Obama Attacks Fox; Find Out Which Host Fired Back Here

President Obama’s White House has a troubled history with conservative and/or right-leaning media, and has done pretty much since the president took office. The rancor on both sides is generally equivalent.

Certainly, an equal amount of rancor was loosed this weekend from both sides, when President Obama criticized Republicans for being overly beholden to Fox News and radio host Rush Limbaugh, only to have one prominent Fox host fire back accusing him of thin skinned dishonesty.

First, there was President Obama’s comment itself, which he made in an interview with the liberal magazine The New Republic (emphasis added):

Well, look, I’ve always believed that there are a bunch of Republicans of goodwill who would rather get something done than suffer through the sort of nasty atmosphere that prevails in Washington right now. It’s not a fun time to be a member of Congress.

And I think if you talk privately to Democrats and Republicans, particularly those who have been around for a while, they long for the days when they could socialize and introduce bipartisan legislation and feel productive. So I don’t think the issue is whether or not there are people of goodwill in either party that want to get something done. I think what we really have to do is change some of the incentive structures so that people feel liberated to pursue some common ground.

One of the biggest factors is going to be how the media shapes debates. If a Republican member of Congress is not punished on Fox News or by Rush Limbaugh for working with a Democrat on a bill of common interest, then you’ll see more of them doing it.

This mention of Fox by name prompted an angry reaction from Fox host Greta van Susteren, who fired back on her blog with the following criticism:

Apparently President Obama wants his usual media pass and Fox challenges his policies – which happens to be the media’s job.[...]

And do you know what else? Brace yourself for this one! Some Democrats have told me that they want to come on Fox to discuss issues but they get heat from their Leadership for appearing on Fox. Does President Obama know that? So which Party is intimidating its members? And to say Senator Harry Reid is willing to compromise is just wrong. He has not allowed a budget to get to the Senate Floor for years to even begin a discussion. The budget process is where all compromise begins and ends and ended it before it even got started.

This is not the first time the Obama administration and Fox News have clashed. Yessiree, let us the stifle the debate, it is their view of “transfoming America”, particularly since they are in lock step in proffering the notion that the Constitution is outdated and no longer relevent.

These seditious hooligans are nothing more than a gang at high levels. They would make criminals of the law-abiding elements of society and tout themselves as saviors of the barbarians who support them.

These are the organizers of the OWS and other reactionary element who do harm to the nation in the guise of right to protest. They will not stop, they will not yield of their own volition, they are souless cretins who will foment discord among a peaceful citizenry in the hope to gain absolute power through created chaos. Everyone and everything is nothing more than collateral damage in their march to absolutism.

I tried to purchase a handgun last week….Thanks to that TROLL D. Feinstein most online distributors are sold out and having trouble getting inventory….I’m sure the bad guys on the streets of Shitcago are loading up on weapons… Biden and Odummer….DUMB and DUMBER……

Adam Lanza “did not” go into Sandy Hook Elementary School with an AR-15 Bushmaster….it was in his car. All the early reporting including CBS said that it was confirmed that he went in with not two pistols but four. I believe if the carnage was as bad as they say he used the shotgun mostly (which they said was left in car in the latter reporting). This is nothing mor etha “Never let a good crisis go to waste ” moment for Obama and the gun grabbers.

ahhhhh……poor babies, they only control 99.9% of all media, hollywood, and college campuses around the country….boo-hoo cry me a river. Fox News and Rush are such big obsticles and threats that he got 99.9% of his agenda passed and upheld through out the courts in his first term….that .1% must really stick in his little commie craw.

The major (so called) news services (so called) are pure propaganda. If it wasn’t for Fox news, we wouldn’t be getting anything but White House drivel.

You know, Meteors, as usual your arguements are so full of holes we should start referring to your posts as SCREEN DOORS. Fox News is center left politically. Though lately, they have been trending more towards the right. Its just that you are so far to the left, that everyone seems extreme right to you.

As far as Colmes, Beckel, Geraldo, and other libs on Fox being stupid. Yeah, thats a lib for ya. You may not be able to see it because you are in the middle of it, but all of those trees do make a forest.

You seem to think Fox is unfair because they are so anti obama 24/7, as you say. What about ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, PBS MSNBC, AND 85% of the newspapers? Are they all unfair because they are 24/7 pro obama?

The left doesn’t like talk radio because they can’t make it on talk radio. The left cannot mount a solid arguement for their positions because they are all based in FEELINGS not fact. On talk radio you need to be able to present a solid arguement. Feelings aren’t solid.

If it wasn’t for Fox news would anyone ever hear about “Fast and Furious”? Know anything about the screw ups in Benghazi? There is a very good reason that it is the number one cable news network and has been for years. There is also a good reason the Obama regime hates it.

One of the most glaring examples of biased news on the part of the MSN happend just this week. There were THOUSANDS of Pro-lifers marching in Washington this past week. I went to ABC News to see if they reported it. Absolutely NOTHING. YET a few days later there was a rally against gun ownership and it was covered by ABC! Tell me Fox didn’t cover both of them, like real journalists are suppose to do.
