‘Purveyors of White Privilege’: Bill O’Reilly Reveals the Outlook He Thinks Drives Obama

Fox News host Bill O’Reilly gained some criticism for a controversial segment on “The O’Reilly Factor” last night, during which he posed a theory about President Barack Obama and his treatment of the GOP. The popular commentator charged that the nation’s leader doesn’t like Republicans, because he sees them as “purveyors of white privilege.” The comment was made during an interview with The Washington Post’s Bob Woodward. Earlier in the show, the host also took aim at Obama’s push for “social justice” in his inaugural address.

“It’s pretty clear that [Obama] doesn’t like them because he doesn’t feel — he feels that they are the purveyors of white privilege,” O’Reilly said. “He’s never going to say that, but that’s the theme that runs through his advisers: The white privilege has to be broken down.”

Woodward didn’t agree with this assessment, as the famed journalist contended that Obama’s treatment of Republicans has little to do with race and everything to do with ideological contention. He dismissed the president’s treatment of the GOP as being rooted in “a broader disagreement with the Republican agenda.” Despite Woodward’s disagreement with the sentiment, O’Reilly doubled down.

“The Republican agenda, in his mind, the president’s mind, props up white privilege,” O’Reilly continued, defending his original position.”Therefore, as the social justice champion, he has to tear that down. He doesn’t like the white privilege thing and he doesn’t like the Republicans trying to defend it. And that’s the seed.”

  Unfortunately, O’reilly usually gives the left the stage to spew whatever they can even when there is no logic, yet this time he is more likely right on this point. With obamas desire to “use” Lincoln to justify his divisive actions, THE BIG MICK uses a very profound insightful connection highlighting the Gettysberg Address to substantiate his point. TRIGUS also makes a significant point that has always been overlooked in the liberal mentality that we “must all get along” and “be tolerant” by accepting this hyphenated version of an American.
  
  The use of “hyphenation” in our society is used allowing certain individuals to look down their nose at others (i.e. family names such as rodham/clinton). At some point, this arrogant use of multiple hyphenated heritage backgrounds as with the hyphenated family names will get old. We need to stop this personal arrogance and be American’s in mentality, not just “residence” (‘ya listening pierce?).

could someone please explain to me White privilege?
When we looked at the last two elections for Barry Obama, what ethnic group voted almost exclusively for Barry Obama? I know that White Voters split vote, nearly 50/50 in population voter turnout. That tells me that White Voters don’t ethnically vote according to complexion but vote according to substance issues called political affiliation.
Now, what ethnic group voted in excess of 95% for a person of the same complexion as themselves? Gee, not the Hispanic, or the Asians. What about East Indian or Middle Eastern?
Nope, only African Americans vote exclusively for person’s of similar complexion.
But if you are voting exclusively for your person of skin complexion and not according to politics in an election campaign, you are a bunch of racists. And that’s my take on the African American voter base. A bunch of entitlement driven racists.

  I don’t know how we fix that … how we put a stop to this nonsense. As a white man, I am blamed by many of them for enslaving them, but my father came from Europe a very poor teenager, thus my family had absolutely nothing to do with enslaving anyone.   Your assertions seem to be, in my personal and professional experience, absolutely correct. When one “ethnic group” votes overwhelmingly for a candidate because his/her race is the same as theirs, THAT is the definition of racism, as defined by the NAACP, Southern Christian Leadership Conference and the ACLU.
  However, not a single one of those groups leadership or any of its’ members have the moral courage to call it, for what it actually is. They through their own shrill siren song of racism hypocrisy, have illuminated the world to what THEY truly are.   It kills me that you don’t truly don’t understand how this works. No, you don’t get like a check in the mail or something for being white. Here’s a little experiment a black friend and I (I’m white) ran here in Columbia, MO, a fairly liberal area:
  He went into a realtors office to check on available apartments. The only ones he was told were open in a price range we agreed on beforehand were in what we consider the ghetto. Then I went in right after he left. Suddenly there were lots more apartments available, all over town!
  
  Until I was convinced to conduct this experiment, I was convinced like you that white privilege was mostly a thing of the past. But it’s not, it’s just gotten very subtle.

Do you remember four years ago O’Reilly was the last commentator to subscribe to the fact that the main stream media leaned to the left? It was embarrassing watching him back then. He knows about Obama but covers his backside for the sake of the show. How many times have you heard him say if Obama does this or that it’s all over for Obama.   Let’s look at how Obama uses our tax dollars shall we?
  
  They just announced that the Government will be selling it’s stake in GM….at a loss. This of course amidst all the sound and fury of “GM paid back it’s bailout” by the Obama administration. Of course it did..with TARP money. Was Mr Obama unaware of this or was his preservation of UAW benefits packages more important to him than the tax payer money he preserved them with?
  
