States. Instead, he faced a chorus of boos as he left the building to attend President Barack Obama’s second inauguration ceremony.

Ryan announced last week that he would be present for Obama’s public swearing in at the Capitol, calling it his “obligation.”

Here’s some of the reaction on Twitter:

Ben Howe of Red State posted a screen shot from a man who he describes as a “DOJ lawyer” who claims to have started the booing.

A LinkedIn account of a Dan Freeman displays the same profile picture, describing him as a Yale-educated trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice who specializes in voting rights and civil liberties.

Meanwhile, Paul Ryan took to Twitter and Facebook to congratulate the president on his victory.

He wrote on Facebook:

I congratulate President Obama on his inauguration, and I join the country in celebrating this American tradition.

The president and I were political opponents. We had strong disagreements over the direction of the country—as we still do now. But today, we put those disagreements aside. Today, we remember what we share in common.

We serve the same country, one that is still in need of repair—and is still the freest on earth. We serve alongside men and women from both parties, who govern in good faith and good will. Finally, we serve the same people, who have honored us with their charge.

We may disagree on matters of policy. But today we remember why we take those matters so seriously—because we seek the public good. It’s our highest duty—one that we share—and one for which we’re grateful.

I’m happy to mark this historic occasion—for the president and for the country. And I look forward to tackling the big challenges ahead.

RYAN IS A POTENTIAL THREAT TO THE OBAMA COMMUNIST REGIME

Just like Palin, Ryan could gain support from Americans and this the Obama Communist Party (OCP) cannot take a chance on.

If you are not under the Democratic tent, this is how you are treated. Then the left gets in front of the media and tells everyone how tolerant, graceful, and reverent they are…and the media laps it all up.

In the eyes of a leftist, a conservative is more dangerous than an extreme Islamist.

I’m 51 and pay attention to what people say and do in public. In my years, 98% of hate and bias has come from liberals. To conservative people I know work, pay their bills and follow their faith. Basically keep to themselves. We speak our beliefs like honor, respect for values and we’re labeled haters. Really? Dems, libs, look in the mirror. Do it with clarity. I’ll hold the bucket.

This is the real root of a lot of our problems today; lack of respect for others.

Apparently, they don’t teach respect, manners or class at Yale.

Anyone who thinks Paul Ryan is smart, isn’t.
And clearly hasn’t done their homework.
Both Ryan and Santorum have wives who are more intelligent and
better educated who had stellar careers. They are the one who should be
out contributing to society instead of changing diapers.
Instead their silly zealot husbands fill their ‘roles’ as christians.

Do Liberals have not the sense to realize that those who dare to think different from their views are what made this country great? Their negative, hateful, childish, uncontrolled outbursts, are not becoming, nor does it make anyone desire to become one. The fact is Paul Ryan is dedicated, he had a plan to attack this national debt and out of control spending, and genuinely wanted to help the American people’s future, which is a lot more than any politician has come up with yet. This generation has a rude awakening after Obama’s 2nd term is over and they start reaping the devastation that this president has sewn long after he is out of office; it will be too late for Liberals to realize just what the those who think differently who fought for the freedoms that are being cashed in for big govt. take over that has been proven from history that is does not work. It’s sickening to know our youth is being taken for a ride in the name of good will for all by our govt. Even the name Liberal has an eerie ring to it, when it entails less freedom and more govt control. How far will the strong arm of govt. finally reach? Oh in the name of Liberal good will for all, most will not even feel the sting of the injection until it is too late. They just really don’t get what it means to be a free thinker.

Glancing over this and going on to the next one without taking it in is what THEY count on. TAKE INVENTORY AND MOVE AWAY FROM SOCIA MEDIA, AND TAKE YOUR SPOUSE, KIDS AND LOVED ONES. I feel sorry for the progressivs/democrats. They are blind fools. They are crude and undignified. They are clueless when it comes to respect. Perhaps someday they will see when it all falls apart. They will be crying for help from honorable people like Ryan. I am ashamed of the democrats, truly ashamed.

Well. Paul Ryan is conservative and that’s bad enough. On top of that, he is Christian and that’s really bad enough. On top of that, he is male and that’s really really bad enough. And on top of all that, he is white and that doesn’t help at all. I mean being white is really really really bad enough. In summary, what we have here is a BIG-BAD-WHITE-MAN–the scourge of the earth. Just how bad can the BIG-BAD-WHITE-MAN get? Well, the BIG-BAD-WHITE-MAN is just automatically really really really really really bad right at the moment of conception. Oh yes, the BIG-BAD-WHITE-MAN is the scourge of the earth. Enter Paul Ryan here. A scourge of the earth unto himself–and enemy of the liberals.
