Former GE CEO: Based on Inauguration Speeches, Obama Appears ‘Comfortable With High Unemployment and Huge Deficits’

Former General Electric CEO Jack Welch came out swinging against President Barack Obama yet again the night of the inauguration. Back in October, Welch was ridiculed for saying the administration may have manipulated jobs numbers ahead of the 2012 election, and yesterday his concern was once again unemployment.
“Inaugurals always magnificent…appears Pres. Obama comfortable with high unemployment and huge deficits..no serious mention,” he wrote on Twitter.

The Huffington Post has consequently labeled Welch an “economic conspiracy theorist” along with Rush Limbaugh, Karl Rove, Donald Trump, Ron Paul and CNN’s Erin Burnett (apparently she said that Federal Reserve policies have caused the price of food and gas to rise).
The Huffington Post also notes that the unemployment rate, currently at 7.8%, is roughly the same as it was when President Obama assumed office. They do not, however, point out that the massive contraction in the U.S. labor force keeps the numbers lower than they would otherwise be.

The reaction on Twitter to Welch’s statement has been mixed. While 305 people have retweeted the note and 57 people have “favorited” it as of this article’s publication, there have also been some frightening responses.
One man, who apparently likes to write in all capital letters, told Welch to “drop dead” and that even with all his money, he is still a “racist son of a bi***.”

In fact, President Obama did touch on the jobs situation during the inauguration, but it was limited to broad, sweeping statements.
“We know that America thrives when every person can find independence and pride in their work,” he stated. “When the wages of honest labor liberate families from the brink of hardship.”
He also said: “We, the people, understand that our country cannot succeed when a shrinking few do very well and a growing many barely make it.”

Posted on January 23, 2013 at 1:13amI read an article back around 2004-2005 by a guy suggesting the muslim terrorists didn’t need bombs and suicide bombers to destroy America. All they needed to do was destroy our economy. That was a scary thought back then but I didn’t think it could happen.
Not only did it happen, we elected one them to be our president.
This last 4 years has been like a bad SNL skit.

I refuse to watch the POS’s speach! any of them. YOU SIR! have no right to call yourself “We the people”!
Now by recognizing that it is his policies that is causing the shrinking few (business owners CEO’s who hire the masses), and a growing many barely making it (more and more not being able to find jobs, and accepting Socialist hand outs as a respectable ‘means’); this sentence of his is tantemount as his confirmation of wanting our ecomomy to fail.

Posted on January 22, 2013 at 7:16pmObama just doesn’t “appear ” to be comfortable with high unemployment and huge debt, he has made it abundantly clear he is very comfortable with those two negatives. He has made it clear that he intends to expand both debt an unemployment. It is amazing that people are unable too see he is on his way too destroying our countries economy, and rebuild a Marxist utopia on the ashes.

Posted on January 22, 2013 at 6:58pmThe leftist goon posting in ALL CAPS…is hilarious. Somebody showed him how to use his computer and now he’s able to hunt/peck his way to trolling on Twitter…that is rich. Odumbo needs to be called out by more people in the business community as his policies have been a huge deterrent to the economy finally turning around. This economy is your typical socialist economy..virtually zero growth, and a lot of people on the gubmint gravy train.

Posted on January 22, 2013 at 5:04pmAs of the inauguration day, the army of the proletariat was about 47 million strong – the folks on food stamps and unemployment. Why would Obama care about providing jobs and weaken his forces? He will unleash this force this year.

Posted on January 22, 2013 at 4:29pmOne of the Leaders in one of my Congregations a few years back was Retired VP of GE and a Welch Disciple. Marvelous, Intelligent, Insightful, Effective Leader. One of the First things he shared with me was the Welch 4 “E’s” Energy (be energetic and enthusiastic in your Leadership–check out the light in Welch’s eyes even at his age) ENERGIZE—communicate and share that Vision and Enthusiasm with those you are working with. I’ve always stumbled over remember the last two WORDS but the Principles were to Think Outside the Box–some E word having to do with Vision and FOLLOW THROUGH, some E word having to do with make sure you Accomplish your Goals.
The Reason we are Losing Our Sacred Liberties and becoming Slaves to the Collectivist Statist Redistributionists is that the Jack Welch’s of this World should be our Statesmen and the ObaMao’s of this World should be Banished from America.
