On his Monday evening broadcast, Glenn Beck declared that the GOP, as America knows it, is dead and that it’s not a bad thing as far as conservatives are concerned.
In a day and age in which conservatives feel increasingly marginalized, some are left wondering if they should simply accept progressivism. For Beck, however, that is not the case. While he believes that the GOP has been irrelevant for quite some time, he said the future of conservatism is still very much important and attainable:

Jan. 29, 2013 at 12:13pmActually, FAKE-conservative/libertarian, REPUBLICAN Beck is attempting to separate himself from HIS REPUBLICAN party, to preserve any credibility he has left. It’s RHETORIC. In reality, Beck WILL DO ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING to smother efforts to strengthen any third party and PRESERVE the leftist republican party.
I voted Constitution Party Michael Peroutka in 04 and Constitution Party Baldwin in 08. I’ve voted for a slew of Constitution Party and Libertarian Party candidates. NOT ONCE… NOT ONCE, EVER, has Glenn Beck interviewed, talked about, promoted, or EVEN MENTIONED any of them, because that would harm HIS republican party.
GOP is done? Well, where the GOP goes, so goes GOPer Glenn Beck.

Jan. 29, 2013 at 1:40pmHere is a worthwhile project…
Recruit true conservative candidates and current office holders into the Constitution Party. Conservatives have no current home. The GOP simply doesn’t want us. They want our votes, just like the Democrats want a monolithic Black and Hispanic vote. They don’t care about what Black and Hispanic families want. In addition to us, there are a lot of conservative Democrats who have been weaned on the idea that they can never vote for a Republican. They can and will vote for a CP candidate, and the candidates can and will win elections. If the CP is given some credibility and a realistic chance of winning elections, what we the people can accomplish, with them representing us, would be breathtaking.
Here is a sampling of worthy CP recruits that come to my mind right away. I’m sure there are dozens more. Please list them here if you wish:
Sen. Marco Rubio-FL…..Sen. Rand Paul-KY….Sen. Ted Cruz-TX….Rep. Michelle Bachman-MN….Pres. candidate Herman Cain…former Rep. Alan West-FL…former Rep. Todd Akin-MO.

Jan. 29, 2013 at 2:43pmYup, WOLVERINES56. This is textbook REPUBLICAN propaganda – where you attempt to RETREAD leftist republicans as somehow… Constitution Party material. Kinda like REPUBLICAN Beck trying desperately to paint himself “libertarian.”
Marco Rubio is a FAKE-TEA, pro-amnesty (treason), warmongering leftist REPUBLICAN.
Rand Paul is an EMBARRASSING SELLOUT, FAKE-TEA, amnesty (treason), boot-licking REPUBLICAN… who sold out his own father and his father’s Liberty Movement FOR A FLAMING PROGRESSIVE REPUBLICAN… to ONLY consequently reelect King Soetoro.
Michele Bachmann is a FAKE-TEA, warmongering, “Patriot” Acting, police/surveillance-state leftist REPUBLICAN.
Herman Cain is a FAKE-TEA, socialist REPUBLICAN.
Alan West is a FAKE-TEA, socialist, “Patriot” Acting, warmongering, police/surveillance-state, debt ceiling hiking, leftist REPUBLICAN.
As a Constitution Party guy, who voted Peroutka in 04 and Baldwin in 08, I say to the “conservatives” you listed:
STAY AWAY FROM THE CONSTITUTION PARTY!!! And stick with the LEFTIST republican party that best reflects your worldviews. DO NOT RUIN A WELL-ESTABLISHED PARTY, BY CO-OPTING IT… just like you ruined the tea party by co-opting it for the LEFTIST republican party!
STAY AWAY!!!

Small steps, Brother. You can pat yourself on the back for voting with conscience and voting for a name that nobody ever heard of, and getting 2% of the vote if you’d like. I, on the other hand, still recognize that to get our country back, we need to win elections. I am a member of the Constitution Party. PECULIAR:
“He may spontaneously combust, and need to be extinguished.”
REASON:
Alinskyite smearing IS THE TRADEMARK of an ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICAN and is rarely, if ever found, in a Constitution Partier.
PECULIAR:
“Small steps, Brother.”
REASON:
This logic is PURE ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICAN. A REAL Constitution Partier would have moved WELL BEYOND this childish (and failed) “better” evil theory.
PECULIAR:
“You can pat yourself on the back for voting with conscience and voting for a name that nobody ever heard of”
REASON:
Ron Paul was LOVED AND KNOWN BY MILLIONS and COULD HAVE SLAUGHTERED King Soetoro… but, sadly, he was cheated out of nomination by the leftist republican party.
PECULIAR:
“still recognize that to get our country back, we need to win elections.”
REASON:
“Winning elections” can be done WITHOUT SACRIFICING INTEGRITY OR CONSTITUTIONAL LIBERTY. Again, Ron Paul PROVED THIS – he could be President at this moment, if it wasn’t for the leftist republican party.
DOUBTFUL:
“I am a member of the Constitution Party.”
REASON:
Most FAKE-conservatives are desperately trying to morph into other things, because the word “republican” is so toxic. They will POSE as “conservative” “tea party” “libertarian” or “Constitution Party.” But it’s a ruse. They are STILL REPUBLICAN… AND WILL FOREVER SUPPORT REPUBLICANS! Like Bachmann, West, Cain, etc.

