High School Teacher Suspended After Allegedly Posting Semi-Naked Pics, Joking About Drugs & ‘Jailbait’ Students on Twitter

A high school math teacher at Overland High School in Aurora, Colorado has been suspended pending an investigation into her less than respectable Twitter account.

According to Colorado’s NBC 9News, 23-year-old Carly McKinney not only posted semi-naked photos of herself, she also joked about drugs and students who are “jailbait” using her Twitter handle @Crunk_Bear.

This was her profile picture before the account was pulled:

9News, which broke the story, describes the disturbing tweets:

One post said “Naked. Wet. Stoned.” Another indicated the poster was high while grading papers. An additional post even talks about having marijuana on school property saying, “Watching a drug bust go down in the parking lot. It’s funny cuz I have weed in my car in the staff parking lot.”

The Twitter account also included posts about working as a teacher, apparently posted during the school day. “Instead of being productive, I’ve been on Twitter…” the poster professes. A post that seems to be about a student says, “Just got called Ms. McCutie. Points for being clever, however you are still jailbait.”

“Jailbait,” for those unfamiliar with the term, is what sexually attractive people under the age of 18 are sometimes called.

9News was able to briefly speak with McKinney, and she claimed that the account was just a joke she began with a friend. She also said the more inappropriate tweets were posted without her knowledge or consent.

However, soon after she got off the phone, this message went up on the Twitter account: “Local news station just called me…Tweeking out.”

The school district reiterates that they will investigate the matter, warning teachers that they shouldn’t post anything on social media they wouldn’t post on the chalkboard.

I hope this school has a mandatory drug test for teachers, but, I’m sure the unions will have a problem with that.   I’m 52 but when I was in the ninth grade I had a smoking hot female math teacher that liked me and taught me to play golf. Our relationship ended up sexual but only lasted a brief time. The difference between me and some of the little douches that are now turning their teachers in is that I kept my mouth shut and I’m glad I did. I have no regrets.

  Look, this crap happens CONSTANTLY and EVERYDAY. It is happening right now as I am writing this with other teachers (both male and female.) This is what America has become as a society. We even have people who stand up and declare how disgusting we all have become as a “civilized” people and meanwhile they are doing the same thing in various different ways while keeping it all hidden. We are not going to change, we have started down this road and the majority of Americans (and westerners in general) LIKE IT.
  
  Moreover, why hasn’t the Blaze reported on Finny’s “*******” comment on MSNBC? Why is it that she is allowed to use a racial slur against someone like me and if I were to use a racial slur against anyone else I would be held in contempt? And then she comes out and changes the definition of the word “*******” as used in a racial insult into something else. They are constantly redefining everything and we just stand idly by. Sad that even Drudge Report, which simply collects news outlet links and shares them in meaningful ways does a better job at keeping up with the horrid changing happening in America, while people like Fox and The Blaze report on petty crap constantly and usually miss some of the large and dangerous items to our way of life…

  well- if the teacher is tenure then they may go to the rubber room since they can’t be fired…………yep there is at least 1 teacher that has collected 1 million{85,000 year} in salary since he was kicked out of classrooms for sexual misconduct……he hopes to retire soon with full benifits i’m sure

  You dont need much to become a teacher with this program.
  Still a student mentality when they get there job.
  I work in a CO school. They are still trying to find themselves in life let alone teach a child. They have very little life experience and NO CLASSROOM MANAGMENT SKILLS to control kids.
  They are still Twitter and Facebook junkies who just teach what their college professors taught them,

  It’s not new. When I was in 10th grade geometry, 30 years ago, we had a student teacher, w/4 years of college, who could not do the equations! I and another student did the lessons on the chalk board, for her, when the regular teacher wasn’t there.

I’m actually sick of these stories. It’s happening far too often now. Clearly colleges are pumping out sub-standard debris that call themselves teachers. These vacuous cretins have no idea that a teacher is an authority figure. They have no grasp of the idea that school children can find material on them on the internet. This idiot went as far as to say she was stoned while grading papers. Do our children really deserve this kind of disrespect and low-ability teacher? And the lame excuse this one offers? The account was a joke she and her friend set up and someone else was posting the material. And the same old Keystone Kops response from the liberal eunuchs on the school board.

Look…the GOP has 30 governors in office right now with varies degrees of control of their state senates in each of their states. NOW IS THE TIME TO ACT. It’s time to shake up our schools and these governors can do that. The liberal deathgrip on our schools has to be broken now.

  Texas is starting to use a government teaching program called CScope, where they teach the same thing in every classroom, on the same day. In one lesson plan that got exposed, they compared The Boston Tea Party with the terrorist attack of 9/11 on the Twin Towers. I now homeschool my 8th grader. I started from the beginning of an Algebra text book, an in just one month, he’s past where he was in school. Bummer, because at first, he could teach himself by reading the lesson, then doing the test, with a 90%. Now I’m having to teach it. I was on the math team all 4 years of high school.
