$50M Lawsuit By George Soros’ Former Lover Moves Forward

Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Dismisses Soros Attempt to Have $50M Lawsuit Dismissed

Happier Times: Adriana Ferreyr & Soros (Splash News)

And the drama between billionaire philanthropist George Soros and his decades-younger ex-girlfriend continues.

“A Manhattan Supreme Court judge shot down the octogenarian mogul’s attempt to dismiss a blockbuster $50 million lawsuit by his … ex, actress Adriana Ferreyr,” the New York Post reports.

“Justice Debra James upheld most of the beauty’s claims against the lefty activist, who allegedly reneged on a promise to give her a $1.9 million apartment and then slapped her around when she complained, court papers say,” the report adds.

Ferreyr’s lawsuit states that Soros promised her the swanky Manhattan digs in January 2010, TheBlaze noted last year.

Also noted in that report were allegations that Soros and his team tried to make the lawsuit go away by offering Ferreyr’s cousin a $250,000 bribe.

“The cousin says the offer was a bribe; Soros’ lawyer says it was merely an attempt to settle the dispute,” the Daily News reports. “The $50 million suit also contained claims of emotional torture, harassment and violence — all denied by the twice-divorced Soros.”

Ferreyr’s cousin, himself a lawyer, responded by writing “he could not be bought.”

“I was shocked that George called me to offer me $250,000 in order to get my sympathy, get rid of her lawyers and settle the case,” Mauricio Carneiro wrote back. “I learned of Mr. Soros’ malicious actions against my cousin and I am shocked by his behavior. Adriana’s character is of the highest order.”

But despair not Soros fans! Justice James cut the octogenarian lover a little slack: She threw out Ferreyr’s fraud claim, ruling that Soros really did intend to give her the apartment.

However, that’s not to say that James, who referred to Soros’ behavior as “atrocious,” is going soft on the liberal heavyweight.

He “exhibited violent conduct towards her and hired persons to follow and intimidate her,” the judge’s decision reads.

Stay tuned until next month when both sides continue to do battle at a court date in February.

HEY! I just read that “Adriana’s character is of the highest order.”
Anyway, whatever the “order” of her character, I hope she gets all that she asks for in the lawsuit.

She’s entitled to hazardous pay for putting up with Geogre ‘Gold Member’ Soros when he’d prance around in his Mankini (a male bikini made from a speedo with shoulder straps sewn on, as seen in the movie ‘Gold Member’ of Austin Power fame) and in George’s case with its make believe ballroom. They were using one another. He was using her for her youth. She liked how he used a toothpick to hold up his limp coctail wheenie. The relationship went south when she tried to heat it up in a microwave oven hoping it would ‘plump’. Anyway, she’s entitled. To put up with him I’d say a billion would be appropreate. He likes throwing his money away on worthless causes anyway, so whats the big deal.

Philanthropy etymologically means “love of man” in the sense of caring for, nourishing, improving, and enhancing the quality of life for human beings.
Why does the the media use the word ” philanthropist ” in the same sentence as Soros? He is anything but a philanthropist.

We have a name for women like that where I come from. And beauty should never be used to describe a woman who beds an old turd like Soros for money. A soul full of poop does not exude beauty in anything but pictures, and that is questionable.

Aren’t there laws against attacking someone? Why is he not in jail. Had I “slapped someone around” especially a female, you could damn well bet that I would be in jail. I hope the gold-digger gets the full amount, or the cradle-robber has to pay more.

Just one, big , happy, Alinsky- Communist -styled family ! Yes, we have seen this all before . Big Brothers never die, they just “change” ( wink, wink ) their names ! And old George, who bought the newest version’s many MEDIA outlets, knows that fact for sure. Propaganda Pays !

      Well, she is intelligent.

” Ferreyr took the Vestibular for law of PUC-Rio and was placed among the top candidates. She was accepted to the law school of Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. While studying at PUC, she continued her acting career and after two years landed a role as a lead character in the prime time SBT television soap opera, Marisol (2002).

At 29 years old, Ferreyr is pursuing a degree in economics and philosophy at Columbia University School of General Studies” -wiki

Intelligent or not, this looks like gold digging. Still Soros got into the relationship. such as it is, with eyes wide open, so he should pay.
