Dramatic Dash Cam Vid. Shows Toddler Narrowly Escaping Death Twice in One Accident!
An SUV on an icy road fishtailed into a semi, crushing the back of the vehicle and sending a toddler flying onto the road into oncoming traffic. The toddler was then nearly run over by another truck before the parents could collect the child.
WGN TV out of Chicago reported that the footage taken by a dash cam showing the 2-year-old girl narrowly escaping death twice occurred in Moscow on Sunday.

Posted on January 24, 2013 at 11:09pmFor all the control freaks out there the ACTUAL FACTS and STATISTICS from the National Safety Council ARE :
54% of traffic fatalities were NOT wearing their “safety” belt.
That means that 46% OF FATALITIES ARE WEARING A SEAT BELT !!!!!!!
8% Differential. Do I increase my chance of death 8% by skydiving, Scuba Diving, Rock climbing, Vertical Skateboarding, etc…. ?
LIVE FREE or DIE !!!!
This kid is a perfect example of why one SHOULD NOT wear a seat belt.
He COULD have been crushed, because he was stuck in the Seat.

Posted on January 23, 2013 at 6:45pmBad parenting. They passed another vehicle on an icy road, with oncoming traffic.
The child was not strapped into the car. She had been lying on a blanket on a shelf under the rear window.
Sure, they picked up the child first and put her into the car, then they proceeded immediately to start picking up their belongings.
Their full attention should have been focused on the child and her potential injuries.
This child should be taken away from these idiots.
Thank God the baby survived. Hope there’s a follow-up story about her condition.

Posted on January 23, 2013 at 6:35pmWe act in our own free well. God doesn’t intervene in our daily lives. If God made us all good and everything perfect than the reward of heaven for the believers would have no value. We have as free individuals a choice to follow God’s commandments or to even believe. The accident with the child God had no influence for good or bad. To say God saved that child is to say the next time a child is killed God didn’t save that child. Christ died on the cross for our sins; he didn’t die so that we wouldn’t sin, that is our choice.

Posted on January 23, 2013 at 6:20pmWhen the father and mother realized the child wasn’t in the SUV, he jumped out and yelled to
his wife “akkypatno” as he went to get the child. The word means be carefull in Russia. One
could surmise the child was sleeping on the back seat next to the mother. Car seats for
babies or seat belts aren’t used much in Russia.

Posted on January 23, 2013 at 5:10pmVideo out of Moscow – so I’m guessing they don’t have any of those “nanny state” laws and regs on seatbelts. But what amazes me is that you what looks like the mother sitting in the back seat with the child and Dad driving. You have the accident and the dad runs over and scoops the kid off the road and seems to put her next to the drivers door of the car (not smart really but anyway) – but the mom doesn’t rush from the car to check on her child. No, she rushes to rescue the blanket and some other personal item off the road. She doesn’t even seem to make a move to check on the child, and even the Dad quickly leaves the kid to see what is in the road and seems to be checking on how bad the car is. Where is the maternal instinct and the proper perspective on what is important?
Amazing the oncoming 2nd truck didn’t run over this kid.

Posted on January 23, 2013 at 1:23pmHave you ever been in an accident? You get your bell rung first and one doesnt necessarily think/know their child is outside the vehicle and probably is looking IN the vehicle, on the floor, etc. I didnt exactly see the person walk casually over and pick her up like they dropped a quarter. Take a walk in another’s shoes before you accuse or at least try.

So I’m limited because I don’t see things YOUR way? Oh, and BTW I’m not an Atheist. Unlike a religious person who claims to know there is a God and all that goes with that and unlike an atheist who believes they KNOW that no such thing exists, I am an Agnostic which means I feel it’s impossible to KNOW either way. If anything I’m a but more open-minded than you are as a theist apparently based on your reply to my comment. I acknowledge it’s a possibility but make no claim to know either way. I am offering a different take on what happened. One you clearly don’t like so much you felt you had to insult me. It’s clear that you believe. That’s fine. Am I trying to belittle you for how you believe? No. the only thing i know we can say with 100% certainty is that in our universe there is no such thing as chance or randomness.

Posted on January 23, 2013 at 11:14amIf by “God” you mean “physics”, and if by “save” you mean “statistically speaking most children thrown from a car after an impact like this are killed”, then ok.
What we saw here is called an “exception”, not a “miracle.”

Posted on January 23, 2013 at 1:37pmPretty much. this is basic physics. the kid was launched from the vehicle at the correct velocity and direction getting them to land in the “sweet spot” where they were safe. This was in no way random but atheists and theists tend to assume that means I am implying direct intervention of some unseen force. They fail to get that we live in a universe governed by causality which means there is no such thing as “luck” or chance and nothing is random. Just like how the Earth’s position today in space was determined all the way back when the universe was created and everything was set into motion. This is what Einstein meant by ‘God does not play dice.’ I go a step further and say free will doesn’t exist. What we have is the illusion of free will. But that’s a discussion for another day.

Posted on January 23, 2013 at 3:58pmOh, I don’t think you’re off at all about “free will.” A single mathematical formula governs how every particle collided and coalesced after the beginning, and we are nothing more than an interaction of these particles, whether on a universal scale or within the mind of an individual. We’re just very complex ping-pong balls bouncing around, as that initial blast set into motion.
At the end of the day, I didn’t even “choose” to write this, but rather it is simply the result of something set in motion far before my existence in this current form.
