What, Exactly, Does Boehner Know About the U.S. Gun-Running Allegations in Libya? These Comments Raise Questions

Immediately following the attack on the American diplomatic outpost in Benghazi that left four Americans — including a U.S. ambassador, two Navy SEALs and an additional civil servant — dead, some started wondering if Ambassador Chris Stevens may have been the pointman in a U.S.-led gun-running scheme to supply arms to both Libyan and Syrian rebels. Now, for the first time, House Speaker John Boehner has indicated that he may also know more about this potential gun-running scheme through a “classified source.”

As additional details of that fateful day at the CIA annex unfold, more and more politicians, military and intelligence officials are raising questions about the claim that the administration may have been funneling weapons from Benghazi to anti-Ghadafi insurgents in Libya and later, to anti-Assad insurgents in Syria, via Turkey. (Retired Gen. Boykin raised it again just this week.) Not before now, however, has an official leader of the GOP discussed the theory.

Speaking with conservative author and pundit Laura Ingraham on her radio broadcast Wednesday, Boehner noted that he is aware that there was a potential gun-running scheme at play and that his information on the matter has come from a “classified source.”

“I’m somewhat familiar with the chatter about this and the fact that these arms were moving towards Turkey, but most what I know about this came from a classified source,” Boehner told Ingraham before adding that he could not “elaborate on it.”

Does Boehner mean that the theory is being discussed behind closed, classified doors, or does the government have classified information corroborating the scheme that it is not sharing? Do Republicans know more than they’re letting on? Who is the classified source and is the government investigating this theory to the fullest extent possible? Questions abound.

You bet that is at the heart of the matter. Obama the wonder pony wants to take away OUR right to bear arms while supplying arms to overthrow other countries leaders by arming the muslim bullshithood brothers and assorted Taliban rebels. He is a complete and utter disgrace and should be impeached. Stevens and the others were just “bumps in the road” remember? Clinton is as disgusting as her lecherous old man.

just proves that they are all in on it together, dimwits & repungnants are all the same, just two-bit actors in the big scheme of things…but, they really put on a great show for our entertainment, and all the while someone behind the curtain is doing the evil deeds…they use smoke & mirrors to get us to look one way, while they are doing something more sinister in another direction…

All I know is that every week, we see some athiest making a stink in the media about violations of their civil rights, yet every dollar that goes to an Islamic state supports Islam? You can’t have it both ways, the Chinese will think you are nuts?

And we thought that the Mexican DRUG CARTELS were evil ! Wait till we see the what the Democrat GUN RUNNERS can do ! ! , or is it the Progressive GUN RUNNERS?. They must be smart, we voted them in to office. Wow , I am sooooo confident now!! Wait til obama care kicks in full boar. Why we might even live to the ripe old age of 35 before we become obsolete.
