A 15-year-old honors student from Chicago who just got back from performing at President Obama’s inauguration has been shot dead by thugs in a local park, police say.
King College Prep sophomore Hadiya Pendleton was a majorette and a volleyball star, her friends add, who was part of a band and drill team that played for President Obama.
The New York Daily News continues:
Hadiya Pendleton was among approximately a dozen teens taking cover from the rain in a local park at 2:30 p.m. when a gunman jumped a fence and opened fire, according to reports. Pendleton and other King College Prep students had been dismissed from school early due to exams.
The gunshots sent the entire group running out of the park in a panic, authorities say. Pendleton and a 16-year-old boy were both hit and collapsed about one block away.
Pendleton was shot once in the back and later died at the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital. The wounded boy was in serious condition Tuesday night, according to the Chicago Tribune. [Emphasis added]
Neighbors were horrified by the news.
“There has to be an end to it. It’s just too much. The children cannot go to school. They’re in fear,” Bonita O’Bannion reportedly said.
Police say Pendleton wasn’t affiliated with a gang herself, but most of the people she was with at the park were. None of them stuck around to help her, or provide information for police.

Any Mayor that allows this to continue, needs to be replaced. Good dang thing I have no business in Chicago, as it would be the last place I’d ever want to win a trip to. I would turn around and walk. Chicago has always been a “gangster town” and it still is. If you have a death wish, pay for a plane ticket to CHICAGO…

The Chicago legal system thrives on gang violence, it supports the cops, lawyers, judges, prison system and the parole system! Everyone who loses a family member to gun violence should sue the city and the mayor for not doing their jobs. If government can’t control a gun ban law in an area the size of Chicago, how in the world could they control it nation wide. Wake up America our government wants to ban guns to control us, not to end gun violence. If gun bans worked Chicago would be the safest city in the country instead of the deadliest.

I look at the Ten Commandments, and it always says simply “Thou shalt not kill”. Murder might be mentioned elsewhere in the Bible, but the Ten Commandments are the most basic things that we should follow.

However, what you need to know is that the original autographs of scripture still exist. From the original Greek, translated in the Septuagent by Jews living in Alexandria, around 300 B.C. So you do not have to depend on any particular version, because the originals still exist.

This killing of this young girl was definitely a murder. Most of the killings are murder of unarmed people. A simple billboard might just serve as a reminder that God is present. It is so easy to lose sight of and forget about Him in today’s crazy world. It sure can’t hurt!

Frisking minorities is clearly racist and prejudicial and can’t be done ‘fairly’ in our Multi-Cultural society. Besides we know that most members of the TEA party patriots are over 65, less agile and lack the strength to effectively defend themselves. More importantly the MSM constantly reports the fact that they are racist vicious hateful lawbreaking killers who insist on defending the completely discredited US Constitution and will never surrender their guns. “Stop and frisk” catches them with their guard down and is the best way to finally disarm all of them.
