On Wednesday, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took part in her last congressional testimony regarding the department’s actions before, during and after the Sept. 11 attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, where four Americans were killed including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

Clinton’s testimony was emotion filled — you could see it in her face and in her hand gestures. We’ve pulled together some of the photos to give you an idea with our own additions in the captions:

As I watched the Senate hearing I was worried that she was going to break her right hand while pounding on the desk. That action could have led to her inability to attend the House hearing after lunch.

Actually disappointed with the overall quality of questions on both sides of the isle.

Agree, we do not know anything new or of more detail than before the hearing.

Tired of hearing the Secretary of State claiming to accept responsibility and then lay blame on the decisions of congress to not fully fund the budget requests and the decisions of the “professionals in charge of security.

Really upsetting to hear her (quite frequently) referring to the Ambassador as “Chris or Christopher”. And my respect for Chris is exactly why “I” sent him to Libya. Does that explain why the Secretary, members of the Security Council, and the POTUS all stood around watch the events with no action taken other than diverting an unarmed drone and later launching a replacement unarmed drone?

Seems to me every Democrat on the panel was thanking her for her service and her testimony and singing her praises.

Sadly, Secretary Clinton is right; What does it matter now? The American public was lied to during the attack and the events were covered-up afterwards. I firmly believe there were things going on in Libya that were of such classified sensitivity that they could not be discussed. However, don’t create lies to cover it up!
