President Barack Obama has fired a gun.

“Yes, in fact, up at Camp David, we do skeet shooting all the time,” Obama said in an interview with the New Republic when asked whether he’d ever shot before.

“Not the girls, but oftentimes guests of mine go up there,” Obama continued in the interview, published Sunday. “And I have a profound respect for the traditions of hunting that trace back in this country for generations. And I think those who dismiss that out of hand make a big mistake.”

“Part of being able to move this forward is understanding the reality of guns in urban areas are very different from the realities of guns in rural areas. And if you grew up and your dad gave you a hunting rifle when you were ten, and you went out and spent the day with him and your uncles, and that became part of your family’s traditions, you can see why you’d be pretty protective of that,” he added.

The only gun this guy probably ever picked up, was a blow gun, and that was in his old country. He referred to guests that shoot at Camp David, not himself.

Honestly? Can anyone who has ever done any skeet shooting tell me they could actually picture this guy with a 12 guage on his shoulder pulling the trigger? Golf I can picture. Skeet shooting, never. What a liar.

Someone needs to whisper in Barack Obama’s ear…”Psst, that wasn’t skeet shooting Mr. President. That was a drone strike you were doing between golf games and it isn’t a sport, it is actually real killing sir. No clay pigeons, real people on the kill list Mr. President.

Can some one please tell me when the last time Obama retreated to Camp David was. I know the G8 summit and right before a debate for prep. But when is he actually there shooting skeet……if this happens ‘all the time”

Where the H is all this talk about hunting coming from?!?! THAT GUY is just defending tradition here trying to mend his bitter clinger remarks from years ago. THE SECOND AMENDMENT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SPORT!!!! Do you think the politicians, if writing a constitution today would include an amendment “All people have the right to basketball courts. This right shall not be infringed.”

SERIOUSLY WTF IS THIS STILL A VALID ARGUMENT?!

This has to be a lie, but I’m not surprised. It’s one whopper after another with this guy.

Do you really think the secret service would let anyone with a loaded gun in close quarters around the president? Any president. And it wouldn’t matter who the “guest” or “guests” are. This just does not happen.

Mr President,

I live on the other side of the planet and even I know that the 2nd Amendment has absolutely nothing to do with hunting.

It is their to ensure that Americans can protect themselves from anybody that might do them harm – including their own government.
