Now Newark Mayor Cory Booker Has Saved a Dog From Freezing to Death

First he rescued a woman from a burning building, then he gave people shelter, food and blankets in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy; and now Newark Mayor Cory Booker has rescued a stranded dog from freezing to death.

A reporter and camera crew noticed the dog sitting out in the cold while they were out working on a story. They noticed hours later that the dog was still there. That’s when the reporter took to Twitter to alert the mayor, who is extremely active on the social network.

“Make pet owners get their dogs out of the cold,” WABC-TV reporter Toni Yates tweeted. She later asked Booker to “do something, call someone.”

And he did.

Shortly after the messages were posted, Booker showed up at the scene, took the pooch in his arms and personally rescued the dog.

“This is brutal weather. This dog is shaking really bad and you just can’t leave your dogs out here on a day like this and go away and expect them to be OK,” the mayor told WABC.  “Hypothermia on any animal including a human animal will set in pretty quickly. So this is very sad. You can just feel the dog shaking pretty badly.”

Booker then called the dog’s owners and told them it was unacceptable to leave the dog outside in freezing weather. As it turns out, the owners were away in Queens, N.Y. and apparently didn’t know their dog had gotten outside. They thanked the mayor for saving their dog.

In April, Booker and his security detail went into a burning house to rescue a stranded woman. Booker carried the woman out of the house on his shoulder.

Booker also showed up to the scene of a car accident in June to assist.

I guess one unlisted qualification to be President is to be a bad actor !!!
This badly choreographed scene (let’s not forget all his other heroic deeds ! Has anyone made him a cape yet?)
Hillary’s choking up, getting angry, getting indignant emotional rolly polly the other day (“what difference does it make anyway?” I’ll tell you what difference it makes, an American Ambassador was assasinated it and the family and the American people deserve answers, does that make a difference to you?)

However, considering all the indoctrination and excellence of our fine Education system I have no doubt the american populace will achieve the IQ necessary to vote for their caped heroes (see the Main Stream Media for proper propaganda video).

Amazing all the photo ops that pop up when you have a camera crew following you around. When is he going to lift a car off a pedestrian lying in the street? It’s a bird, it’s a plane…it’s BLACK MAN!!

At least the dog benefited from Booker’s publicity shenanigans.

He is may of NEWARK, of courser they are that naive to buy into this nonsense. When your mayor of a hell hole dump like Newark, you really have to lose all sense of shame to make a name for yourself. I mean, you can’t rely on those pesky things like job creation, crime reduction, parks and public development, corruption and waste prosecutions or anything like that. His last PR stunt was gong on food stamps for a month, now he’s rescuing dogs?! LOL. What next, stage a mass shooting where he happens to be the guy in tactical gear to kill all the bad guy?! LoL. What a douche.

Funny it is an older puppy not an adult dog. Not that much risk. So yes it looks staged to me. I want to see him walk up to a pit bull and carry that strange dog off. Not happening.

But I thought government isn’t supposed to help people. It’s only supposed to secure the borders and deliver the mail.

If you help people when a hurricane rips their house apart, all you do is encourage irresponsible behavior, i.e., living somewhere where a hurricane may strike once in a hundred years.

Do you have that foam hand on with the #1? A t-shirt the goombahs got you with #1 on it? How much was the bill for Sandy aid #1 and what section of the populace was it squeezed out of? Do you operate a cash only “refuse” service or just good old country fare from Sicily? Who was on the panel of goombas that voted you #1, and what did you do to the runner up? Did you take his whole fambly out to sleep with the fishes?

Really good PR to educate idiots leaving animals outdoors unattended in this harsh weather.

As for the legitimacy of the scenario… It all comes off as really staged. The only capable person thruout the city is the flipping Mayor? No one else is capable of doing something right? Has society dumbed down & become so dependent relying on a seemingly hands on mayor to guide by example? Must be a sheeple invested area.

Message to the dog owner. Get your dog spayed before she drops another litter, that will end up in the cold streets, dog pound, or flattened in the road.

So the reporters ‘just’ happened to be there with photographers. He ‘just happened’ to be available when the REPORTERS called, and HE came to the rescue…

the reporters were SOOO concerned about the dog that, rather than put it in their news van and calling the owner, they called the Mayor, who HAPPENED to have a little free time of his busy schedule to drive down and rescue the dog, before it froze to death in front of the ‘concerned’ reporters.

    I SMELL DOG POO…

Thank God you helped save that dog. You might do some stupid things, but I appreciate knowing that dog will get a warm bed. Now, you need to publish that all who know of dogs left out in the bitter cold should call you so you can come rescue them. Some un-feeling or un-caring people own animals and don’t give them the attention they need. Those people should be left out in the bitter cold overnight.
