Fifth Grade Girl in Trouble in School for Paper Gun

A Philadelphia fifth-grader said she was scolded by a school administrator and even searched in front of her entire class last week — all because she pulled out a paper gun.

Melody Valentin’s grandfather had made her the “gun” — which resembled a piece of paper with a chunk torn out of it — the day before, and she stuck it in her pocket and forgot about it, WTXF-TV reported. When she went to throw it out in class the next day, another student spotted it and called her out. A school administrator was summoned, and Melody was reprimanded for having the paper.

“He yelled at me and said I shouldn’t have brought the gun to school and I kept telling him it was a paper gun but he wouldn’t listen,” she told the station. The administrator allegedly threatened to have her arrested, and other students called her a “murderer.”

Melody’s mother, Dianna Kelly, is furious and has been keeping her daughter out of class to avoid harassment. She said she wants to pull her out of the school permanently.

“Why did he threaten my daughter? Why did you stand over my daughter and tell her that you should call the cops on her? ‘You can be arrested?’ Why were you trying to scare her?” Kelly said.

School officials did not return a request for comment from WTXF. The Philadelphia school district said it was looking into the matter.

Schools across the country have been on high alert in the wake of the elementary school massacre in Newtown, Conn. In another incident this month just northwest of Philadelphia, a 5-year-old girl was suspended and labeled a “terrorist threat” all because she told a friend she was going to shoot her with a pink toy bubble gun.

This is plainly social engineering if they make kids afraid of getting in trouble in school treating them as criminals it will induce deep seeded fears of guns in their subconscious minds and the next generation of adults will be very pro gun control as they were raised to fear guns and they were taught that if a person has a gun they are a bad person !!!

We must stand up and stop this NOW we do not entrust our teachers to indoctrinate our children we entrust them to teach them.

AMERICA WAKE UP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When my oldest was little (the early 90′s)- I remember it was a big deal among my friends and others to refuse to buy their kids toy guns or squirt guns. The moms were very self-righteous about it; “I NEVER let MY baby play with toy guns!”..blah blah blah… By the time my next child was born (late 90′s)- it had spread to include a ban on anything that had ANYTHING resembling a trigger on it. It was pretty ridiculous. My very wise Husband once told me, while watching a friend scold her son for wanting to play with a squirt gun; “Humans have a natural instinct to make and use weapons. You can refuse to let your kids even SEE a toy gun…they’ll just make a gun out of a stick.” He was totally right. I’ve watched kids do this countless times over the years. Real solutions aren’t found in outward appearances or simple prohibitions. The real solutions are found in the way you help shape and tame and nurture their inward selves. You can put a gun in the hands of 5 different people and you’ll get 5 very different results. Guns aren’t the problem, and certainly, freaking out over a paper gun is just plain lunacy.

Clearly the real terrorists are the ones running the schools, not these innocent children throwing torn pieces of paper away, pointing their fingers at each other or blowing bubbles. I’m waiting for the day when school officials like these outlaw bananas in school lunches because they look too much like guns. More evidence of the mental derangement known as progressivism. If I was starting over with my kids now it would be home schooling all the way!

If these FTARD that run our public schools want to make the envrionment safe, they would:
1. Spend more time monitoring the kids on psycotropic medication and their families or even move them to a “Special School.”
2. Put at least two armed guards in each school – you could use the money by firing some of your bloated, worthless admin staff.
3. Give the kids a constructive way to burn off their natural energy – libs will be the first to say that we are making towel heads upset cause we punish the whole country with our drones, but then they will be the first to punish everyone for the actions of a few. You people need to know just how bad your mixed messages are screwing up the judgement of our children.
4. Don’t allow anyone under 15 access to violent movies and video games. After 15, most normal people find that stuff to be stupid. But if they don’t, then they are hopless and should be tracked with an implant.
5. Sue Hollywood\TV Media for everything we can and use the money to buy guns for schools. Electric fences and mean a$$ dogs would be great too.

The parents of this child need to sue this teacher, the school, and the school district for slander (the action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person’s reputation). This child was falsely, maliciously, and publicly labeled a murderer and exposed to ridicule, shame, and shunning.

If these schools had gave Madeline O’Hair the finger and told her that That it was “We The People rather We A Few” we wouldn’t be reading all these headlines. Back when the schools started off the day with a prayer and they taught the difference between right & wrong kids behaved. Now they cuss teachers out and give the principle the finger and threaten the school with a law suit. Back in my day when they had God in school you never heard of kids killing kids. These kids are the products of parents that use foul language and have never been to church so they have no knowelege of God or right or wrong.

  Better make sure the state you home school in doesn’t dictate your curriculum and textbooks that can be used. Also, look at what is on the SOL (Standards Of Learning) testing that your children will be required to take and pass in many states. The values and ethics of the “State” or progressive liberals who make up most of our educational expertise are infused throughout society. Stand watch on all that is fed to your children’s minds.

The parent should be on the phone to the police demanding they file assault of a minor charges against this piece of you know what. Where are some of the good ol philly boys? I read stuff like this every day. What the heck is wrong with these So-Called Adults??? These people (teachers, administrators, etc….) have NO BUSINESS being in schools. 5 year olds being expelled from school because they made a gun with their fingers, and pointed it at another kid. Really???

McCarthyism needs to make a return to this country. Our schools need to be purged of these LIBERAL FOOLS, as well as, other institutions in which they have infiltrated.

“Progressive Indoctrination” is too slow in this case. Strike while the fire is hot and focus a laser beam on children from Jr. High – down. “Shame Indoctrination” in this case is a much faster and effective way to keep the fear in young children. If you were a fifth grader and saw a classmate “called out” like this, you sure as hell wouldn’t even say a Polak joke let alone make a ‘spud gun’. Plus other “young parents” see this happening to that parent and immediately think “This is not worth it. It’s EASIER to just not have a gun”.

The Left is STILL five steps ahead of the American people. Why? Because they anticipated every move to be made years ago, and just waited for the right moment. The gun ban and confiscation WILL go through. It already has – and all the papers have been drafted – we just don’t know it yet. This is only one (major) step in the sweeping Progressive changes we will be seeing in the next four years. And you shut your mouth if you think we are “tin foils”. Oby WILL take advantage of having endless terms because there is no stopping this movement, and he’s not going to give up the “collective power”.

VERY soon you will see the beginning of the onslaught of Progressive based commercials. It will be the norm to see ZERO or a “token” White actor in any commercial, and you will see hundreds of “Tide” commercials with gay marriage scenario’s. I’m “tin foil”? Come back and comment in 3 months….
