While many GOP lawmakers in the House and Senate relentlessly grilled Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during Wednesday’s hearings on the Benghazi terrorist attack, Democrats spent most of their time doling out lavish praise for the outgoing secretary of state.
Yes, it’s true that Wednesday was almost certainly the last time Clinton will appear in front of Congress as the head of the State Department — but the hearings were about getting to the truth about Benghazi attack, which claimed the lives of four Americans. At the end of the day, it’s still about finding out what really happened on that fateful night and holding those responsible accountable.
Instead of pressing to get the answers that have proven elusive for Congress and the American people, some Democrats instead used their allotted time to tell Clinton just how great she is, followed up mostly by softball questions.

Perhaps they know something that the rest of us have only guessed at – that she intends to run for President in 2016.
One even went so far as to say that he wished she had won the primary in 2008.
I wonder if Mrs Clinton started to get that uncomfortable feeling in her stomach that one gets after eating too many chocolates. Perhaps not. Perhaps she has a sweet tooth.
The end result is, of course, that America – and the rest of the world for that matter – is little the wiser about the Benghazi affair.
That, no doubt, is a happy result for some.
Mr Beck has said that he would like to find, or create, some Woodwards and Bernsteins for his new news organisation. Such people are needed and the Benghazi affair should be among their first assignments.
Should an illuminating result come from such an investigation, Blaze TV would be elevated to considerable heights of credibility with a subsequent increase in viewers. Such a respected organisation is sorely needed and is long overdue.

I see this as a total lack of respect for the office for which each member took an oath to. Looks as though clinton was provided with yet another avenue for which to further her own causes. Funny how the republican always seem to be about two steps behind the scams on the left. There is no “live and learn” with them. Strange times we live in and even stranger times just over the horizon I fear.
As for the sound bites, I hope they all had plenty of chap stick available for all the a** kissing I witnessed……

There should be ethic hearing on how these people who are suppose to be representing the nation are actually circle the wagon to protect another D. whose lack of action, ineffiency or maybe even partisan ideology caused the death of 4 American who waited for help over 8 hours before being over run. These politician should be ashamed of what they just did yesterday. But they are not they view this as a game……And when Clinton said”what does it matter” they just kept on circling the wagons…..
The only way to save this nation is to destroy the political parties…BOTH OF THEM.
And remove the ability for a two party system to ever be reestablished.

Hillary deserves all the derision she has received in regards to Benghazi, and more so. The fact that she is still Secretary of State, and wasn’t bounced by Obama over this tragedy, is very telling. What POSes these Congress-critters are, falling all over themselves, practically slobbering on Hillary, when they should just be getting the facts of matter. I am certain, many of those fawning Congress-critter fans were playing up to Hillary for consideration of possible posts should she run for and win the presidency. Now, based on her track record as Sec. of State, just culminating with Benghazi and her perpetuation of the “It’s the video’s fault!” meme, she pretty much squelched any possible small chance she had of becoming President. Given that, I wouldn’t be surprised if she quietly ends this current term, or even resigns before it is over, retiring from politics to write books, travel and, as she said last year or year before, get some sleep. She’s done, there will be no Hillary Clinton POTUS, not even remotely.