Jan. 29, 2013 at 5:21amThe 2 party system is a ruse foisted upon a dull, publicly educated society. The Constitution says, “WE THE PEOPLE…” but we have been taught, they the politicians. It used to be they worked for us, but where is the evidence that is still true? And does either party represent your values?
The electoral college set the election system up, but the politicians tore it down with amendments “we the people” voted for; now we have the Democracy, this Republic was trying to avoid. Elitists, forbidden by the Constitution, are the rulers, and they reside in both parties. They get rich, make rules and laws against us, none of which they are obligated to live under, and make the election laws that keep them in office. Look at the death of Ted Kennedy; his funeral had the pomp of some high-mucky-muck; he was only a Senator that stayed too long in DC, and there are 99 more of them. With the right President and 60 like minded Senators, the rest of the 475 politicians don’t count. This country hasn’t had a budget in more than 4 years, because the 60 don’t want one. THAT gives the President all the money he wants to do what he wants, no strings attached, and the House of Representatives (435 useless individuals) continue to fund whatever the President desires. Gone is the country that was the only Republic in the world , (where the people ruled themselves) yet the world depended upon it more than any other country. It gave the world all that it has, and the ingrates want it destroyed

Personally, I don’t see a way out of their mess for a very long time if it is their desire to go even more conservative. The Country is just not leaning that way. They have only won the popular vote once in the last six presidential elections. In my opinion, that in a nutshell, tells you where the trend is leaning. They look a the 2010 election as proof that Conservative principles are what America wants, but there were many reasons that they did so well in that election, mainly because Democrats typically do not have as large of a turnout on off-year elections, because of the Tea Party hysteria, and because of the economic climate. But now, the economy is getting better every day, and most people have gotten tired of the Tea Party’s antics. Democrats’ next job is to “get the vote out” in 2014.

Marco Rubio, Allen West, and others who were propelled into office on certain *conditional promises* to the American Patriots of the Tea Party and other conservative groups, had an obligation to stand against such travesties, and defend the Constitution. Only one of them has suffered the severe consequences of turning traitor, Allen West.
If Americans are really serious, all of these traitors MUST GO! NOW! All of their cohorts must be made to understand, We the People will no longer compromise to our detriment. It ends NOW!
If no one is willing to start recalls against these traitors, then America has only one way back to legal government….I hope it’s not a path we have to take…..
BTW, Menendez stands accused of preying upon underage Dominican females for his own sexual perversions…..and we should let him hammer out a deal??????
Just an FYI, we were PROMISED when amnesty was forced upon us under Reagan, that we would never go there again, that after that grant of amnesty, all would be well. Why on earth would anyone believe them now…….?
GOD Bless

Jan. 29, 2013 at 12:14amI doubt Mr. Beck would have had this libertarian epiphany and be celebrating the Republican elephant’s death had the Mormon Rino been elected.

Jan. 29, 2013 at 4:41amHad the Republicans actually won, they’d be still ‘alive’. It would be the democrats Glenn would be saying are ‘dieing’.

Jan. 29, 2013 at 7:39amMr. Beck has always been a follower. After several prominent Republicans gave speeches this weekend on how to “fix” the Republican Party, Glenn Beck copied them.
But the mistake Glenn Beck makes is the Republican Party’s values were never his far right fringe values. The Republicans haven’t lost their way. What happened is the far right tried to take over the party and lost, just as they did in the mid 60′s.
America has been winning the fight against fifth column movements since before WWII and will continue to shove the likes of Glenn Beck back into the dark hole where they belong.

Yet she’s right. The far-right paranoids have tried to take over conservatism and brand anyone dissenting from their reactionary views as a traitor or a RINO. Nationally they are failing, as movements like the tea-party have historically done, but they will do plenty of damage to the party and it’s brand on their way down. They can’t be reasonable, as they were elected by those who won’t listen to reason. They can’t compromise, as their constitutents think thats a perjorative. They can’t act intelligently, because they can’t be seen at home as an intellectual. The tea-party is in real trouble, but they’ll always play in enough southern house districts and a few backwards states to cause real trouble for the GOP. They are taking just enough seats from republicans to weaken the party. It’s actually the baggers that are R-I-N-O.

Jan. 29, 2013 at 12:10amI have not watched tonight’s show yet. It is obvious that the RNC have compromised all of their principles away to the Progressives. Because Republicans have compromised with the Democrats on every issue and not stood their ground the RNC has been nugged and dragged ever farther left so that the Democrats have to keep moving farther left just to be left of the RNC. Constitutional Conservatives are waking up to the fact, finally. With the guns and immigration issues (which should NOT even be issues, if the law is applied Constitutionally) the Republicans are way over their heads and nothing good is coming from these compromising cowards. There is clearly an Agenda and it does not favor Americans, only the ruling elite.
