BBC Video Captures the Moment When a Squirrel Realizes He Is Being Stalked by a Leopard

New video from BBC caught the hysterical moment when a squirrel realized he was about to become one hungry Leopard’s lunch.

The squirrel was enjoying a snack when he suddenly dropped his treat and a look of fear appeared on his face. Then he took off running for his life.

  Headline on Drudge right now…….Child labor uncovered in Apple’s supply line. The stock was off 12% on Thursday and 2% on Friday. How about a story on insider trading ahead of information that materially affect the value of a companies stock price. I don’t know what sound a squirrel would make when it is ******* itself, but would be willing too bet, it sounds alot like crickets.

  Your dam right. I trust the content here. I didn’t know I needed to filter the Blaze for my children’s sake. Next time I am around Glenn and his family maybe I will just drop the “F Bomb”, see how he likes that.

  The leopard and squirrel are never even shown in the same frame. The lighting isn’t even the same. Scroll up and look at the screen shots. I don’t think this is even real.

  Exactly! This man drowns us in the importance of family and protecting our children from the filth in the world, then allows this to be up for days. If it where some punk that worked here that sneaked it past an editor, fine, take it down already.   I just hate how stuff like this makes me feel like a jerk… because it’s hard not to complain. And it’s not so much a complaint as constructive criticism.
  
  I find some of the stuff amusing, but don’t need TheBlaze showing it to me. It’s already all over social media. I come here for NEWS. Sure, some of the trivial stuff they can get away with, because it’s genuinely funny or interesting… but this? If I saw this on YouTube I wouldn’t even take the time to call my GF over to my desk and show her, let alone write an article on it. I was just left here with a confused frown.
  
  It’s hard to direct people to TheBlaze for “critical information” when stuff like this is on the front page. It really drives down the credibility rating.

I have a problem with this video. The leopard won’t waste its time with a squirrel. A squirrel provides too little meat for the leopard to expend the effort catching it. A leopard is an animal that will drag full-sized gazelles up into trees to keep it out of reach of lions. Squirrel? No.

All we have is a squirrel dropping a nut, cut to a leopard, cut back to the squirrel with a voice-over saying, “s**t”, and then the squirrel runs. It could’ve been a leaf falling and the squirrel would run.

Of course, the idiots, such as the ones who voted Obama into office, would say, “hurr hurr, squirrel”, and then click to a cat video.

okay that’s it. we are thoroughly DISGUSTED at the level of immaturity and SICK on THE BLAZE -again- that something totally inappropriate is ‘epic’ or ‘hilarious’ and that anyone with a heart would think it is ‘hilarious’ a small animal is running in fear for it’s actual LIFE. (and yes WE HUNT deer and furbearing game but we do not TORTURE it first). .. to call an animal realizing it’s about to be torn apart and eaten ‘hysterical’ and ‘hilarious’ is on almost par with a ghoul teenager gouging some little animal’s eyes out and laughing. SICK.

Glenn Beck’s THE BLAZE is getting really questionable —and we are very loyal ‘fans’ pouring our hard-earned wages into supporting Mercury One and THEBLAZE. . we are SO disappointed.

  I think I may know what happened-
  
  The uploader may have changed the video title after this article was published, and the language could be an overlay, which YouTube allows you to create. In other words, the video could have been altered after the fact. That, or TheBlaze used the wrong link to another video.
  
  It’s still not Blazeworthy, but I just saw the original unedited one and it is kind of funny… much better than this version. The “$#it” is just too much. Less is more.

Its expression never changed… all I saw was a normal response.

What’s so funny about a squirrel dropping its food and running away? Nothing. The only reason people find it’s funny is the way in which the video was cut, and even that’s lame.

Also, no warning about the swearing in the title or video itself. Not that I care, but I imagine you’re going to offend somebody.

I think Jason Howerton must be running low on sleep…

  You have to know that anyone with the name of “Jason” is of this crop of younger people who have no sense of decorum, manners, adult thought process. They have been raised on vulgar TV shows, vulgar “music”, vulgar videos, etc. Garbage in, garbage out. To them, this is what passes for normal. Any generation with names such as Aiden, Jayden, Kayden, Hayden, Jason, etc, have to have air-heads for parents and will most likely grow up with silliness in their nature. Give a son a real man’s name, (George, Henry, Jack, yes, even SUE), and he will man-up quicker and forego these immature acts of inanity. ;-)