  What about green company Solyndra? Obama and his energy secretary Stephen Chu fasttracked the loan guarantees to Solyndra against every credible auditor and analysts advice. To add insult to injury, Chu had the loans subordinated so that Obama’s donor could preserve his $75 million stake in Solyndra while the tax payer was left holding the bag once again.
  
  What about “stimulus” and it’s “infrastructure” spending? Boy that really paid off didn’t it?
  
  But why don’t you tell me the background of the mortgage crisis WILLINGDUPE…let’s have a discussion shall we?

  By the way champ….look up who was selling the slaves to the slavers in Africa. It was other black tribes who were already enslaving those rival tribes. White slave traders rarely ventured into the heart of Africa to capture slaves, it was too dangerous. They stayed close to the coast. They relied on the local tribes to catch and sell the slaves to them. Let me dumb it down for you champ…they relied on black people to catch and sell other black people to them.

I caught the show last night and Bill just couldn’t get Bob Woodward to give in to his notion about Obama’s view of white privilege. I think Bill was spot-on with his point of view on that, and I don’t think he needed Woodward’s stamp of approval to validate the probability of his notion being accurate, although he sure wanted it!

  Right Mr. Real, I don’t think any leftist can change his stripes. If their all-knowing leader says the moon is green, it’s fact to them. One cannot reason with such people only defeat their ideas and win elections by having principles and sticking to them. Unfortunately no such major candidate is out there right now, and certainly the weeper of the house and maj. leader of the Senate don’t even try to lead.

  Interesting you should say that. The current president is the most racist one I have seen in my time. But it is directed toward the entire county. But the racism extends beyond mere black and white. It is a national racism. The U.S. is too rich and too strong in his mind. His redistribution is more than the imagined Robin Hood “steal from the rich and give to the poor”. It is steal from America and give to the world. He won’t be satisfied until we become a third world nation or are weak enough to be invaded by another nation seeking conquest of our resources.

‘White-privilege’ is a racist statement meant to stir up hatred of white people. There hasn’t been such a thing for 60 years or more. Now…there is ‘black-privilege’ and that has been the case for at least 50 years. Whites are discriminated against legally by their own government and it has to stop. We are the last to be picked to go to colleges, to get jobs, and to get promotions. We do not get due justice in the courts. We are being attacked physically because we are white. Yet ….the blacks still cry and point and say they are the poor victims. They are liars. White people…stand up!

  White privilege is not just a term, but also a lifestyle even if exercise negatively. What other race has the soft power ability to set up a bogus seminar, telling people how to invest their retirement, equities from their home and other hard earn money into something that doesn’t exist, with fake returns, only to find in the end that it was all a ponzi scheme. People are likened to idea of a Ken doll prep look of a con artist faking a financial leadership role.

  Exactly–The whole “white-privilege” thing is a huge scam. We do live in the “Age of Affirmative-Action”……………and Affirmative-Action obviously is based on RACIAL PREFERENCE. Which means, the minorities of the United States receive special big-time preferences when it comes to education and employment. Even illegal mexicans (and they are illegal to begin with) have been blessed as minorities and they even get to receive special big-time preferences as well under Affirmative-Action (see link shown below). The big-bad-white-man receives no preferences whatsoever under Affirmative-Action. Note that Affirmative-Acton is alive and well and going strong, too (see second link below). Consequently, the whole white-privilege and racism thing is one huge colossal scam. In fact, I believe the scam to be the biggest scam ever perpetrated in the United States in the history of the United States. Accordingly, I call it the GREAT RACISM SCAM. I saw this last night and I was quite surprised with O’Reilly’s candor.
He’s absolutely correct of course.

The irony is that Obama was raised by his white grandparents when both his white socialist/militant mother (her teachers called her “anarchist annie) and black father abandoned him. His grandparents sent Obama to the best schools in Hawaii and he somehow managed to finesse his way into Harvard. No one from his black father’s side ever bothered with him. Yet…white privilge is an issue for him.

I’d also be curious as to what role his abandonment issues play in his mindset. We get a hint from the book Bill Ayers wrote for him “Dreams from my father” where Obama tries very hard to be black, radicial, leftist and identify with his father..while his white grandparents sent him to the best schools and raised him.

Even the tone of the entire inaugural address signifies the anger and resentment of Obama and the Chicago radical Bill Ayers crowd which spawned him. He sounded like he was yelling at America. Remember Michele’s early slip : ” for the first time I am proud of my country ?” All part of the same underlying resentment. Sad that it is still there after 60 years of Affirmative Action and a second election of a bi-racial (?! ) president. This anti-American/ Western hate runs deep and, apparently, long .

In 2014, all those who voted for Obamacare and let Obama get away with his executive orders, must be voted out of office.
