Sarah Palin Is Out at Fox News

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s contract as a Fox News contributor was not renewed, the network announced Friday. (AP)
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and Fox News have parted ways.
The 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee’s contract as a paid network contributor has ended and will not be renewed, Fox News’ executive vice president of programming said Friday.
“We have thoroughly enjoyed our association with Governor Palin. We wish her the best in her future endeavors,” Bill Shine said in a statement to TheBlaze.
A source close to Palin told Real Clear Politics, which was first to report the news, that it was Palin who “decided not to renew the arrangement.”
“It’s my understanding that Gov. Palin was offered a contract by Fox, and she decided not to renew the arrangement,” the source told Real Clear Politics. “She remains focused on broadening her message of common-sense conservatism across the country and will be expanding her voice in the national discussion.”
A Fox spokeswoman did not address those remarks in an email to TheBlaze.
Signs of friction between Palin and the network emerged over the summer when Palin took to Facebook and wrote that “Fox canceled all my scheduled interviews” during one night of the Republican National Convention.
At the time, Shine said the RNC’s condensed schedule made it necessary to bump Palin.
“Our plans changed based on the fact that the RNC condensed the schedule of speeches from four nights to three. We look forward to having Governor Palin back as soon as we can,” he said.
According to the New York Times, Palin was in negotiations with Fox News for a new contract last week. Her original contract started in January 2010 and ended this month; her last appearance on the network was in mid-December.

Posted on January 25, 2013 at 6:45pmI am glad she has decided to leave Fox News. She is way too important to waste her time there. She will be a sought after speaker and still holds mega power with the Conservative Right, whether Bill O’Reilly approves or not. Now she will be free to expand her enfluence. Fox found out the hard way that she cannot be silenced or manipulated. America loves Sarah Palin and the old guard and the Fox establishment could not handle the fact that she held more influence than they did. The Left and the media, INCLUDING FOX NEWS trashed her reputation and held her back, insteading of supporting her. She is a brave Patriot, beautiful woman, mother, and wife. And like it or not, SHE IS INTELLIGENT. Hope to see her back in the political arena where she belongs. She has a lot to add to the conversation, instead of being forced to listen to the same old tired horses over and over again.

Since Palin’s political credential are more than a presidential term old, it was inevitable that Foxnews would let her go.
I was a little bit surprised that Huckabee has lasted as long as he has. But his show has more “entertainment” than Palin with his guitar playing. Not saying he is a great musician. I really am not the one to judge that. But it is important that he keeps part of his show non-political & light. That is why he is still around. Huckabee morphed from a political commentator to a political/cultural commentator with some light entertainment. Again this is why he is still around.

Sara cares about the country. For those of us who know the Alaska life style, I can easily see why she decided not renew. Frankly, doing tv would be getting in the way of the many projects her family runs. Second, when she comes down this way, she still draws bigger crowds then any republican leader. You’re likely some Leftist insurgent spreading your toxic rhetoric to try and discredit a True Patriotic Conservative, such as Mrs. Palin.
So, you want to know all the places that Mitt (who as a Conservative I could not vote for either) is a Progressive, or just the most recent ones?

http://youtu.be/JiFOkBje7cE
As for Fox, I was hoping she’d decide to leave. It just wasn’t the right venue for her. She’s a live audience / big crowd type person (as you’ll see in the movie). We always ask for someone from the outside of “Boomtown D.C” to come in and straighten out government and fight for the people; Sarah was of that mold. The more I’ve learned about her the more I realize how much more qualified she was than Barack Obama and how much more honest and hardworking and dedicated than Joe Biden. She had old school appeal. Can’t wait to see what she does next.

As I recall Beck endorsed Bauchman as the one, the most conservative of the bunch. When she quit he moved his support to Santorum. When he lost, out of deperation he clung to Romney. Just where does the trick part come in?

If the GOP won the senate and they have control of the house, then they have the power stop and impeach obama for the crimes he had committed.
or if the GOP rhinos won the presidency, romney would been blamed for the down fall of America.

Not much difference between any of the candidates that were tossed out there for Conservatives to battle over. It felt like scraps after a big dinner party were tossed our way and the elites were laughing. If we truly want to take back this once GREAT NATION from certain destruction we need to pick true Conservative leaders at the LOCAL level!!!! Start weeding out the old established dirtbags on Capital Hill. Take back the Senate and preserve the House. Come on America! But one thing I noticed was that Fox was the first network to excitedly declare Obama the winner in 2012 and they were not in any way upset, being the true conservatives that they pretend to be. It’s a game in the media just like it is in the congress and senate. The two parties are rival gangs fighting a turf war. They don’t care who wins or loses in the long run. The most conservative?? How are you defining ‘conservative’? If you define it how it has typically been—someone who wants limited government, supports free markets, wants lower taxes, then Ron Paul was the most conservative out of the bunch.
Other than RP none of them were for individual freedom, ending the wars, ending the FED, etc, etc, the list goes. I mean Santorum wanted to make porn illegal and thought a woman that had been raped should be forced to have the child. With views like that you can go ahead and go home…because no one in their right mind would vote for you.

She ruined the tea party and the likes of them. They should have stayed out of the movement. The original tea party just wanted fiscal constraint, a strong dollar, and individual liberty. We get none of this from either party except social issue crap. The coming fiscal issues that are coming she has NO knowledge of how to navigate them. Other than that there is little reason to doubt why Romney lost, just like there is little doubt why McCrappy lost. They both are not true conservatives and they both had to pretend to be something they are not to get the nomination. If conservatives don’t wake up and smell reality that the GOP will surrender conservatism every time to get votes (that they fail to get anyways) then we will continue to lose this nation, but in reality the nation is already lost. Palin is not a diehard Republican, and that’s why I liked her. The GOP as a party only cares about staying in power. It’s time for a reboot.

I can barely stomach to even lay eyes on Bill Oreilly or Sean Hannity any longer.. Both are disturbing for different reasons. Both are frauds and neither are Conservative. Wouldn’t be surprise if Sean Hannity didn’t come out of the closet soon.

He has become nothing more than a self-serving individual within the hubris of his own agenda.
Don’t just ‘hear’ what he says, ‘listen’ to how he says it. He’s just as much of a narcissist as Obama.
Every single night he mentions his books, how to get them, and where they “his” books stand on the NY Times list.
He’s not “watching out” for anyone or anybody but himself.
He’s created a major false sense of security to the millions of listeners that will eventually become collateral damage as a result.
