What Tweet Did President Obama Personally Send From Church This Morning?
TheBlaze’s Jon Seidl contributed to this report.
President Barack Obama, though he has already officially been sworn in to his second term, will take part in public inaugural festivities today at the Capitol. This morning, before the procession unfolds, Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and the First Family attended St. John’s Church. But just before they left the house of worship, it seems the president sent a personal message from his Twitter account pertaining to the commencement of his second term.
While it’s unclear whether he sent the social media note from the pews or as he was preparing to exit the church, Obama made his excitement about second-term prospects known, writing, “I’m honored and grateful that we have a chance to finish what we started. Our work begins today. Let’s go.” He signed the tweet “-bo,” the initials he uses to let the public know when he is actually the individual sending messages from the account.

Obama’s message was sent at 9:25 a.m., but the official pool report says that the church service didn’t end until 9:32 a.m. The First Family exited the house of worship around 9:37 a.m. and within two minutes the motorcade was headed back to the White House.
So many are probably wondering: Was the president tweeting about his future political aspirations during the service?
Maybe. But it’s probably more likely church was over or winding down and he found a small window though which to directly connect with the American people.
In fact, it may have been that Obama was inspired by the sermon and he wanted to share his jubilation with his followers.
“What do you do, when you’re the most important person in the room? You are the decision maker,” Pastor Andy Stanley of North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, GA, said during the message.
He then told a story of Jesus becoming a “servant” and washing his disciples’ feet. He focused on what people in power do with their authority.
“You leverage that power for the benefit of other people in the room,” he said, and then added, “Mr. President, you have an awfully big room.” He ended by praying that the president would “continue to leverage this influence for the sake of our nation and the sake of the world.”
So is it a coincidence that Obama’s tweet mentioned being “honored”?

What’s the difference between Obama and God?
God doesn’t think he’s Obama.

Posted on January 22, 2013 at 2:53amSo scary, “…finish what we started.”
That would be stripping Americans of all liberties then making America economically and militarily equal with the world.
God help us.

Posted on January 21, 2013 at 3:44pmHe has a plan. If you noticed the polls are already turning. More Americans now believe that he has become more confrontational…odd how they didn’t notice before. But that is neither here no there. It is up to us to keep the truth in the public eye and continue to harass our representatives as much as possible. I am appalled with this man’s hypocrisy when he mentions the bill of rights and that all of have a right to LIFE…unless of course you happen to be one of the 55 million babies aborted for convenience since Roe v Wade. Just in case you are interested that is ONE BABY EVERY 30 SECONDS! My goodness. There is no morality in that, there is no morality in uncontrolled spending, refusing to do the right thing for everyone, rather doing things for those whom it was politically expiedient to do them for. (That goes for the GOP) I can’t wait to see what happens over the next four years. Unemployment has not budged, but hey that’s OK. Employers will have to decide whether they will pay for healthcare if they employee over 50 people full time this year or drop them to part time employees without benes. Next year if a business has over 30 people they will have to cover the healthcare. Huh, I wonder what this just might lead to? NOT TO MENTION SCOTUS appointments…God help us.

Posted on January 21, 2013 at 9:38pm55 million murdered children… that is a sad thing. My mom’s been depressed since yesterday because of the inaguration. I can kinda see why; his return to the office of President is the final nail in the coffin for my community, family, and country.

Posted on January 21, 2013 at 12:29pmDid you say “church?” I think you need to print a retraction cause you made a mistake. The title of this article should read, “mosque”. He tweeted from inside his “mosque” this morning while bowing towards Mecca and all that could be heard was “allahu akbar” in the background and the sound of automatic weaponry being fired in what could only be interpreted as some AR-15 style/type firearms but we aren’t sure because……this just in……….A US MARINE, who does not want to be identified for fear of reprisal, reported the confiscation of a whole truckload of AR-15 weapons this morning in Kandahar Province by a familiar looking female State Department Official. The weaponry was put inside a white bakery truck and labeled “BREAD” (Better Redistribute Enemies And Die). More on this breaking news story later………….
