Another Massive Military ‘Training Drill’ Involving Helicopters Spotted in Houston, Texas — Watch the Raw Footage

Another Army Training Drill Conducted in Houston, Texas

Following reports of a military exercise occurring in Miami this week, KTRK-TV shot video of military-style helicopters roaming the skies in Houston, Texas. There have also been several reports of gunfire in the area.

The U.S. Army tells KTRK-TV that they are overseeing a “multi-agency training drill” at the old Carnegie High School on Houston’s south side. There were reportedly armed men in fatigues, a lot of firearms and what many believed were real live rounds.

The Army did not give any additional details regarding what the training is all about or why it is being conducted in Houston.

KTRK-TV provides some raw footage of the apparent training drill:

One local resident, Frances Jerrals, didn’t understand what was happening when she saw military helicopters flying over her southeast Houston neighborhood.

“When you see this, you think the worst. When you hear this, you think the worst,” Jerrals told KTRK-TV.

“I felt like I was in a war zone…It was nonstop. I was terrified,” she added.

Another resident said the Army should do a better job of alerting the locals before they conduct such an alarming training drill.

A statement from police in Miami-Dade County argued the training exercise in Miami was “routine” and “designed to ensure the military’s ability to operate in urban environments, prepare forces for upcoming overseas deployments and meet mandatory certification requirement.”

7,000 purchased automatic weapons, 1.6 billion rounds of ammo, practice helicopter assaults. Is there any question what is going on? This is prep for what these jo’s believe is coming namely civil unrest caused by a tyrannical government.

The military did this from time to time back in the day. It was like a recruiting tool. I don’t think thats the case today. But thats just me. I think everyone should join a Militia that is not controlled by any Government. A Militia that has regulations, chains of command and a solid training program. Anyone Ramboing it, should be shuned. The US Military has more then enough training ground that it is not necessary to function and train in civilian areas without prior notification and approval of the local Government. This is the United States of America. We are a free people. Totally differant and unable to accept anything less then INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM. The rest of the world can eat Sh-t and die if they don’t cherish FREEDOM as we do.

This makes no sense as military installations have their own training grounds. There is no need for them to be out training in public areas. The military even has URBAN training facilities.

Houston needs to FIRE their Police Chief as does Metro-Dade / Miami. Where are the SHERIFFS of these countys ? Who are the ” other agencies ” of OUR Federal Government that are involved ? Why aren’t you on the phone to your Employees ( Congress ) Right Now ? United We Stand.

Gentlemen and ladies: There should be no doubt in your minds that this illegally in office, communist minded president and the democratic party have the intentions of overthrow the Constitution and replace it with a dictatorship. The only thing that stands between that possibility is private ownership of guns and gun related equipment. If you don’t have a rifle and/or shotgun and/or pistol, you need to get one immediately, before it is too late! Recruits joining the army are now required to sign a statement that ask if they would fire on American citizens if ordered to do so. Don’t just sit there being concerned. Concern is not a viable tactic against un-American, immoral, illegal actions. This illegal government doesn’t care about your ‘concerns’. They only care about confiscating your guns, setting up a totalitarian dictatorship, and then it is on to genocide upon all those who disagree with the regime.

BRYANB You are correct on the unit that was training there, it was the 160th Special Operations Regiment also known as the Night Stalkers. The reason they train in urban enviroments is so they can fly into and operate in urban enviroments in hostile areas around the world. These are the men who flew under radar into Pakistan to get Bin Laden, Thank God they have afforded the opportunity to practice in cities before they flew into Pakistan. All the lights in cities play havoc on the pilots and crews while flying under NVG’s or goggles as we called them. By the way I was one of the Special Operators from Ft. Campbell Ky. NSDQ

If this is so ordinary then why were the residents scared out of their minds? Why didn’t they warn the locals and why would they use an American school as a place to practice? This country is not like any place where we now have combat actions. The military have their own mock settings that simulate middle eastern areas. This is plain BS.

  You are to paranoid. These men need to train in actual urban enviroments. This training has been going on since I was in back in the late 80′s. I used to be one of the men in the black helicopters, take off the tin foil. By the way, the men in these units are the ones who would stand beside you and fight to stop the government from becoming tyranical. The only way they will take my guns is from my cold dead hands is the way these men feel also.

The Middle East military (terrorist) groups have revolutionized combat once again. Blend in and kill them from within. Wearing uniforms is stupid. If our US Military takes arms against the populus of this country, you will have 150 Million+ armed militia versus their skimpy numbers. They have the technology, but unless they commit massive genocide, the people of the US will win. The US Constitution is a monster of a thing to try and bring down. The spirit of the people who crave freedom, not handouts, will prevail. I will bet that a large portion of the US Military will take up arms with us, not against us.

Since when do we need the military operating in our own civilian areas? That has not happened since the Civil War. Wake up America. There are enough cold hard hearts in this country that will be more than happy to help support the declaring of martial law in this country for the slightest of reasons.

They probably came from Ft Hood, Which is one of the largest active army bases in the entire world. Fort Hood plays a large part in training and readying troops for all types of situations all over the world.

As an Airman I am convinced this guy will act within the next year to impose whatever laws he has to in order to ensure he will be King for life! Had “W” done something like this could you imagine the outcry by the main stain media? This is not a conspiracy since they are doing it in the open. Maybe Sandy Hook was a test case?

Settle down conspiracy theorists. Anyone who has served in or supported a SOF unit can tell you why they conduct training missions like this. It provides the most realistic training environments available as oppose to conducting endless runs on familiar military base training facilities.

The good guys have God on our sides. There are the Oath Keepers and Sheriffs and citizens who will come together and the tactics are those from the Stan’s and Vietnam and drug gangs in Mexico. We lack the tech but know when this revolution comes down the economy STOPS because there will be no shoppers…no GDP , martial law ( who cares) and full on assassination random…think Blade Runner or the old Escape From New York. This is a special operations unit most likely “Delta” coming in on “Little Bird” Choppers.. My good friend just retired out of special operations, and this is typical practice run. This is not anything out of the norm, and would not worry to much about it, just gives them real world practice with local authorities in cause of hostage situations ect.

I haven’t read the story or any of the posts just because I am short of time but I am sure that most people get it. They have a saying in the military “Train the way you’ll fight and fight the way you trained” What kind of fight do you think they are training for now? I am sure most people understand and now you can also understand the government’s push to do away with the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and confiscate guns. We are in for some really bad times ahead folks.

Maybe it was due to weather patterns? Not a very bright idea, there is no common sense reason for military drills in civilian areas since the military has controlled facilities (gun ranges and proving grounds) that are designed to prevent civilian anxiety and for safety reasons?

If you can’t afford to transport people to these training facilities, then don’t have them?

Whether a govt sponsored event or not, having what appears to be a long haired male “mugging” for the camera would not happen it it was a military op,this person looked to be an over weight male,and may be dhs ins,or irs,either way, in real combat, these pos’ will crap their pants turn tail and run.These “missions” are simply done to try and get the American public to react violently,making it easier for der feuher to put marshal law in place. Lock and load people, then hide and wait, let them start it……
