Jimmy Kimmel Is at It Again: Watch These People Lie Shamelessly About Watching the Super Bowl That Hasn’t Been Played Yet
ABC late night host Jimmy Kimmel’s “Lie Witness News” sketch has become a hit. Kimmel and his crew have asked people about the non-existent “First Lady Debate” and also President Obama’s second inauguration before it happened, allowing people to make fools of themselves and lie to avoid looking uninformed.
This week, Kimmel asked people what they thought about the Super Bowl, arguably the most widely watched television program of the year.
Oh, the game isn’t until Sunday. But that didn’t stop people from lying on the spot just so they didn’t have to admit they had no idea what they were talking about.
One man congratulated the “79ers” on their victory, while one woman informed the camera that the two teams that played in the Super Bowl were the 49ers and the “Timberwolves,” which is an NBA team. Another man even lied about losing $200 in a Super Bowl bet.
When asked if Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis deserved the MVP honors, one of the respondents said yes because “he came to win, not just to play.”
For those who actually want to know, the Baltimore Ravens will face the San Francisco 49ers in this year’s Super Bowl in New Orleans on Sunday.
Watch the hysterical video below via ABC:
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isnβt really about controlling guns at all; itβs about controlling us. Posted on January 30, 2013 at 9:50pmTonight, the Factor on Fox News had a talking points piece on how crappy the economy is, yet Obama’s approval ratings continue to rise. Bill O. is stumped. I’m not, all that you need to do is watch this piece and an earlier one that Kimmel did and it explains it all. It’s really true, the old adage that “you get what you pay for” and unfortunately look who’s doing most of the shopping.

Posted on January 30, 2013 at 8:30pmWould bet dollars to donuts that every one of these people voted for Obama. If Kimmel had any guts he would ask each person after the the question is answered who they voted for. There is no honesty, no character, no integrity left in this country. No wonder we are in such trouble. Somebody taught these people, their parents, their schools, society. Humongous failure on all fronts.

Just think, if this is real, that these people likely vote. And they likely also sob at news stories and, on command, demand whatever the powers that be want that day as if they knew what in the hell was going on in the world.
If you ever want a great argument against democracy you need look further than the man on the street to provide you with ample reason.

It’s not that they don’t know when the Superbowl is….it’s the lying.
Why not just say, “I don’t follow football” or “I’m not a football fan” or …etc.
Lying & saying you lost $200 on a game that hasn’t been played yet???? Why? what’s the point?

Posted on January 30, 2013 at 7:15pmPerhaps. :) If it’s the lying, then I’m in complete agreement. I consider myself to be well-informed and intelligent, however, the super bowl is just not my thing, so I don’t pay attention to it. In my opinion, sports are the great distraction for what’s going on; in addition to American Idol. :)

I saw Cheech and Chong Live in a circular auditorium where the stage spun 360 degrees. The warm up band, which wasn’t on the ticket and didn’t have an album out yet was Steely Dan !!!
As soon as Cheech and Chong came out on stage they were bombarded, from a full 360 degrees, by joints thrown at them. They pocketed a few immediately and the stage crew “cleaned up” later. LOL
