The Senate Armed Services Committee will hold a hearing on the Benghazi attacks next week, committee chairman Sen. Carl Levin said Thursday.
Levin (D-Mich.) made the announcement at the start of the committee’s confirmation hearing for secretary of defense nominee Chuck Hagel.
Levin did not say which day the hearing would be held.
Outgoing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton appeared before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee last week to answer questions about the Sept. 11 assault on the U.S. consulate that left four Americans dead.

I for one can remember the real reason for the uproar concerning Benghazi, past the mistakes made by incompitent pols, past the lies, past all the bull s_h_!_t.
Lets please rember, the four people that lost their lives because of all the afore mentioned things…

Posted on January 31, 2013 at 4:39pmBenghazi is over. Trying to manufacture some kind of scandal out of the sad incidents there was just a dirty trick to try to swing the election. Since it didnβt work, the Republicans want to put the whole thing behind them so that people will forget how in the basest depths of their cynical opportunism they attempted to exploit a tragedy for political gain. Unfortunately for them, they made so much noise about it when they still thought their wicked ploy might work that they have to placate the stooges who are still listening to the echoes inside the far right feedback zone by letting the furor die down slowly instead of dropping it like a hot potato.

Posted on January 31, 2013 at 1:20pmDo you think it is possible that someone will courtroom style interrogate this witness, so it can legitimately be called a hearing?

Posted on January 31, 2013 at 4:31pmNo, because in a courtroom once you ask a question and the witness answers it, you have to ask a different question, not have ten more people ask them the exact same question.

Posted on January 31, 2013 at 1:01pm“What does it matter?” They lie under oath and get passes all the time. We have a Rogue Regime in place, the final structure to bring down this Republic is nearly in place, and no one is willing to do a d*mn thing about it, not the Senate, not The US House, not SCOTUS, and not the people.
Obama= Nero to the Trillionth power.
