Happy Anniversary, Abortion! You’re Still ‘Looking Good’: Here’s How One Group Is Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade

The Center for Reproductive Rights, a pro-abortion advocacy group, on Tuesday posted a video to YouTube hailing the 40th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision.

The video’s message is simple: “Happy anniversary, baby (i.e. legalized abortion). Looking good for 40.”

“To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade we didn’t buy a ruby. Instead, the Center for Reproductive Rights asked Mehcad Brooks of the USA Network’s ‘Necessary Roughness’ and HBO’s ‘True Blood’ to prepare a special video message just for you,” the video’s YouTube description reads.

Final Thought: Look, we get that the video is supposed to be funny. We get it. We’re just not sure Roe v. Wade is the type of thing you want to joke about. Ever. Call us old-fashioned.

Conservatives and Libertarian minded folks win a battle (legal or otherwise), they thank God, or if they are non-believers, they at least humble themselves and know they are working for something greater than themselves and/or their personal needs.

Progressives spike the football, do endzone dances (that apparently last over 40 years), then look at those they’ve defeated and and say: “I want more… Give it to me.”

  This country will never be as great as it can be until we have the government monitoring every pregnancy from the time of conception until the baby is born. Maybe have law enforcement working with the gynecologist on every aspect of the fetus care.
  We also need the appropriate penalties for those that would commit such a heinous crime, after all it is murder. For the states without a death penalty, life in prison, and sense we all know that certain people would lie about rape, (just ask our more intelligent Senatorial candidates), there ought to be special investigations for “rape “and “miscarriage”.

  Larry, I agree with you 100%. See, these people are hypocrites. They want government out of their live as long as it suits their beliefs. Everyone else can go to hell. No one. Not you, the government or anyone else has the right to tell a woman what to do with HER body. Larry brought up a very valid argument…you want to force women into back alleys with the coat hanger abortions of old? Outlaw it and it will happen. No one. Not you nor the government has the right to tell someone who they cant and can love. PERIOD. You people here do the exact same thing you accuse the left of doing…interpreting the Constitution to what YOU want it to say. Hypocrites. “All men are created equal” so that doesn’t include women? Interpret away hypocrites. Tell your daughter when she gets raped at the age of 13-18 up to about 21 she is going to be forced to have the baby. I bet you scar her just as bad as allowing her to abort the rape. Tell the 13-18 year old girl who is molested by her father she has to carry that baby to term. Imagine how many times that girl has to relive those horrible nights. You all are hypocrites. The only thing that your basing your beliefs off of is your religion. Well guess what…not everyone is Christian. Speaking of….How many people did the Catholics MURDER when they found people who didn’t follow the same religion? The Crusades ring a bell? ANYONE?   Since the fetus is a human being from the time of conception and since the viability of that life depends so much on the care that the mother provides, it only make sense for the government to monitor all aspects of that care. There are many ways to have an abortion without going to a doctor’s office.
  
  Once such a law banning abortions takes effect, you may not think it is necessary, but I’m sure the government will.

  Don’t mind at all. The answer is no. I do go after the ad trolls because I had my ID stolen once not too long ago. So you will see me doing things to people who post links that lead to websites that are trying to steel money and/or ID’s from people. I wouldn’t wish that on even a regular troll here. I have no power here. I will track down who owns the posted links (called spamvertising) and relentlessly track them down and shut them down. That’s the limit of any policing I do here. I actually like some of the trolls here…. they’re fun to play with.

it is just unbelievable that the “progressives” celebrate such a thing. If any of you can find the recent internet photo of a baby being born through cessarian and it is grabing the Dr.’s finger, you will be horrified at late term abortions.
What else is interesting is how the Progs want the whole nanny state to help raise/care for their offspring when he/she survives the womb.

Awhile back I saw a beautiful, fully developed newborn, full head of dark black ****, thrown into the bottom of an empty 5 gallon white pail…like the child was garbage. I will NEVER be able to erase that picture from my mind.

It IS Murder…and they WILL pay…Only a fool believes there are no consequences for their actions…

Yes, Happy Anniversary Roe vs. Wade, for killing off one-third of my generation…We could have been great, we could have been contenders, but not only did you cull our numbers, but have nearly succeeded at convincing most of the rest us that this was all about reproductive rights and choice….You will have so much company in Hell, and they were so blind they will never figure out what actually got them there!

  We may or may not have prevented the birth of a few people who would have been important and done something great, but we have certainly prevented the birth of many more murderers and robbers and rapists. Common sense tells us that a baby born to parents who want him and are prepared to care for him has a better chance of ending up doing something worthwhile, while a baby born to parents who never want him, but were just too stupid and irresponsible to consider the consequences of their actions is in greater danger of going down a wrong path. So, the more abortions we have, the better the ratio of good people to bums, and the better off we all are. Thank God for abortion!

What a perversion of all that is good and right. There is nothing beautiful about the murder of innocents. Did you think the Sandy Hook massacre was a beautiful act? Why not? Six years or so ago, those little ones would have been fair game under this horrid law. Perfectly legal to pull them apart piece by piece while yet in the womb. There’s your picture of beauty.   Question…I was wondering why cant we have term deadlines(no pun intended). We declare someone dead when they dont have a pulse or heartbeat. Couldnt that be the determining factor in whether its ok to terminate. Definitely would end late term. Only exclusion would be when a mother is in late term life threatning distress.

1.It isn’t really a baby. Its a blob of tissue. It has no viability without outside help.
